Absolutely loved this place. It's quaint to say the least. Rented a place with a view and it's gorgeous in the evening. The "Village" or whatever it's called seems to be family friendly. I'd go back in a flash.

Sweet P and Sky

Google
This is our favorite place to stay when visiting the Vegas area with kids. It’s far enough from the strip to avoid all of the smoke, yet close enough if you want to get a little Vegas under your belt. It’s gorgeous and we love the little town. Feels like a little slice of Italy.

Love this place! Always worth the visit.

Amazing place to get some air and get your thoughts together!

Google
Excellent getaway close to Las Vegas. Secluded and peaceful. Surprisingly vast. Wonderful area. The layout of the town is great and allows for nice views anywhere you go. The parking is simple to navigate, and as you walk around there are plenty of "maps" posted so you know which shops and restaurants are located around the area.

Google
I recently came across your property and noticed how peaceful and well-kept the area is, especially near the water. I was wondering if you would kindly allow me permission to fish there. I hold a valid Nevada state fishing license and would be happy to follow any rules or guidelines you may have in place. I fully respect private property and can assure you that I will leave no litter, avoid disturbing the area, and fish responsibly and quietly. I’m simply looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy fishing, and your location looks ideal. Please let me know if this would be possible. I’d be more than happy to speak with you further or agree to any conditions you might require. Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

Google
This is a different view of Las Vegas, there are lake views, resort hotels, good quality houses and condos, restaurants and cafes. Of course there are also golf course and hiking trails in the area. A place that you can spend a weekend or just an afternoon.

Yelp
Loved it! The rooms were nice and clean, breakfast was really good. Go for buffet, it's better than things of the menu. I will say steak and eggs from the menu were bad! Buffet is the way to go! I also want to give a shout out to Hernan who helped me find my way. He stopped everything he was doing and took me to the area I was looking for ( and I was quite far from it). So thank you for excellent customer service! Spa is gorgeous too! They have cold plunge, sauna, steam rooms...I got the massage and it was perfect thing to end the trip! Pool is also nice, we enjoyed it! Overall, great experience!

Yelp
Beautiful resort/lake. Stayed om the Luna Di Lusso Condos. Staff is friendly, condo is clean. The lake, restaurants, water sports, all walking distance. will definitely return.

Kristi L.

Yelp
plumbing is pad clogged drains. Nothing drains well. There is cockroaches and the beds are very hard and they do not have everything updated in the resort is very outdated and dirty. The spa is not anything to rant or rave about. Everything close down at 10 o'clock the pools closed down at 6 PM

Chantal M.

Yelp
Dirty neglected area. Broken concrete, dead plants, dirty pathways. Hasn't been swept or cleaned in a long time. So sad since there's so much potential. Makes it hard to go back.

Yelp
You know how the first time you drive to a place a bit off the beaten path it seems like it's 3x farther than it really is? That perfectly describes Lake Las Vegas and helps keep our overall traffic load quite light. I hope my raving review doesn't change that ;) I moved to this desert wonderland in May of 2016 after stating I would NEVER live in Henderson. I'm not sure why I had such beef with Hendertucky, perhaps it was that god awful name just provided. Anyway, I was leasing a house and unexpectedly had to move, which left me with no time to buy, and really no time to look. Luckily, I had been anticipating moving when my lease ended and was looking daily on the MLS to see what was available for lease. Things were looking pretty bleak and I was beginning to panic. Then, low and behold, I found this AMAZING home in Lake Las Vegas (LLV) for a rather modest rent given the upgrades, amenities, location, size...the list goes on. I figured ok, I'll go tour it, but I already know I want it. It was a lot more than I had paid in the past, but given rising rental rates in the greater Las Vegas area, I felt it was a good value overall. I filled out the application and brought all required docs to meet my realtor. She was already inside the home and said I should jump on it because this home is a great value and the area is superb. I should mention, however, the first time I drove out here I thought "dude, this is wayyyy way out. Ima be on Pluto with Future Hendrix soon (sorry, couldn't resist with that ill double album release this week). Anyway, I digress. Back to beautiful LLV. Realistically, it's only 21 miles from my house to my office, which is very close to McCarran International Airport. Traffic does get a bit heavy on the 215 due to construction, but I'm no further out than if I lived in Summerlin, and certainly no further than North Las Vegas. Plus, the US 95 can be bypassed by entering Lake Mead and taking Northshore Dr. if heading to North Las Vegas or towards I-15 north. Let me tell you a little bit about what I get to experience living in this oasis just outside of the chaos of Las Vegas. I have an amazing assortment of wildlife that visits frequently (season dependent, of course) including: bighorn sheep that visit frequently, migratory birds--including southwestern willow flycatchers (protected under the Endangered Species Act as Endangered), Gambel's quail (Callipepla gambelii), waterfowl, packs of coyotes that yip and howl in the wee hours of the night, Woodhouse's toads, and pond turtles. Lake Mead is also only about 5 minutes away and there is a large amount of BLM protected desert to explore near the end of the Las Vegas Wash (also less than 5 min. away). This is also the most QUIET, safest community I've lived in since I moved to Las Vegas in January '04. If nature isn't your thing, there is the Village at Lake Las Vegas just a couple of minutes down the road. Although it's still recovering from the recession, there is a great little market that recently opened, and a few restaurants/bars to enjoy. The Village also is home to the now defunct Montelago Casino (not necessarily a bad thing--hopefully it eventually returns sans casino), and Westin and Hilton resorts. Last but not least, LLV is home to Reflection Bay Golf Club. Having moved to Las Vegas from Palm Springs, CA, having a golf course in my community is a huge bonus, especially a quality course such as Reflection Bay's. There is also a sports club that just opened solely for the residents of LLV (at a pretty hefty price, I might add). Overall, LLV has it all without the hype of the city. It's very well maintained by Gothic landscaping (they're here on a seemingly daily basis), and regularly patrolled by security. If you're looking for the perfect place to live, I highly recommend checking out LLV. You will not be disappointed.

Yelp
Awesome alternative getaway spot off the strip for a date night, families, golfers, water sports enthusiasts, weekend warriors and oh yeah don't forget your pup! I have been coming here for quite a few years now and it has been awesome to see the development around the lake basin. As of right now there is no gambling yet, but the casinos are already made and I assume just waiting for licensing to get them going. The Hilton Side: Set to emulate Florence and its famed Ponte Vecchio bridge, Italian gardens, hourly ringing bells and green shuttered room exteriors, this resort sets the perfect vibe for a luxurious getaway. This side of the lake is the more happening side complete with a plethora of exciting water sports, music and entertainment. Within this Hilton Village there are many restaurants and bars to go to as well as a grocery store with a fantastic deli where you can get everything that your little heart desires! The Westin Side: This side is a little more exclusive and quiet in comparison to the Hilton side but nevertheless absolutely gorgeous! Inside of the Westin there are some fantastic restaurant and bar options with some areas to hang out on the patio and enjoy some breathtaking views. ***For some good exercise, follow the path that connects the two resorts via the Ponta Vecchio bridge; The early morning time is the best because the water is still calm and you can get some fantastic reflection photographs on your way!

Yelp
I absolutely love it here just to walk around. It's the best at night though just because the whole place is lit up and it makes you feel like you're walking around through a whole new town. We like to come here for our date nights and just explore.

Julie F.

Yelp
We are Hilton Diamond members and HGV owners and this is by far the worst hotel we have ever stayed at. Neither Hilton or the resort post any updates on their website. Casino has been closed for around two years, according to staff the ferry caught fire a couple of months ago and no longer runs, most shops were not open during our stay and the pool and spa were drained. The furniture in our room was outdated and all scratched up. The air conditioning in our room did not work correctly. We were so hot most of the time and we couldn't get our room to cool down. I went down to the front desk to inquire about a pool table, ping pong table or to see if they had any games and the staff answered me rudely with just a "No". Our grandchildren were totally bored. We ended up heading back to Vegas during the days to have something to do. What a waste of 50,000 points a night. Never again. If I could give them a 0 stars I would. Do yourself a favor and stay in Vegas. Extremely disappointed in Hilton.

Yelp
We Lived here for over 3 years.Hmmm and yelp is for honesty??? I have to be honest. I give this place a solid "yellow" 3 stars. It is one of those things where you lived somewhere...but you wish you never did because you want to give it a five "stars" but you just can't. Like I said in my last review, pleasing to the eye buttt!!! This place is like finding out Santa Claus is not real. !!! I will say no more!

Yelp
For those of you who were around a few years back you may remember what a delight the Village at Lake Las Vegas was. Starbuck's, the Ritz, great restaurants and shops, a lively casino. Then along came 2008 and it all went away in bankruptcy. I live here and have witnessed a classy dream turn into a pathetic business proposition whose sole objective is making lots of money. Today we have far more houses than the roads can handle and nowhere to find essential residential retail services in less than a 20 minute drive. Don't waste your time on the newly revitalized village: it's a PR effort designed to sell more homes. The entrepreneurial food is poor to mediocre and the shopping is a bunch of mom and pops trying to make ends meet. No quality name brands to be found here. Not much ambience either since the landscaping is half dead and poorly maintained. For a good laugh, come on over and walk our village. For a pleasant shopping and dining experience I suggest Green Valley or Summerlin. You'll probably save on gas as well.

Yelp
We rented a condo from an Air B&B for 5 days and 4 nights at the Viera Residency and it was wonderful! Our host was great but overall the location was perfection. The ambiance was just so nice and relaxing, lots of great places to eat or just have some drinks. The pools were nice (sadly the spa was still closed) big and clean with a lot of space to sit and lounge. On the weekend there is a live band and mornings and sunsets are beautiful. We honestly can't wait to come back, it's a little piece of paradise.

Yelp
This place is extremely underrated with impecable views of mountains. Stop by here if you want a moment away from the hustle and bustle of the Strip. They have a nice little grocery store too, with big avocados. The water sports are reasonably priced but I didn't end up doing it. It is located close to Lake Mead too.

Sydni Y.

Yelp
The rooms are always clean and very well put together. The entrance is amazing with their waterfalls and other outdoor decorations. The employees are very friendly and suit all needs of their customers. Locals who Live in Las Vegas can use the pool freely. Ask more question at front desk. The pool and water slide is always clean and the lake is just beautiful. There is an adult and kid pool, for calmness. Their food is amazing at the bar. Would most defiantly recommend

Yelp
Awesome place to visit for sure they play live music bands on the weekend and we had a blast at the BONIFIDE REGGAE BAND these great musicians were great performers. The surrounding of the lake is beautiful. Variety of food as well. Nice time with family highly recommend to visit here.

Yelp
Love this place! The Duffy electric boat rentals are super fun. While not a luxury liner and you can't jump in the water, it is the perfect setting for a slow drift around the lake. Hot days and cool breezes make this the perfect little getaway for an hour or two.
google avatar

Melissa C.

Yelp
After being out to the Lake only two or three times this year, I've finally come to the realization that the casino will likely never reopen. Wah! And the shuttering of many of the stores and/or restaurants can attest to that. Even many of the popular ones have called it quits, except for Sonrisa Grill, Auld Dubliner, Sunset & Vines, Rocky Mountain Choc. Factory, Luna Rossa and a few new restaurants such as Lobstermans. The hotels (Westin, Hilton and that other one) are still hanging in there, which is kind of surprising to me. I still recommend coming out here to partake in some lake related activities or walk, bike, rollerblade and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Hopefully there will still be some restaurants open to enjoy afterwards!
google avatar

Yelp
Lake Las Vegas is beautiful on it's own. Without the water sports. But so is a field of grass without trees. Yet, trees make the place majestic. This is the effect Water Sports added to this place: Majestic. The staff was very friendly, I had a bunch of teenagers staffed there school me on how to operate a paddle board but they were super cool about it. Little whippersnappers. If you have the choice between a paddle board and the boat with pedals, absolutely do the paddle board. The experience can't even be compared. Unless literally your only goal is to kick back and relax in the water... then, well there is that haha. At sunset it is gorgeous, at night it is stunning, I will be back for the day time. Key point: I WILL BE BACK! :D

Yelp
The first time went to see this resort with my family, loved it so much. Beautiful, seeing all the boats, people walking around having great time. Best restaurants and concerts, takes 30 minutes to get there car. Close to golf club, waterfall, and the lake.

Yelp
Really like this location for its seclusion from the craziness of the strip. I know that it was mostly abandon when the casino close down but it's showing signs of New Life. I've yet to dine at any of the restaurants in the area but the layout is very nice and elegant. I often go here for a change in scenery and to get out of the Concrete Jungle. They have recently added a new grocery store as well as a larger variety of Watersports. They are starting to make this place Swank again. The only gripe I would have with my last trip there was that there was no more carp in the water. I know there not very well received by many but it was something fun for the kids to look at. Be sure to check this place out it's only a short drive from the strip area it has free parking and it's quiet and tranquil not to mention you could to see water in the desert which is always a welcome sight.

Yelp
This was such a nice little vacation outside of the city, walked around, had some Mexican food and then found a nice live Jazz Band performing. It's February so a bit cold, but people were swimming in the heated pool, and lots of fire pits to sit by. I really want to go again.
google avatar

Lauren H.

Yelp
Came to check this place out. Online looked super nice and I was excited for a day adventure. Drove the 30 mins out here and when I got here everything with closed or out of business.. even the doors to the casino were chained up and locked! I was very confused by the whole thing. I'm hoping maybe because it's now October so it's technically "off season" even though it was 95 degrees out. I'll try to come back maybe next summer, but for now I don't recommend coming here. I stayed for maybe 10-15 mins walking around and realized there's nothing to do so I left.
google avatar

Yvonne V.

Yelp
I come here just to get away for a bit from the City. It's so serene, it gives me a piece of mind to just sit looking out over the lake. It's so worth the drive, I will be checking out some of the shops, Restaurants and events soon. Stayed tuned.

Yelp
We spent January 18th at Lake Las Vegas resort...absolutely beautiful place.. ..the hotel is gorgeous. .the room is gorgeous and spacious..the furnishings are very comfortable and high quality. .the bed is incredibly comfortable with the best pillows I have ever found in a hotel..the service has been decent, and nice staff..the entire place is very well built (quiet in the room)..@$195 out the door, I think a good value..only a couple negatives : only one electrical outlet at either nite stands to charge your phone..and a child height toilet..about as comfortable as sitting on a coffee can..c'mon management this place is high end, and i don't see any small children running around, get a real toilet ..all in all though a very good experience

Yelp
Four stars for combined two visits.. My first visit is in 2014 when I was filming a music video. No one bothered us and everything ran smoothly! Second time around was today for the firework show we were supposed to attend. Looks like we're watching the show from the car...there's a huge line from Lake Mead Pkwy all the way in! Hopefully the show is worth it... Update: 5 minute show. Not worth it but good memories...4 stars still stands!
google avatar

Kathy R.

Yelp
No one has reviewed this yet? Seriously?!? I love the scenery at lake las vegas. That alone gives this place four stars, as im a loc and its really nice to get away from the lights & noise & forget youre in vegas once in a while. There are several excellent restaurants within walking distance here, the rooms and ameneties are beautiful, and ive had excellent service in the past. So why not five stars? Because this place is a GHOST TOWN. There is SO much potential here to market to locals instead of to snooty rich out-of-towners. The only time i see it full here is july 4th. Who packs it in? LOCAL FAMILIES. If yall want more customers, shift your focus. Put in a playground. Have family friendly festivals (nolt just wine tastings). Allow kids to play on your beach. And for gods sake, add a convenience store so people can buy things like diapers, cigarettes and advil. Rebrand yourselves people. Id hate to see this place go under, but it will if you dont get your heads out of your you-know-whats.
google avatar

Meilani M.

Yelp
Its a cute place! Love that they have small events here. I wish they had a little bit more of a restaurant selection but its not a bother.
google avatar

Sarah C.

Yelp
The area includes several hotels and casinos including the Monte Lago Village Resort, the Westin Lake Las Vegas Resort, the Hilton Lake Las Vegas, and Casino MonteLago. This is a gem in the desert. The resort was built to resemble a village on the lake somewhere in Tuscany, but it was not busy when I went. Most people out of town never heard of Lake Las Vegas. Saturday nights, from May to October, they have free concerts such as jazz by the lake; so bring your blanket, bottle of wine and snacks and enjoy. There is Kayaks, jet ski and stand up paddle board to rent.
google avatar

Loren K.

Yelp
I went there to have some photos taken of myself and my boyfriend by a photographer. There were plenty of places for beautiful picture backdrops. There are shops and restaurants sprinkled throughout the grounds. Along with benches, grass, fountains, and gardens to enjoy. There are paths to walk on around the lakes edge. There is also a casino and a hotel on the property. I would suggest checking the Resorts website for updates on activities and events that are happening at the location. I saw couples, families, and groups of friends enjoying the sprawling grounds and peacefulness of the lake while I was there.
google avatar

Bianca M.

Yelp
This is a great weekend get away from the crazy city. It's only 30 minutes out of town but it feels like your in a different country. They have a lot of fun water sports and it's not too pricey. They have a lot of restaurants but most open at night but you still have a good selection during the day. The have Dessert places it's just the best.
google avatar

Rob L.

Yelp
Ghost town!! This place is dead!! Less than 20% of stores/restaurants are open. The staff at the hotels especially Montelago Viera think it's Beverly Hills. Not in the same league, this is Hendertucky.(Henderson, not Las Vegas) 30 min to the strip or $80 taxi and many won't go out there. Shuttle runs seldom. LLV is run down and they have a no can do attitude. They should be kissing tourists and guests ass, not acting bossy when there is only 20 people in the whole village. Definitely rebrand it but the fact is the place is DOOMED. The lake is leaking and it's irreparable. We found something disgusting under our bed, and lots of bugs in the room. It's our fault, we've been here twice and never learned our lesson. 2 strikes your out in this case.
google avatar

Monica H.

Yelp
We visit here when we need daycation. When you live in Vegas, it's nice to have an oasis such as this...a change of scenery... This is also where we come to stand up paddelboard. Also: check out great deals for the Westin. Usually under $100 for 2 people for 1 room + breakfast + 2 welcome drinks. Nice.
google avatar

Gyaih H.

Yelp
We were travelling on our honeymoon and from the moment we set foot on the property we were greeted by an amazing view, quickly followed by a wonderful greeting from our host. Its location is fantastic, just outside of Vegas, far enough away to have the peace and relaxation . It truly is a beautiful place to stay. G and G

D R.

Yelp
Used to so beautiful, now most of shops are closed, grounds are dirty, there are spider nests all over the place, dead grass. It's dead as a door nail. It's not very nice. Hope they get it together soon.

Yelp
So much to do here. Beautiful. Perfect place for a little romantic getaway ^.^ so much to explore.

Yelp
Lake Las Vegas is perhaps the most beautiful destination in the Clark County area. Many people choice Lake Las Vegas as the place for their wedding ceremony. I is indeed one of a kind, with it's elegant hotels, quaint shops lining the cobble stone walkway down to the marina. It is a wonderful place to sit along the lake to listen to bands play, or to ice state during the winter months. Lake Las Vegas is beautifully decorated for the holidays, and is just a must place to go with visitors, family, and friends. Don't forget your camera.

Kelly B.

Yelp
Love this beautiful resort community. Live the paddle boards. Good good. It is so clean and peaceful. Great place to go for walks on the trails with your dog. I love the water fall in the entryway. Great palace to take beautiful pictures and watch the ducks.
