Reception staff were so lovely and friendly. The hotel seemed to be in a fantastic position to attend the lakes. The room, however, was horrendous. Extremely small and claustrophobic. The room was also extremely dated. We were given a room overlooking the pool. No air-conditioning and no windows to open. A very poxy and loud fan that stopped us getting to sleep. The bathroom was so small you had to wriggle around the door to get to the toilet. The restaurant was friendly and very helpful. Good quality food. Breakfast was very nice. Not good value for the money, especially when you take into consideration you have to pay extra for breakfast.

My husband and I spent a very enjoyable two nights in Lake Louise Inn recently. The service was five star with very helpful and attentive staff.||It is the highest permanent settlement in Canada at 1,600 m (5,200 feet), where humans and animals co-exist harmoniously with local wildlife. We were surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and watched ground squirrels foraging from our balcony.||Accommodation is in one of five blocks within the complex that are reached by walking outdoors to them. We were in Block 5. Our room had a very comfortable bed, TV, internet and balcony. Kitchen facilities included a microwave and fridge, and there was a small (quite expensive) marketplace for essentials on-site in the main lodge. The small but perfectly adequate bathroom had a bath and powerful shower, and toiletries were provided.||Facilities on-site included bookable mini golf, a welcome pool and hot tub/jacuzzi and self service laundry facilities. The whole place was very clean and the grounds were very well kept. There is ample parking for cars and RV's. Sadly there was no real view of the night sky as outside lights are left on overnight for health and safety purposes. Access to Lake Louise and Moraine lake are heavily restricted and managed. We booked a shuttle bus ($70) to Lake Louise (15min away) with the efficient reception staff.||We ate in both restaurants. The food and service in Legends was top quality, and the Pizza place provided seated and takeaway dining. The substantial buffet breakfast in Legends cost $28pp (inc tax) and was worth it as it really set us up for the day. A la carte breakfast options are also available.||We would highly recommend this property to fellow travellers who value space and nature over more urban locations.||

We loved our stay at the Lake Louise Inn! The rooms are fantastically big! We had a king sized bed in the loft and the boys could sleep in their own room in bunk beds - They also had their own bathroom! We had a nice kitchen which was great for hiking food, etc The breakfast buffet is standard fair but easy and quick There’s Starbucks and the Pizza place upstairs is pretty good. The indoor pools and hot tubs are a great break for the kids. The location is perfect. You can walk to town for groceries, walk to post hotel and shops

We got a renovated room and noticed the following issues: 1) outside doors are like paper and have gaps, it also closes very loudly as some people just release their doors, so it smacks hard and our bed on a second floor was vibrating from someone releasing their doors on first/second floors. So doors need to be improved and have softeners for closing. 2) we stayed in renovated room with 2 king sized beds, which was a cheaper option than taking a single bed which does not make sense to me, shows that hotel is running inefficiently. 3) price was CAD 2.8k for 5 nights, so 560 cad per night or around 360 euros per night, which is a lot for what you get or for what you do not get. Yet it was still one of the cheapest options around the are that is semi-okay. Breakfast was not included in that price, which is 27 cad per person (when you pay that much, breakfast should be included). 4) renovated room was super simple, we stayed in 5126, there was a huge sound of pipes when someone would use shower below us. Fridge was making a lot of noise as well, would start buzzing in early morning hours. 5) room service would start going around from early morning around 8 o’clock. While not an issue for us, since we would be up at 7, there were a lot of doors each day with sign "do not disturb", as 8 o'clock room service seems a bit too early. 6) People living above us were walking, running and making a lot of noise. Since not only doors are from paper, but the floors/ceilings too. Overall, I understand why this is only a 3 start hotel, hence the price is too high. There are a lot of improvements, renovations to be done to this place.

We stayed at the Lake Louise Inn for five days in mid June with our adult son and it was great! The room we stayed in had a balcony with a great view of the mountains. We used the kitchen for breakfast and some dinners which helped us reduce costs of the trip. The restuarant at the Inn was great..the pizza was fabulous. Also, we used the mountain bikes to go to Mud Lake (look up that trail!) and also, the Roam bus picks up frequently to get to the lake for $2 CAD. ||We would stay again, and maybe get a chance to play miniature golf or go for a swim! ||We had a room for three people and my husband and I got the Murphy bed and my son got the sofa bed pull out. The mattress was a bit soft for me, but all in all a good experience. ||And the housekeeping service was top notch. Each day, the room was cleaned and dishes done for us.

Our experience was exceptional, hotel is centrally located in the heart of the lake louise village. We were provided with everything we needed for a perfect vacation. Rooms could have been slightly cleaner, if I had to really find something "negative". Otherwise great!

I'm rating based on my experience in our pet friendly double room in building 4. Other reviews mention some of the differences between room types that are important to consider if you are booking. Main issues I had with the rooms are same as everyone else in reviews have said. The rooms are very hot at night and make it very difficult to sleep. You get one small fan and a window. But for whatever reason they are just super hot. There's no exhaust fan in the bathrooms so that makes it super humid when you shower. There's only one lamp in the room we were in and no overhead light. For us with a dog, the room was very cramped and we could just barely fit his crate in the room. Also there was no fridge or microwave in the room which also is challenging for extended stays. The amenities on site were good with a few restaurants, a pool and 3 hot tubs which I appreciated. So I think if you are going to stay here, think about space you need and the temperature issues in the room. The room we stayed is badly in need of upgrades but I suppose they aren't able to do that currently. We did appreciate that they are dog friendly. Gave us a nice welcome gift for our dog and a dog origami out of towels. Housekeeping was good and consistent.

The Inn has a very dated appearance. The rooms look like they haven't been re-done in over a decade. ||People should know that the Inn is isolated. There are no real dining alternatives nearby, and there's only a small shopping mall about 15 minutes' walk away (with a coffee cafe and liquor store). ||I was dismayed at Management's unreasonably rigid response to my request for ONE extra hour check-out time (from 11 to 12) . They claimed that a large party was coming in, and they needed to service the room. However, when we left there was no large party in the lobby, and our room hadn't been made up. ||Even worse, the only person who spoke with us was the desk clerk. Although she was empathic, she was simply repeating what her manager told her to say. I thought the manager was a coward who refused to talk with us face-to-face. Shame on him/her!||Restaurant food was so-so and expensive. This is a problem since there aren't any alternatives within walking distance. We ended up walking across the street to the hostel for our breakfasts.
