"Lake Nona Wave Hotel is close to the airport in a modern neighborhood setting and well-positioned for hopping between the theme parks and downtown. The property has an incredible art collection, and the Michelin Guide-recommended, Latin-inspired BACÁN restaurant is right off its lobby." - Terry Ward

My daughter and I loved staying here. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. I love the art, we enjoyed playing games in the lobby, and they have the best toilets with heated seats and bidet! It reminded us of when we were in Japan. We also loved the automatic curtains and relaxed lighting settings. The gym was lovely. And we enjoyed walking through the sculpture park onsite. I will definitely stay here again.

Had a phenomenal time staying at Lake Nona Wave Hotel. Not only is the property beautiful, but the way they’ve decorated with beautiful art pieces make it an even greater experience. The rooms were spacious, & cozy. The on-sight restaurants were some of the best food I’ve ever had. The sculpture garden is gorgeous. I can’t say enough about how much I loved this place!

We had a nice Anniversary staycation here, and really enjoyed it. Everything we needed was at the hotel. Our standard room had a western / sunset view, with Toto smart toilets. We enjoyed the bar for drinks, then dinner at Bacan (delicious food and exceptional service). Afterwards we sat in the Living Room with our wine and enjoyed live music. The next morning we used the 3rd floor gym, which was well equipped and had a nice view of sculpture gardens. Highly recommend this hotel.

Google
Great spot for Florida residents looking for a staycation. The lobby's decor gives the hotel a unique and distinctive vibe. While the atmosphere is quiet during the day, it comes alive at night, with guests enjoying drinks at the bar and the lively ambiance. The location also boasts Michelin-starred restaurants, so if that interests you, be sure to make a reservation. The rooms are incredibly relaxing. My family even spent the whole day resting after breakfast. My husband was especially impressed by the Japanese toilet, so... now we’re thinking about getting one! Due to the cold weather, we didn’t get to enjoy the pool, but we took a peek, and it's beautiful. Hopefully, we can return in the summer to experience it fully. Personally, I loved the gym and the housekeeping staff, I wish I could take her home. Overall, I wouldn’t consider this a traditional family destination, being Florida where We have some other places like Disney or Universal, but with Lake Nona hosting many winter events, it adds to the appeal for families looking for something unique.

If you’re looking for luxury then say less. Enjoyed my birthday getaway staying here. Everything was beautiful and the rooms were very spacious. They get 20/10 for their bidet toilets and spacious shower. Will definitely visit again when I am staying in Orlando again

Google
The accommodations and service were fantastic! I was here through a corporate event and experienced excellent food service and hospitality through each person. The most talked about item was the fancy toilets with heated seats! The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of space to move around.

Stayed one night and we will be back. The customer service was top tier from start to finish. Our room was amazing and you can’t even hear the planes flying over! This hotel is luxurious and classy! Multiple Instagram worthy corners and booths, the sculpture garden is amazing daytime and nighttime. Kinsey was the star though, she showed us our room and sent a bottle of champagne for our wedding anniversary and my husband’s birthday!! Definitely will be back and worth the 4 star hotel price!!

Google
This was our 12 th Anniversary The property was beautiful!!!|Our room was clean and beautiful. Loved the technology in the room.| The restaurant was beautiful and the food was great. The staff was super friendly. It requires more that one day to really enjoy the property. So many things to do. We will be back for our 13 Anniversary!

Yelp
Although we have not stayed at this hotel because we are locals, we have been to the restaurants and the lobby bar, the grounds at golf events, and today with a day pass at the pool This pool is perfect, and its stylish like the rest of the hotel we've seen Poolside service is excellent Food and drink are pricey, as expected, but that goes with the territory

Yelp
I stayed here for 4 nights due to a corporate event. +lobby has unique decor +rooms are spacious and well laid out - no desk but they have a mini table (round) but it's hard to eat and work there +windows have an opaque feature you can adjust (but you have to scan a qr code) + toto bidet toilets with auto open, auto close /flush (I felt it could have had an info card to understand the buttons. The panel is nice but also took a bit to understand images vs function and how to turn off) +lighting in the room is calming. They have a reflex setting which dims all the lights. I wished there was a super relaxed setting to dim or turn off half. +the toilet has a little light on the side which serves as a night light +the sink and toilet areas are separated +the sink area has a motion detector which is great to avoid added light early in the am +on-site Haven restaurant is a really cool spot. The decor is so creative. I felt transported. (Caution- they undercooked their burgers. So my medium rare was uncooked (blah)) +the food (catering) was really good. They had daily soups and EVERY SINGLE ONE WAS AMAZING! They did a good job for the Lunch buffets identifying allergens. +walking distance to two coffee shops and a few other things +great wide sidewalks if you want to get some miles in. (Watch for shakes near the water). I walked 3 miles and could've gone a lot farther. +close to the airport. 30 min from Disney Springs + they have these little shuttle busses but there is no detail, no schedule.... I saw them in the parking garage but never could find out how to use them. I only saw one running around during the 5 days I was onsite.

Yelp
This hotel is nuts, coined the most technologically advanced hotel in the world. I didn't satay. I only had a business dinner at Bacan (Latin American), one of the hotel's four restaurants. The hotel is covered in View Glass with AI-driven tint adjustments that changes tint throughout the day, offering a better circadian rhythm leading to better sleep. Equipped with smart beds, each guest can control the firmness and temperature of their bed. You can even set an alarm on the bed that will gently rock you awake in the morning. The lobby is technology forward with a huge wall adorned with over 300 modern and contemporary art pieces. Will definitely stay out here when convenient.

Mileena C.

Yelp
This hotel should already have 5 stars because that's what they deserve. Me and my friends celebrated my bachelorette here and we were blown away, just by the decor of the Lobby along with the funky elevator themes. It was the best experience. We also ate at Haven which was a chef's kiss! The food was beyond our expectations. Thank you Wave hotel!

A'kiesha D.

Yelp
This is a beautiful destination in Lake Nona FL...sitting amongst the sculptures in the sculpture garden oasis is a treat for guests and locals alike!! A must see!!

Yelp
The Wave hotel catches your eye the second you see the area. It's fun atmosphere as soon as you walk in welcomes you.

Yelp
We stopped in this hotel after having dinner at Chroma and enjoyed a drink here as well as exploring the various levels of this beautiful hotel. It is a feast for the eyes. We sat at the bar across from Bacan, the main restaurant on the first level. Next to the bar is this grand staircase with seating on the side, complete with pillows for relaxation (see picture). We toured the various event rooms and went to the second level where Haven is located, which is another restaurant. There is also a separate lounge area in Haven, which had great music and fun people. The decor is amazing on every level. We decided we will plan to book an overnight "Staycation" here in the coming months. Once we do, I'll update my review. It is just a great environment with plenty to enjoy, including the back yard sculptures and landscape design.

Yelp
This hotel is so eclectic and cool! I had an amazing time staying here for a tech conference and I had never been to this sort of Orlando before. The lobby is floor to ceiling covered in different art. The front desk staff was helpful and cheery. I loved the bar/ restaurant upstairs which the whole group went to for a happy hour. There is also a beautiful lawn area in the back with lots of art installations. The whole hotel and room are bursting with color! The area is awesome too because you can walk to many restaurants and bars right on the same block. Overall it was a great stay!

Alex M.

Yelp
TL;DR: a little on the pricey side, but excellent amenities, with a nice pool, great restaurants, plenty of complimentary self parking (or valet if you prefer), great proximity to other activities, such as Boxi Park, free bicycles and autopiloted carts you can rent to ride around and explore. This hotel felt like the hotel of the future. Very few aspects of the room were analog in design. Many of the lights in the room automatically turn on when you're close. The toilet seat automatically raises when you enter the water closet. The privacy screen and blackout curtains open/close at the push of a button. Nearly everything in the room can be controlled via the room's tablet. We came here to celebrate our anniversary and they were kind enough to leave us a complimentary bottle of California Champagne (from Champagne, CA) and a hand written note with balloons! The only downside I really found with the automatic features was that getting up to use the bathroom in the middle of the night took us past one of the proximity lights in the room, which was unexpectedly bright in the middle of the night. There may be a feature to snooze the autolighting, but we didn't think to check at the time since we were half asleep. There were some great amenities here, and we didn't even get to really make use of them all unfortunately. The pool was nice, and they provide some tubes and floating loungers, along with direct service for drinks and food from Haven. They have some bicycles that you can rent via the from desk to ride around the area and explore. There are automated mini taxis (like between a smart car and a golf cart) that you can use to go between specific stops via an app. Staying here also provides you with access to the Lake Nona Performance Club during your stay, which I'm told includes some spa services, indoor courts for tennis and pickleball, a gym, etc. Sadly, we didn't have time for to check out the LNPC, but we've heard only good things. Most importantly (for me) is that The Wave Hotel is home to two great restaurants and is walking distance from a few more. Within Wave is Bacán (one of our personal favorite upscale restaurants) and Haven. Less than a mile away you can also find Chroma, and Bosphorus, as well as Boxi Park for a food truck type experience and live music in the evenings. I should note that aside from the items noted above in addition to Drive Shack a few miles down the road, there isn't much else to do in this area yet, but judging from the nearby construction, that may soon change! The Wave Hotel is definitely worth checking out!

Brian S.

Yelp
A beautiful hotel with great rooms, fantastic dining, and amazing staff. Andres and Nikko were welcoming and helped us with our luggage and the car. Taylor on the front desk was a delight. Our servers at the pool and the restaurants (Briana, Braulio, and Rodrigo) were wonderful. Theresa kept our suite clean and fully stocked with coffee and water. We had our dog with us and she enjoyed the stay as much as we did since everyone was so nice.

Max S.

Yelp
The hotel is different than any place you've probably stayed. It's fresh, clean with a unique but a youthful vibe. We enjoyed our dinner at Bacan. The service was on point. The awesome part was no kids, just adults having a good time.

Chris P.

Yelp
State of the art hotel in Lake Nona and Orlando area! Great location and staff! Nice rooms with updated amenities! The hotel is kind of busy especially in the lobby area. Many people at the hotel for events and parties, primarily in the evening. The elevator can be a little crowded as well. It all depends on timing, evenings and on weekends, can get busy. On-site restaurants are located in the hotel. The hotel itself does not have a gift shop/store on site to buy water etc. There is a gym within walking distance at the Lake Nona Performance Club. The hotel is also in walking distance of some great restaurants! To note, the hotel is under a flight path and you can hear outside music, I recommend playing some white noise to sleep!

Yelp
This artsy hotel lobby and garden with sculptures was a feast to my eyes. I went late New Year's evening to check out this hotel as I was in the area. Very pretty hotel to go to for a place to have relaxing brunch, dressed up dinner or casually have drinks at although I haven't tried their food. Worth checking out even if you just wanna take a stroll at the garden and get a drink inside. There's even a cute photo op area to sit at near the stairway above the bar. Can't wait to have lunch and or dinner here with 1 of my besties.

Katherine F.

Yelp
Me and my husband came here for the "valentine's day" pop up on Feb 7th. When we arrived there was nothing there besides this light up sign. We then proceeded to grab a drink at the bar and after waiting about 20 minutes, no one greeted us, we ended up leaving and walking over to boxi park and grabbing pizza, where we had 10/10 service.

Angie S.

Yelp
I went for an event and I was in awe of how beautifully aesthetic this hotel is...the pictures don't give it justice. We went for an event for influencers and they had light bites (ceviches and an ice cream station) to eat - both were delicious. The cocktails were sponsored by Bacardi. Great service and fabulous hotel. Will definitely be back to experience the pool and other restaurants in the hotel.

Lawrence U.

Yelp
This is a small hotel, modern, new and md priced. Considered modern and upscale. I believe it is overpriced for the area that it is in. It is clean and the staff - friendly.

Nenita B.

Yelp
Clean & great service. Nick & Eve did a great job. Eve is very friendly & attentive.

Christopher P.

Yelp
Such a cool fun hotel! Great restaurants! Great interior vibes! So much to offer! Love the outside art walk! Everything is so unique and different!

Neil P.

Yelp
Such a beautiful hotel. Was at Chroma for a birthday celebration and walked over to the Hotel. They have this beautiful park to walk through.

Maria M.

Yelp
WOW what an incredible hotel! First of all it's so beautiful and aesthetically pleasing inside! The rooms are magical and everything can be controlled by an iPad-- so fancy! The bars are such an amazing vibe day and night! The pool has a Miami feel and they even had a DJ at the pool when we stayed, so fun! Everyone is very friendly and you can tell they want to ensure you have the best stay! Definitely a great place to go on a vacation or staycation! Plus there are so many other bars and restaurants (including Boxi park) within walking distance! Loved our experience here and will definitely be back!

Melyssa F.

Yelp
Did you know that you can go into the hotel without being a guest?! Well you are they have not only a few restaurants inside but they also have the living room bar. You can stay inside or if you have a pup you can enjoy your drink outside in the garden! They have all kinds of sculptures and lots of room to sit outside and enjoy the weather.

Amy P.

Yelp
Five. Stars for this beautiful and upscale hotel. I only stayed here one night to enjoy a few amenities and go to dinner, and I left wanting more. All of the rooms are absolutely spectacular and very much worth the price. The staff is so great and accommodating and the check-in process was very easy. They even provided us reservations to the restaurant upstairs. The room felt so high-tech, and everything was luxurious. From the bathroom, to the bedsheets, to the carpet, it was the best day. I would recommend getting dinner at the Haven restaurant and getting a reservation for the lounge afterwards. There is a DJ and great drinks, it was such a vibe. Every corner you turned in this hotel was either beautiful or functional, or both! You can tell the designer put a lot of intention in every single detail of this hotel, and I appreciated it.

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Beautiful decor. It is a very upscale establishment and we felt sophisticated and important just being there. A great spot to come for some drinks and chillin in a cozy atmosphere.

Lara T.

Yelp
I did not stay at this hotel, so I cannot speak to the rooms but I walked around the lobby and the first floor. They have an amazing sculpture garden out back. The staff were so friendly and inviting when we came in and we just said we wanted to look around in there. They said absolutely and you can go out back to the sculpture garden. They have several restaurants as well as conference space at this hotel. It's very artistic, and absolutely beautiful. I will definitely consider staying here if I'm in the Orlando area again.

DeeAnn G.

Yelp
Love the vibe in the living room lounge! Very eclectic decor in the lobby/lounge area. Great drinks, and live music! Lots of fun and comfy seating. Haven't stayed in the hotel itself, but have eaten at Haven a couple of times. Food very good and nice ambiance. Service was great and everyone is very nice!

Anthony G.

Yelp
I've tried quite a few of the so called great hotels in Orlando. Hyatt Regency, GayLord, The Grand Bohemian, AC hotel, Hardrock, Doubletree & many more. This Hotel has to be the best one over all of them. * price point for square footage is way better * self parking is complimentary * no resort fee * 2 great restaurants on site (Bacan, Haven) * Sculpture Garden in the back of the hotel- beautiful art * Clean * I had the 1 bedroom king suite- beautiful view; huge balcony; toto toilets, digital room, Ice-maker; fridge; huge room, 1.5 bathrooms; an IPad that controls lighting, curtains, tv & temperatures in the room. * great entertainment on site; live performances * an automated transport vehicle to take people to the town center * sweet and friendly staff * mobile app is friendly (you can chat with staff or make request through app) * decor is luxurious, artistic and classy I guarantee you are getting a better experience, quality and overall satisfaction with this hotel. I know they are still fairly new. Drawbacks- * the airport is near by & depending on what time of the day, you can hear the planes over the hotel if you're outside or on the balcony. * pool- overly crowed. Not sure if this hotel will maintain their current status but I hope so because this will be my first choice everytime.

Sydney W.

Yelp
This hotel is truly a gem. The decor is incredible, super modern and interesting with lots of color. Front desk service was great and the room was super clean. We loved all of the high tech touches including smart room controls for lights, curtains, AC, as well as an automatic heated Japanese toilet. Also the bed was super comfortable, which was a bonus. Pool area was very clean and bright, and all of the servers at the Haven bar were attentive. The food was one of the best parts of our experience... Bacán restaurant is a must visit if you are staying here. Even the pool bar Haven had incredible food. This hotel is awesome for anyone looking for a "staycation" or for out of town travelers wanting a location central to the airport and theme parks.

Yelp
My first time at the Wave Hotel for a book club meeting. First, thank goodness for a great parking structure right next to the hotel, we didn't have far to walk. The entrance to the hotel is beautiful, once inside, there are several seating areas with comfortable seats and of course the bar. We also had a couple of drinks and enjoyed the live music while we waited for the rest of our group. The drinks were a bit on the pricey side, but we enjoyed them. The hotel is beautiful and modern, and the staff was very friendly. We did not get a chance to see the sculpture garden as our time was limited but hope to be back soon.

Sandra D.

Yelp
Photos after the wedding of Dalia and Danny Aiello at The Wave Hotel. The venue was perfect for the beginning of their honeymoon. They loved the hotel and location was perfect for the after party.

Mike P.

Yelp
What a great hotel for us, although we only stayed one night this will be the hotel we come back to each time we come to Orlando. The food at the hotel was delicious we had wings, calamari and sandwiches. The bar at night is lively, we had a great time. The music was at the perfect level, the severs were attentive, remembered our drink preferences and even suggested a few new things. The rooms are modern and very comfortable. Lights go off automatically during the night and in the middle of the night if you need get to the bathroom they light the way.

Hanny L.

Yelp
I am so impressed with this hotel! Aside from being colorful and full of art, there's also a beautiful sculpture garden, which is absolutely free to walk through. They also have activities such as yoga from time to time and they are situated in a place, which allows you to walk to the Lake Nona center with all the restaurants.

Jeff C.

Yelp
After hearing from management, and reading all the great reviews, we decided to give The Wave another visit. This time they did not disappoint. Service was top notch. Food and drinks were excellent. True mixologists behind the bar. Mexcal drink was phenomenal, and the old fashion was the best I ever had. Our bad experience was a one off. We will return.

Mayra A.

Yelp
Amazing views, excellent pool, and close to Lake Nona Town Center where you can enjoy every weekend with live music and concerts

Amy K.

Yelp
Such a lovely hotel with a chic atmosphere and delicious, refined foods! Must try Haven Kitchen and Haven Lounge; both delicious! Haven Lounge offers small plates, so it was perfect for our pre-dinner cocktail while we enjoyed listening to the live music playing. Over at Haven Kitchen, we tried a few other appetizers (the scallops were our favorite) before indulging in some entrees and more cocktails. We spent a few hours here and will definitely be back!

Yelp
I recently stayed at this brand new hotel for two nights and unfortunately, I wish I had better things to say about my experience. While there were a few positives, such as the nice decor and friendly staff, there were several negative aspects that left me disappointed. First and foremost, the main lobby had a horrible odor that was hard to ignore. I couldn't help but wonder why the hotel uses such heavy deodorants in the air that make it difficult to breathe, especially for guests with respiratory issues. It's definitely something that needs to be addressed. The pool area was also disappointing, with dirty floors that looked like they hadn't been washed in days. The stains from the previous day were still there, making it feel unclean and sticky. The outdoor plants didn't seem to be well-maintained either. Moreover, the outside sidewalk next to the statue garden was simply filthy, with the same cigarette butts left sitting there for three days. It was unsightly and potentially hazardous to guests' health. I don't think this should be the case for a brand new hotel. Finally, I was disappointed to learn that the hotel didn't offer fresh orange juice. As a guest visiting Florida, I was expecting a glass of fresh OJ, not something out of a box. This may seem like a small detail, but it's something that adds to the overall experience of staying at a hotel. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed by this hotel, which may explain why it seemed so empty. It's clear that the hotel needs to step up its game and make improvements, especially when it comes to cleanliness and guest experience. Hopefully, they will get a better manager who can address these issues and ensure that guests have a more enjoyable stay.

Nicole J.

Yelp
Okay so super excited to be one for the first guests here for their launch and boy this hotel doesn't disappoint! I'm a sucker for architecture and decor and this place has plenty. The interior is so fun and upbeat very inviting and so so clean! So first parking is free in a garage across the street from the hotel. Also before my stay I called to ask about car charging as I didn't see it on the website - I spoke with Ilene in reservations and she was the absolute sweetheart! They do have EV charging on the second floor about 20 cars and free! There is also valet. Upon walking in you are greeted by what they refer to The Living Room. Very relaxing and welcoming area full of color, art, and games! Right now you have to use a key card to access your room but future will be a virtual key card on your phone so you never have to go to the front desk at check in. Opening the room I was in love instantly! I reserved the King Bed with was a huge room with a giant floor to ceiling window that also tints based off the sun which was a nice touch. The interior of the room is a mix of patterns and colors - very modern. Integrated lighting around the bed and in the bathroom is beautiful it softly turns on as you walk near it. The entire room is controlled by a iPad which has tons of functions such as: temperature, room service, tv control, activities in the area, lighting, and even bed time stories for little ones. Oh and the toilet! Okay I'm obsessed heated toilets that open when you approach it! Im sold! The bed is a pillowy dream that I didn't want to leave. Also the headboard also has a control panel for the lights. The pool is on the second floor and you feel like you are in Miami! Beautiful pops of colors on the cabanas and blue painted palm trees! I snagged a cabana with has very comfortable sectional, refrigerator, tv, and a table! There is pool service for food and drinks and towel service. The pool isn't the biggest but very nice and a comfortable temperature! While I didn't try the restaurants on site I did stop by to see the interior and just wow incredible. Looks like a page ripped out of restoration hardware. Greenery , open light, splashes of color and patterns. Well done! Boxi park is a short walk with tons of options for food. I also was able to attend the farmers market located across the street from boxi park which is on Saturdays. My only hiccup was after returning from a date with hubby or keys no longer worked and I couldn't reach anyone on the chat service they offer so we ended up having to go back downstairs to get them deactivated. While it didn't take incredibly long to get them back working it was just an inconvenience and I was ready to lay down. But overall - this is my new favorite hotel and will be back. Perfect staycation hotel for a quick getaway with my husbands

Mel Z.

Yelp
I had been planning to take a solo stacation and came across the Wave Hotel and I am so glad I decided to book a stay! I saw it on TV and browsed the website and I really liked what it offered. I love new hotels and I love the fact that they are a new, modern, eco-friendly, innovative, unique, elegant and support the arts. The valet personnel was nice, friendly, attentive. The front check in staff, they could be a bit more attentive. It was hit and miss as to the service provided and sometimes they did not know answers to questions or were not that attentive. Not sure if it was because it was during the soft opening phase, but it could definitely be improved. Now for the room... wow! It is as dreamy as you imagine! It was impeccable, the smell was relaxing, the room was set to an amazing temperature and the bed and chairs are super comfy. Loved that you can control the drapery and lights all from the bed controls on the side! Also, there is a tablet were you can ask/chat/request items if you need to and they are pretty responsive. The room has a mini fridge and includes Nespresso coffee with bottled water. It sure is a nice touch There are robes inside the closet (nice and soft) and plenty of towels and toiletries for use. The toilet is pretty cool and it opens up as you walk in, I liked the fact that it had a bidet and that it warmed up the seat the mirror in the bathroom was amazing and the lighting was great to have the make up done on point. The 'nightlight' comes on when you get out of bed and once to enter the bathroom area. A nice touch for sure, but I did not figure out how to keep toto (the toilet) from turning on during the night. Stayed on the 16th floor and the view was amazing (you can see the airplanes from there and Lake Nona too). If you can get a high floor, definitely consider it. The hotel is beautifully decorated from the main entrance, to the restaurants, the rooms and the art garden on the back. Take some time to walk around and explore, it is pretty neat and unique to see. I had a wonderful time at the hotel, my stacation was better than I expected and I wined and dined in a wonderful place with tasty and new and unique options. I will definitely be back in the future and thank you for a wonderful stay!

Yelp
Had dinner at Bacan. Food, service & ambiance was great! Would definitely return. Highly recommended.

Laura P.

Yelp
This place is so fresh and fun! We had been wanting to check it out for awhile and finally made dinner reservations at Bacan on Friday night. The free parking garage right across the street makes it easy and convenient to park without having to valet. The lobby is quirky and artful but still has a classy vibe. There are lots of Instagramable nooks with colorful art and funky installations. There are also lots of spots for intimate seating -- the perfect spot to sit with a small group of friends. The lobby bar is also super inviting, offering a special cocktail and tapas menu. Right next to the bar there are beautiful stairs leading up to the Haven, Wave's Mediterranean restaurant and bar, by the pool. Make sure to check out the outdoor courtyard too. It's a a beautiful green space with lots of trees and fun art installations. Can't wait to come back here for a staycation!

Andrea S.

Yelp
Before dining at BACAN the other night, we explored every innovative corner & took in all of the artful and stylish design. This modernized and sophisticated hotel is the perfect upscale date night or classy girls night Check out the mixology-driven cocktail bars, and/or internationally flavor restaurants like BACÁN.

Erika W.

Yelp
Hotel is amazing! However, I feel they take advantage of the corp folks that come through. To charge $24 for a glass of white wine, when the wine that they are serving is a $12 bottle is absolutely ridiculous. Maybe it was the server...trying to make more? I have stayed at very nice hotels, never seen such absurdity.

Michelle M.

Yelp
Very much enjoyed my stay last night at the Wave in Lake Nona for a special event and would recommend this venue, especially if you're looking to make an impression. The lobby is heavy on the art focus, and the whole location is eye-catching. We finished our event at the rooftop pool/bar area and it was just stunning. Any wedding party lucky enough to have their ceremony here will get super Insta-worthy shots. The staff was both professional and hard-working from what I experienced. The rooms themselves have iPads where you can program just about anything. But that automated toilet - just WOW! I know what my first purchase will be when I hit that lottery (lol). I had to notify the staff my iPad wasn't charged, but they immediately took care of it. Dim the iPad before you go to sleep, though - trust me. Yes, the hotel is near the airport but I hardly noticed that or any other disturbances and my room was also near the elevators. You will pay a pretty penny for your stay here but I would absolutely treat myself to a return. Valet parking is also complimentary during your stay - bonus!

Yelp
Beautiful Hotel. Haven restaurant was very nice. Slow, very very slow bar. May have been bc there was a HUGE private party going on... poorly staffed behind the bar. Ran out of champagne flutes so we were given ours in wine glasses (more pour)! . Will definitely be back again. Very pretty place! 3 stars

Yelp
We stayed here for a trip to Orlando and could not have been more impressed. The rooms were spacious and SO technologically advanced, they even had heated toilet seats! There are two on site restaurants, a colorful pool area, and it's within walking distance to the downtown area. Other perks-- free parking and only 24 minutes to Disney!! We will definitely be back!!

Yelp
Great/new hotel, staff wonderful, the rooms are exquisite, but no coffee in-room (just little Nespresso k-cups) nor an on-site convenience store. The hotel is under a final approach/departure path kitty corner from Orlando Int'l Airport so you hear low-flying airplanes just about all day and night (personally didn't mind but may irritate some guests as the rooms aren't sound-proof). The pool is nice but it almost has a spring break vibe: adults acting like teenagers in cabanas drinking all day and thus peeing in the pool. I mean, one can't drink constantly for five-hours and not use the restroom, right? Perhaps a tad gross. Not ideally designed for families but more so parents and a la cougars getting away from their kids and families. You don't need a room key to get to the pool, which is on the second floor, so non-guests can just take the elevator (sans room key) to the second floor to the pool and restaurants, and just walk right in. No one checks. I don't think it's worth $300-350/night. Paying for the newness and that's about it.

Yelp
We loved our stay! We had a King Balcony Room. All of the elements- design, comfort, tech exceeded all our expectations and more! Front desk was welcoming. All things technical can also be managed with their app, which is so nice! The balcony had a view of 417- with two chairs and a table. The room also had floor to ceiling window view of the art garden below which is so beautiful from all angles. We enjoyed drinks at Haven and The Living Room, and had dinner at Bacán. Every item we ordered was impeccable with presentation. Prices are at New York/LA level.. but felt it was worth it.We highly recommend the scallops, heirloom tomato salad, pork belly, and tres leches, and chocolate cake for dessert! Overall it was a wonderful stay, and would recommend to anyone!

Yelp
Was driving around and found this beautiful glass designed hotel by Lake Nona. Went through the lobby and asked to see their art sculpture garden. It was small, a good 20 minutes to enjoy the view was perfect for this sunny afternoon. Was amazed by the art deco modern design of their lobby. Staff was friendly and greeted me with a smile. I was not checked in the hotel, but they were still pleasant.

Yelp
This hotel has been on my list to check out since they opened last month. I didn't fully explore but wanted to write a quick review b/c it's definitely a special place. Some friends and I were having dinner in the Lake Nona center next door so we walked over after to check out their "Living Room" lobby lounge for some drinks. It's about a 5 minute walk inside the same lot from the Boxi Park area. When you walk up to the hotel you can already feel it's Fabulous vibe. The interior of the lobby and lounge is very art driven but also reminds me of something you would see in a Vegas lobby. When you enter the Living Room lounge their is a massive lit tree right in the center that reminded me of the Bellagio style in Vegas. They also have a multi step level seating area where you sit back and relax and enjoy your drinks with friends. Their is plenty of sofas and cute cubby lounge areas where you can sit on your own with a date or even take your laptop and work. This is an Instagrammers dream! Their are photo ops at every corner with unique lighting, sofas and structures around. Our bartender was friendly and made us Catcher in The Rye which is a whiskey mule. They have a nice list of cocktails and wines as well. From 6-pm- 11pm, the lounge serves small plates. I will definitely be coming back to eat at Bacaan and also ready for the Haven Lounge when they open! I also want to explore the sculpture garden outside during the day. Just wanted to give Lake Nona Hotel a shout out b/c we had a lovely evening in the Living Room lounge and will definitely be back for more!

Yelp
Loved this hotel! It was technology forward, in a helpful way. The service was top-notch. We ate at Bacan twice during our stay, which was awesome. The pool was a great place to relax and pool service was friendly and helpful. I was really glad they included access to the Lake Nona Performance Club. Great fitness center. If we ever live in the area, we will join. This hotel is just a short walk from Boxi Park and other excellent Lake Nona restaurants. The bed was comfortable and really like the lights that came on under the bed when getting out of bed at night. Sometimes I wonder if my standards for service are too high, but this hotel meets and exceeds them. We will be back!

Yelp
Had an excellent stay. Stayed in one of the smaller rooms // not one of the larger suites. The decor is exquisite and kinda reminded me of Savannah College of Art and Design mixed with downtown Fort Lauderdale. (Idk.) The tech is marvelous. I wish I'd gotten to explore the hotel more and appreciate it longer. The only thing that could have been better is if there were more restaurants on Uber Eats that deliver past 11pm, but I know that is asking for a lot haha. I also want to note I experienced the garage at night and I felt safe. It was well lit and did not feel sketchy. I would recommend this hotel. :)
