If you're looking for a desert oasis adventure, Lake Powell Paddleboards and Kayaks is the place to go! We recently went on a boat tour with Captain Max, and it was definitely the highlight of our summer. We got to swim in beautiful little beaches and explore the picturesque canyon. We felt safe and comfortable, and knew that Max would take care of us. The views were breathtaking. Be sure to also check out the shop itself, which has a curated collection of souvenirs, gear, and super cute clothing and jewlery. Lake Powell Paddleboards and Kayaks is 100% a must-do in Page, AZ. Don't miss it!

We kayaked and hiked July 21st 2025. What a great way to experience the canyon. Amazing views around every corner. Our guide Joey, we will call him 5-Star Joey cause he didn’t say he had a nickname yet, brought us to the swimming spot in the canyon where we got to swim and have a snack if we wanted. Informed us about the canyon, how it was formed, wildlife, about the plants you would see along the way. Great trip and would recommend to anyone that can.

We booked our kayak + hike tour through @lakepowellpaddleboards, and I can honestly say it was one of the most breath taking experiences I’ve ever had! 💙✨ Originally, our tour was scheduled for 11AM, but the time was changed to 8AM due to expected high winds. That definitely threw a wrench in our plans since we were driving over 4 hours from our hotel in Phoenix but honestly, it made us feel so good knowing the company was looking out for our safety. They don’t just run tours they really care. Our awesome guide Matt even waited for us at the dock (thank you, Matt!!), but just a heads up if you book with them, BE ON TIME. They’re incredibly professional and organized. They also send out detailed emails with all the info you could possibly need before your excursion directions, check in times, what to bring, what to expect everything. It really helps you feel prepared and confident going in. The excursion itself is strenuous between kayaking and hiking, you’ll cover around 5 miles or more. Make sure you pack plenty of water and snacks! But trust me, it’s worth every step and paddle stroke. Being inside those majestic canyons is absolutely breath taking. The silence, the red rock walls, the pure adventure it’s something I’ll never forget. I would 1000% do it again. 🙌 Highly recommend @lakepowellpaddleboards professional, prepared, and passionate about delivering a truly unforgettable experience.

My husband and I had an incredible time, it was truly the highlight of our trip to Page! Our tour guide, Matt, was fantastic. His passion for his work really came through in the way he connected with us. He was not only knowledgeable and kind but also an outstanding guide from start to finish. Going swimming was also super fun. We highly recommend this experience!

Google
Our family of 4 rented SUPs and the experience was great. The whole process was so easy and fun. We found a beachy area near the mouth of Ice Cream Canyon where we beached and jumped off the cliffs into the water. Water is so clear a d beautiful! Highly recommend.

This is a great way to see Antelope Canyon by kayak or paddle board. My friend and I visited Lake Powell for Memorial Day weekend and tried to rent jet skis from a different place, but they were sold out two days in a row. Most of the businesses will only let you do walk up rentals if you don’t rent for most of the day, but there were plenty of kayaks and paddle boards when we arrived around 9am. We ended up deciding to kayak and was able to get to the entrance of Antelope Canyon and back in about two hours. The weather was a bit overcast, which made it perfect because it wasn’t too hot. The one thing to be aware of is that boater courtesy is low at this part of the lake. Boats and jet skis seem to be generally unaware of the wake they create and don’t slow down when passing kayaks and paddle boards. At least you’ll get a good work out in! The business was very friendly and the rental cost was a great value. If I came back, I’d definitely plan to stay and rent for longer! There are also options to do a guided tour.

Absolutely incredible experience! Just got back from a 3-day overnight kayaking trip and it was unforgettable. Each day had its own wow moment and something exciting to do. Our guides Max and Gabe were amazing - so kind, attentive, and genuinely great people. We felt totally taken care of the whole time. If you’re looking for an absolute epic kayaking trip, this is the one. Can’t recommend it enough!!

Google
From the check in to the tour it was amazing! If you are lucky enough to get Owen, it is going to be a great day for you! Did the kayak and hike in Antelope Canyon and highly recommend this tour. If you are good shape and can handle a 4 miles of kayaking in choppy water then this is the tour for you! This is not what the masses do where you are herded down the canyon like cattle!
google avatar

Kristine F.

Yelp
Our family's first experience kayaking on lake Powell was amazing. Our tour guide, Owen, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the area and was very personable. The highlight was hiking through the slot canyon. I would highly recommend this tour, but be prepared for a workout especially if windy and heavy boat traffic.
google avatar

Reem Y.

Yelp
I cannot recommend this enough. This was the most breathtaking kayak through the canyons; and the hike was spectacular. A friend and I booked this event for her 40th birthday and it was the absolute highlight of our trip! We were thinking of renting kayaks and doing it ourselves but are both so grateful that we didn't because our tour guide, Ryan, was fantastic-- extremely knowledgeable, helpful, witty, and patient with us, as we were both beginners. He made it really fun! We learned that Britney Spears shot her video "I'm not a girl, not yet a woman" there, too! This was so worth it and will definitely be coming back and booking with Ryan!

Brittni L.

Yelp
Phenomenal Lake Powell/ Antelope Canyon kayaking tour with Sky as our tour guide! Yes, you're going to work just a little bit to kayak there and back-- but man was it worth it! The canyon wall views as you're actually ON the lake are stunning and once you get to the antelope canyon you appreciate it that much more. And our guide Sky was fantastic-- he went out of his way to show us the best photo opportunities, take photos for us and shared with us the importance of the land to the natives. 10/10 recommend!

Laura W.

Yelp
If you want to kayak (or paddleboard) on Lake Powell, THIS is the company! We did the kayak and hike into Antelope Canyon and it was a highlight of our trip!Everyone was so helpful and kind. Our guide (Kaitlyn) was fantastic. Very knowledgeable -- and encouraging during tough, windy the trip back! We would definitely visit again and will use this company!

Yelp
10/16/20 - Last minute scramble for a kayak or Paddleboard lead us here and we were not disappointed! They only had paddleboards left (we called the afternoon before we needed them) so we reserved 2 of them. Showed up Friday morning and they strapped those babies to the top of my Prius no problem! Showed us how to strap and unstrap them once we were done and off we went. Make sure you tip them for the great job they do! I'm not quite sure who helped us but all the staff were friendly and all loaded and unloaded the paddles and jackets, etc. Will definitely recommend and use this business again and next time will try the kayaks because paddling out was 100% a workout!!
google avatar

Julianna H.

Yelp
Yes, do THIS tour!! Don't be lame and take a bus tour and hike. Use your arms and work for your views! This tour was out of this world--our guides Ryan and Huston were wonderful! They were full of knowledge and FUN! When I come back, I will 100% be doing this tour all over again. I could post pics of the Canyon, but you should go see for yourself, pictures don't do it justice!!
google avatar

Joshua W.

Yelp
The kayaking was a little extreme for lackluster views. Half the time you are fighting boat wake in lake Powell just to make it to the canyon. Tour guide was amazing though. We would definitely not recommend given the tour was twice as long as it needed to be.
google avatar

Yelp
We kayak for 4 miles total round trip to the Antelope, was super pretty. The water in November is so calm and peaceful, only saw two boats thankfully so no waves. We did the private tour, so worth it!, we don't like being surrounded by too many people, our guides name was Max. He was very nice gentleman and made sure we weren't getting wet and was pushing our kayaks back and ford so very much appreciated!!! He was nice and let us do our thing and take as many picture as we wanted to. Beautiful day out we enjoyed it very much.

Diana V.

Yelp
Had an amazing experience! I went in person to ask about the kayak rentals and tours. I rented a kayak and went to the Ice Cream Cone area on Lake Powell and it was amazing. When I come back to Page, Az, I will be doing the kayak and hike tour with them! And special thanks to Hannah who was really friendly helping me out with the reservation!

Katie P.

Yelp
My husband and I did the 4.5 hour tour with Ryan, he was an excellent and pleasant guide. We had a great time and saw some amazing views, definitely recommend this tour for anyone looking for a guided tour.
google avatar

Andy D.

Yelp
We enjoyed our guided kayak paddle down the Colorado and into Antelope Canyon for the 2 hour tour with no hike. The kayaks were great and they provided all the gear you would need. Dana was our guide and he was great at showing us around, telling us about the area, and taking us to unique spots (like a little beach where we got to walk onto some rock islands). There were a lot of beautiful views, it's wild how much the water level has gone done (and unfortunate for the area, but it doesn't take away from the experience).
google avatar

Carrie A.

Yelp
Had such a great morning on our paddle board! Dana was the best guide! He kept us entertained with his stories and kept us all safe ! Also the gorgeous scenery is stunning.

Alicia L.

Yelp
We did a kayak tour of Antelope Canyon with Sky. It was amazing. Sky had so much knowledge of the area and the canyon. He takes the best photos. He really was just the best. I would do it again. I will take more friends. Highly recommend. Ask for Sky.

Amber D.

Yelp
Use this company :) What a great experience kayaking Lake Powell and hiking into Antelope canyon. Ryan was the best guide and very knowledgeable of the area. The tour was worth the experience. You paddle around 5miles round trip and hike about a mile into the canyon.

Katie M.

Yelp
Went on the Antelope Canyon kayaking and hiking tour yesterday and it was an absolute blast. Our guides, Chris and Ryan, did a fantastic job leading the group and sharing tidbits about the canyons. We loved kayaking through the canyon - such a unique experience.

Yelp
Lake Powell Paddleboards hooked us up with two double kayaks. I believe we paid about $45 per double kayak without tax included. They taught us how to strap both kayaks on my Camry. They gave us life jackets and even gave us a map to direct us where to go. Be aware that you will need to pay a fee to get into the national recreation area. We visited Glen Canyon yesterday so we only paid about $25 per vehicle. The pass is good for one week. They have other options as well. The parking at Lake Powell Paddleboards can be a bit hard since they have limited spots but I didn't have any issues with parking. The workers there were very nice. My friends and I had a pleasant experience. They helped us bring the kayaks down after our trip was done.
google avatar

Isamar C.

Yelp
My friends and I wanted to visit lake Powell but had no idea how to get there so we went over this establishment and I'm so glad we did. The prices for the kayaks or paddleboards were whole day prices until 6pm (it's best to get out early and rent). They had practically anything you might need out on the water: waterproof bags, sun hats, apparel and so much more. Although busy and during the pandemic the staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They gave us a map of the area and let us know which dock would be the best for us to stay clear of boats and get good parking. They mounted the kayaks on our car and gave us a mini tutorial on how to mount them once we were done at the lake. The only unfortunate thing is that we wish we would have been told how windy it could get once on the lake because it was very hard to paddle out. We got one hell of a workout. Had we known we would have opted for the paddle boards or single kayaks.
google avatar

Iris G.

Yelp
Amazing time in Page! We couldn't do the Antelope canyon tour due to Covid but this sure made up for it. If you're not an experienced Paddleboarder I would get a kayak or jet-ski since the boats create choppy water. Bring snacks, lunch and plenty of water and start earlier than later (took us 5 hours roundtrip with breaks) The hike at the end is worth it all. Thank you fir the outstanding customer service! They even strapped the boards to our car and gave us instructions on everything. Highly recommended. There gift shop has great stuff as well :) Such a fun day!
google avatar

Brittany A.

Yelp
The staff explained the entire process and made kayaking at lake Powell so easy! The entire staff was upbeat and a breath of fresh air! Would recommend this to anyone who wants to see lake Powell via Paddle board or kayaks! I'd suggest renting ahead of time to get exactly what you want! They also provide dog life jackets!
google avatar

Kim R.

Yelp
Great place to rent SUP's or bikes. You can also buy cute souvenirs. We rented bikes on short notice and they had 4 bikes ready for us to go right away. They provided us with a map and directions in case we got lost. They let us know which bike paths to take if we were dare devils and which ones to avoid if we wanted to take the easy route. Very helpful people and the prices are fair.
google avatar

Yelp
I've never paddle boarded before and was weary between paddle board and kayak. I called to ask a few questions and the dude over the phone was very condescending. How can you work in customer service industry and be so unhappy. Gee golly!! Get another job if you are so miserable. Thank you to another yelper for recommending another place that also offers drop off and pick up for an additional fee. Don't come here for rentals folks. There are other genuinely nice businesses you could support.

Yelp
Had a trip coming out West and wanted to be sure I got to see everything on my bucket list- Antelope Canyon being one of them. With Covid restrictions and closures I found myself trying to find a way to get a chance to. My husband and I love outdoor activities and saw you could kayak in to the canyon. SO glad we chose this way to check it off my list. Kayaking into Antelope Canyon should be the only way to go- and make sure this company is who you book with. Seamless transaction and guidance. Our tour guide Aaron was outstanding- taking photos throughout, providing details and history. I will definitely be back thanks to them!
google avatar

Stephanie C.

Yelp
Everything about my experience was exceptional. Our tour guide Erin was amazing, she was a nice bonus to our day. She was ver informative, friendly and extremely helpful. Beautiful place, I will definitely be back.
google avatar

Jeffrey T.

Yelp
Erin was out guide that day, we were out here during 4th of july holiday. didn't expect 3.5 hours kayaking but it was definitely something new for me. enjoyed it but super tired after. there was a hike about 1.5 hours approximately round trip. it was beautiful out there. weather was perfect that day, not too hot since we did it early in the morning. will definitely refer them to family and friends and come back for more kayaking next time.

Lindsay L.

Yelp
AMAZING. Britten was our guide and he was amazing and informative. Super sweet guy!! YOU WILL NOT REGRET THIS TOUR. It is the most amazing things I've done. Beautiful and nothing like it. You'll kayak on some rough water starting out then once you get in the canyons the water calms down, the water level is low so the canyon walls are huge, you will get to hike through the canyons for a while about 45 mins, have a little snack (if you bring one) and get to swim at a little "beach" then kayak back! Bring sunscreen & lots of water!!! It is nice but definitely a workout.
google avatar

Anica C.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I had an AMAZING time on our kayak and hike tour! We went for the earliest reservation, which was at 6:30AM. I would 100% recommend to go early because we ended up being the only people on our tour! The waters were sooo calm and it gave the opportunity to really soak up the beautiful views. With everything going on, the Navajo nation area is closed. Buttttt, the hike will still take you through a pretty good amount of area in the antelope canyon! We are soooo glad we chose to book with them because our tour guide Aaron was so awesome! We both never went kayaking, but Aaron explained everything so throughly and was so patient when we fell a liitttttleeeee behind. Haha What made this a even more memorable experience is the most beautiful pictures he took for us. Now we have soo many photos to look back on. THANK YOU TIMES A MILLION!!!

Yelp
Professional, organized, timely, knowledgeable and fun!! All the staff were excellent, particularly Kenna. Our group of 4 used 2 tandem kayaks and hiked through the canyons with Kenna as our guide. Kenna had a upbeat, professional attitude. She ensured our safety and educated us on the geography and history of the land along the way. Kenna connected with each person in our group, was patient with us taking pictures/climbing rocks, and accommodated our need for speed/challenge on the hike out of the canyon. Kenna's love for nature and her enthusiastic customer service took the adventure to another level. The kayak, paddles and life vest were in good condition. The gift store was a bit overpriced but they give you a 10% off coupon after completing the adventure. Don't forget to tip your guide! We went on a Monday morning in June. We were the only group of kayakers signed up for our time slot so it was not busy. The smaller excision size made for an excellent personalized experience.

Yelp
Such a great facility!!! So glad I stopped by and randomly signed up for the antelope canyon kayak tour for my mom and I. Erin, our tour guide, was AMAZING, knowledgeable and VERY patient with my doggo while we were kayaking. It is so worth the money to have a tour guide to take you! Highly recommend! Thanks Erin for all your help, patience and showing my mom and I a great time!

Yelp
A group of 8 of us journeyed to Lake Powell to go Kayaking and it was one of our bucket list things to do. We were recommended to rent from this place by a co-worker and having read the yelp reviews, I assumed it was a great place to rent. The prices were not bad and they gave us everything to kayak. However, Joe was incredibly rude and sassy to our group. Perhaps our group were a bunch of young professionals but I thought the sarcasm and rude comments were unprofessional and made me really frustrated and angry. Not only was he not wearing a mask when talking to us, he told us to move one of our cars as we parked in an incorrect place (no instructions on where). We moved it again and as we filled out the consent forms, he tapped me on the shoulder and told me again that I did not follow instructions and had to move the car again. Not only was it not my car (it was someone else in our party) I snapped back and asked where we should park then as he didn't give any specific instructions. He pointed "over there" indicating across the street. Thankfully, we had another person show us how to load the kayaks on our car and everything. The kayaks worked well as you can do tandem and singles (tandems were around $50 for the day and singles were $35 I believe). Upon returning, we were greeted by Joe, again... I had someone in my party go and look for someone to help. Joe then comes and opens my door and asks if we're unloading and I responded yes. He then said "I'm not going to help you since you left your car on." I turned my car off and then he just snaps back and says "it's not safe to unload if you leave your car running." I only left the car on to wait for further instructions and find someone for help. I then ask Joe if he would like us to get out of the car and he sarcastically says "well someone has to unload the gear." I got so mad after that with him I just wanted to get everything out so I can leave as soon as possible. Overall, I am sorry I am leaving this review of 3/5 stars and ruining their 5 star average but the customer service, especially from the owner, needs improvement. Perhaps it is again because we are young adults but we are paying money and supporting their business and it's the least they can do by being nice and not being rude/sassy. However, the kayaks were great.

Yelp
(7/4/20) One does not travel to Page without kayaking across Lake Powell, and I declare this as one who -- until today -- had never gone kayaking before! We were pleased to see that aquatic activities were still available despite present health circumstances, and Lake Powell Paddleboards and Kayak (which I shall now refer to as LPPK) was open for business. | COVID Disclaimer | The staff were masked and protected, hand sanitizer was available, and as reasonably as possible, everybody was practicing social distancing. The majority of the customers I observed abided by the same practice. Continue to stay safe, dear friends, and be confident that LPPK is doing their part to ensure the same. | Arrival & Rental Experience | We arrived before 3 P.M., and one of the staff members greeted us with a warning that they closed at 6. If we did not return the kayak by 6, he said, we would have to return it at 9 the next morning with a $10 late charge. Challenge accepted. We filled out our liability waivers on one of the iPads along the porch. A kindly gentleman at the front asked for our reservation information, and after a bit of confusion, we clarified that we had not made reservations -- we had just got here and wanted to rent on the spot. ** Pro-tip 1 ** Make a reservation! We were lucky to get a tandem kayak on the 4th of July of all days. On similarly busy days, you'd do well to get your name down while supplies last. We secured our rental for $54 inside the store. Our cashier was truly kind (she offered us popsicles!) and made some great suggestions about the best spots to kayak, as well as the ideal time to head back before closing hour. She also offered some strategies on how to brave the chop from inevitable speed boats and jetskis (how we wish we remembered what she said!). Meanwhile, the staff loaded the kayak and supplied the seats, life jackets, and paddles. | The Equipment | I will probably get around to reviewing Lake Powell itself, but suffice it to say, we had a blast. The equipment was perfect for our purposes. Despite our brazen inexperience, we did not capsize! After our adventure, loading the kayak onto the car was a breeze. ** Pro-tip 2 ** If you are unfamiliar with securing a kayak to your vehicle, take some photos after the staff loads it, or even ask them for tips at the store. It may sound simple enough, but we saw some folks at Lake Powell struggling magnificently with their kayaks. They are easier to unload, I should imagine. | The Return | We returned at 5:30 P.M. with plenty of time to spare. The staff swiftly removed the kayak and collected our seats, life jackets, and paddles. As all our paperwork was long accounted for, there wasn't anything else for us to do; we were good to go. | Verdict | An overwhelming 5/5 stars for LPPK, for their professional and courteous service, and their top-tier equipment. When we next return to Page for another exhilarating ride along Lake Powell, there is no question as to where we will be renting from. 'Til next time!

Yelp
This spot is open till the end of November so we could still enjoy the sunny weather on Lake Powell! I had called a bunch of shops in Page to inquire about kayaking on Lake Powell and I found Joel to be the most responsive and informative. He gave us a map on where to go, told us how much time it would take and he even gave us some tips on kayaking in a double. His colleagues also helped us strap all the equipment on the car and they showed us how to do it ourselves. It was super efficient and would 10/10 rent from this place again. Also we returned the kayaks about 10 minutes late thank you for not slapping a late fee on us!
google avatar

Lavien S.

Yelp
If you are not experienced in kayaking, this may be the tour for you. My guide Dana was so patient, kind, and down to earth. He made me feel comfortable and safe and I was never afraid when we were out on the water. I definitely recommend the guided tour with Dana on Lake Powell. Joe at the shop was friendly as well. Thank you for an awesome experience!

Yelp
Amazing place, we did the kayak ride deep into the canyons and it was breathtaking!!! Be ready for the winds as it can get crazy windy on a bad day. Luckily we got to experience 2 days and the second was much calmer.

Kelly P.

Yelp
This is a great place to rent a kayak! We decided last minute to rent a kayak and called about weather conditions to see if it was worth it. Going first thing in the morning is better. We rented a double for $45 for the entire day. Be warned they do not rent out dry bags, but you can purchase one for $20 and a cell phone case for $23. They helped load the kayak onto my tiny Toyota Corolla and taught us how to unload it. They also gave us maps of the lake and suggestions on when to get out. This was my dad's first time kayaking and if an old man can figure out how to transport and kayak, I'm sure anyone can. We didn't end up going all the way to the hike at the end of the canyon, but we enjoyed the journey halfway up the canyon. Make sure to bring water and maybe a towel to wipe your feet at the end!
google avatar

Jennifer A.

Yelp
The staff here is so helpful. First time at lake Powell for me. And they told me everything I needed to know to have the finest day trip.
google avatar

David G.

Yelp
We love Joe and Jordan! They are very service-oriented and kind and helpful and have made our experiences at the lake very smooth and pleasant for many years and many trips. You show up and they strap on your equipment to your car and give you maps and you're done within minutes. That is for everything guys! Very accommodating and excellent service as always!
google avatar

Ashley S.

Yelp
Wonderful experience!! The staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about Lake Powell as well as Lower Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe bend. They answered all of our questions & gave thorough instructions for the kayaking experience. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and they even gave us some great dinner recommendations. Highly recommend using them if you have the opportunity.
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely awesome! We did the 5 hr tour and it was stunningly beautiful and fun to see the lake, canyon and our mini-hike! Kate was phenomenal!!

Yelp
This spot is following COVID guidelines. Staff is very resourceful. Will provide you with tips, a map and help to load and unload all equipment. We did our shopping for a large group of 11, 5 adults and 6 children.. $35 single and $50 double kayak I'd say cost efficient. Next time I'd kayak in a single rider because of weight control. This place is convenient for amateurs that may lose track of time or take longer than a pro.. there is no additional charge to return the following day (that is what we understood). The one issue I had was not their service, hence why I didn't deduct stars. Our 12 year olds ran out of the car because we had been on the road for an hour. They steered over to the neighboring property to hangout and an employee yelled at them to stay off the property because they didn't like their customers on their property. The tone that was used was inappropriate and so if there is ever a problem with children that are not your own it's best to address it with the adult rather then yelling and their children. Other than that everything was excellent.

Yelp
I rented a double kayak to go to antelope canyon. We were very excited and this was our first kayaking experience together. However, this experience was near traumatizing. As we were about an hour into our paddle we started to Sink and then a wave hit and we capsized. After spending 25 mins in the lake trying to get back on to no avail, a gentleman from another kayak company (Britain) helped us drain our boat while in the water and get back on. He told us there was a hole on our boat (D32)and we needed to immediately turn back and get a new one . As you can probably guess, we were terrified the whole way back, and exhausted. We were able to get a new kayak when we returned but as you can imagine we wasted precious morning time in the cooler temperatures. We are extremely upset at this experience.

Yelp
Lake Powell Paddleboards and Jordan were pleasant to work with. We rented our vehicles and so were concerned if strapping the items on the cars would be a concern, and turns out it was easy as pie! We wished that we could've come even earlier in the day. Jordan guided us to Antelope Point Marina, where we would paddle/kayak into the slot canyon. She instructed that there was strong wind warning around 3pm, and suggested that we should be on shore by 2pm if we're first timers. We had really good time with our SUP and kayak. The views were amazing. Not all of us made it into the end for the hike, but we heeded the advice of the wind warning, and boy that wind was no joke when it arrived! Instructions on the straps were clear and easy especially when we took pictures of them when they were first strapped on by the staff. We also picked up some gear to keep our items dry too. The prices were reasonable. One of the SUP didn't have any bungee cord on it, so one person ended up wearing his backpack. I wish we had a chance to check before they set it up. Otherwise, everything went awesome! I would highly recommend Lake Powell Paddleboards again!

Yelp
Excellent customer service! The owners and staff here are all helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the area. We drove in from out of town and the first day ended up being way too windy to be on the water. They let us check out the water to see what we thought and helped us change our reservation once we made a decision. They were careful when loading/unloading the kayak, paddleboard, and oars into/on our rental car. The provide life preservers as well. They gave us a couple of maps with specific information about distances and good spots to swim. Their shop has quality souvenirs unlike anything we saw elsewhere. So even if you aren't trying to rent a boat, check out their other goods. Tshirts, jewelry, stickers, keychains, waterproof bags, stones, all kinds of cool stuff. Support this awesome local small business and meet these really great people on your next trip to Page.

Yelp
Kayak/hiking tour is a great why to see Antelope Canyon!!! We had an awesome time. Tour guide Aron was professional and knowledgeable, he made the tour throughly enjoyable. Be prepared to get wet, then hike nearly 2 miles round trip. Water and snacks are highly recommended, since the tour was 4 hours long.

Yelp
I contacted this company through Instagram because I had many questions about the experience and rentals, and they were so helpful right from the start. When we arrived, the team was helpful and quick, sending us on our way within minutes. They set up the soft rack so we could transport the kayak to antelope canyon marina area, and they also sent us with a map so we knew where to go! Overall, such a great experience! We spent $55 for a double kayak in February (not sure if prices fluctuate per season), and we had an entire day of fun on the waters! Highly recommend this company!

Yelp
Soooo, I have mixed emotions. My daughter and I were touring Utah and hiking and were planning on staying in Kanab when we had a whim to drive to Lake Powell and kayak. We called Lake Powell Paddleboards and asked if we could rent some kayaks in the afternoon. The man who answered said they were busy but he would call me back. I never received a call back, so I called back an hour and a half later. The man said he had two and I paid for the kayaks over the phone. When we arrived around 2 pm, were were told that the lake would be very windy and that we would have to wait until later that night. We were bummed because we were planning on leaving the next morning and didnt know when we booked that the lake conditions might not be conducive to kayaking in the afternoon. I wish he would have explained that to us on the phone before we paid. At any rate, Jordan - who was now helping us, was very helpful and kind. She showed us where to paddle, gave directions and said leaving first thing in the morning was best. We were very interested in hiking Antelope canyon and had seen lots of pictures so we asked about that and were told we could easily beach our kayaks and do some hiking. We talked about dry bags for our hiking boots so it was very clear we wanted to do hiking in the canyon and were led to believe we would be able to do so. Soooo, we decide we will change our plans and try to kayak that evening, after the wind dies down, and also in the morning. We had to pay for a strap that locks since we didn't want the kayaks to be stolen overnight. We waited a while for the wind to die down and took off for the lake. We got there and realized they had given us all of the equipment EXCEPT life jackets. It is about a 20 minute drive to the launch point. UGH. So, after we drove back to get the life jackets we just decided to bag it for the night, since it was getting late. The next morning we arrived very early and the lake was like glass, as we were told. BUT, the kayaks are much different than ones we are used to. These are "sit atop" kayaks and are somewhat difficult to keep headed in a straight direction. It felt like a lot of wasted energy keeping the kayak going straight. Know that you have to ask for the sit in type of kayak which has much better maneuverability. We paddled all the way to the end of the canyon, where we could go no further. And go no further we did. We couldn't get our kayaks to the beach and there was no where to tie them because we couldn't get past the canyon walls/ledge at the end of the canyon. There was also garbage and sludge atop the water so getting out and swimming/wading through the water would have been pretty gross even if we had something to tie our kayaks to. We were not able to make it to the beach or do any hiking. We were later told by a guide leading a group of kayakers, from another company, that there really is no hiking to speak of at that point in the canyon. We felt pretty misled as we had talked at length with the employee at Lake Powell Paddelboards about our desire to hike and bringing our hiking boots. We asked questions about beaching kayaks, where to hike, etc. Anyway, the canyon was absolutely beautiful even sans the hike but overall we were bummed. It is 65 for two kayaks and 10 for a locking strap for overnight.

Yelp
Check in was easy, Erin at the desk was helpful with directions and pieces of advice (maybe a little quicker-paced), and we were able to get to the boat ramp with no problem. Aaron, our guide, was friendly and supportive from the beginning. He made us feel comfortable kayaking in a new place, and we appreciated his direction. When we reached our hiking destination, we were able to see super scenic views and Aaron answered our questions. We could tell he was observant and looking out for his "tourists" the whole time. Overall, we would highly recommend this business for river exploration!
