Lake Quinault

Calm lake with great scenery and clear water. I followed the Quinault lake shore trailhead east to the lake, and enjoyed the short walk and a small creek on the trail as well.

My mom and I visited the lake, it was such a beautiful and peaceful place. Nice lodge for staying in the area, well-maintained forest trails, and great swimming!

visited here early one morning on Labor Day weekend. I suggest you go on weekdays if possible. We arrived before many people were out stirring and we took a hike up to one of the falls and only say 2 other couples. It is a good hike with some spots of elevation but not bad. Beautiful scenery.

Visited on 8/31/2024 A beautiful clean quiet lake with amazing sunset views. Some people come to swim at the lake, others just dip their feet. I didn't see a lot of bugs/mosquitoes, which was a nice feature of the lake. I highly recommend the sunset at the east part of the lake. The photos were taken near Rain Forest Resort Village.

Very nice lodge with a beautiful view. The whole feel of the place is relaxing. They keep the large fireplace going and lots of oversized chairs and couches where people sit around reading, drinking coffee, socializing and just relaxing. They have a swimming pool and a game room, a restaurant, gift shop and there's plenty to do in the area in terms of hiking and being in nature. This is definitely a place to go if you're looking to relax.

My wife and I didn't know about Lake Quinault. We just needed to pee as we were passing by and ended up staying the night. It was so beautiful, the weather was perfect. It was an added bonus seeing the worlds largest Spruce Tree.
