Don’t let the quirky building & decor dissuade you from trying this delicious pizza in South Lake Tahoe. It was fantastic! We had the Mean Greek and the Mogul Masher. Loved the crust and the sauce tasted truly homemade. The salad bar had everything you count on in a salad bar. Great service and plenty of seating can be found both inside and out back. Definitely worth the stop if you are in South Lake Tahoe!

The pizza was really good. It was very nice to have more than one choice of size for a gluten free pizza — that’s the first time I’ve ever seen that option. My family liked the food so much that they insisted on going back while we were in town.

Holy crust! The crust here is amazing! Beautiful crunch while not being too hard. The garlic chips appetizer was really good with ranch dip, strong garlic flavor. The Hawaiian style pizza was lacking some flavor, but still worth trying. The margherita pizza was perfect, the tomatoes were not mushy. Overall the pizzas were really good, I would’ve liked more sauce. The staff were friendly and attentive. Be prepared for a wait, everything is fresh!!!!

Sorry to say this was a huge disappointment. Meatballs in my calzone tasted funky at best. Huge chucks of raw tomatoes in our Canadian bacon calzone. No flavor whatsoever to the little cup of pasta salad we were given.

Those in our party who had salads reported they were fresh and tasty. However, the pizza was bland and the pork/sausage/beef meatballs in the calzones did not taste good. They were tough and seemed overcooked. The bottom crust of my calzone was blackened and I was unable to cut it with a knife. The rest of the calzone...sauce, cheese and crust were all very good. Our waitress was excellent.

Great service, fantastic food and open late! They were one of the few places on a Thursday night open to 10 pm after the places we wanted to go closed earlier. 10/10 would go back any time.

I went in for a visit by myself and sat at the bar. Staff was friendly and checked on me regularly. The crust is some of the best. Have you ever found the crust is soft in the middle when eating pizza somewhere? Well, not here!!!!. Someone please tell me how you get the crust to come out crunchy and flakey!!!! So delicious!!!! I consider myself a bit of a pizza snob- you will not be disappointed. Homemade ranch, too! Can't say enough good things about this local favorite

If you order take out even though there is space and no rush you are not allowed to dine in which was not so customer friendly, they mentioned that is their policy which makes sense when there is no crowd but there was limited crowd but still they haven’t allowed us. Love the atmosphere. Old ski chalet look with interesting antiques on display. Service is always great as well. Everyone is super helpful and friendly. And the most important part is that the food is very delicious! Flakey, buttery crust and just the right amount of toppings for the crust thickness. Will definitely be back again and would recommend to others. Great way to end a day of adventuring in Lake Tahoe!

This place was recommended to us by someone who frequently visits the mountain. However, the restaurant is first come, first serve and I would expect a 3 hour wait time. We put our names in for a reservation at 530 pm (we were told that our wait would be 2 hours) and we weren't seated until 8pm. Not exactly thrilled about that. The place had a very warm and welcome vibe. Once we were finally seated, the staff was very friendly and attentive. Shortly after we ordered, our food arrived. The salad was my favorite part of the mean. We subbed out the gorganzola cheese for goat and I'm glad that we did. The pizza toppings weren't my favorite but the dough and sauce were flavorful.

A tale of two entrees...... First off, it seems like a chill place with the outdoor decor, and the inside having a combination of a family friendly pizza place with a sports bar-ish area. I had my food to go, and had to drive about ten minutes back to my hotel. (I passed by a few pizza places between here and Stateline, but threw a proverbial dart at the Yelp wall of pizza places, and connected here). Appearances can be deceiving. Despite the ten minute drive and the "not connected" appearance of my cheese pizza, it was still hot, crispy but not burnt, and everything you want in a plain cheese pizza. My inner Kevin McCallister was quite happy. I am dinging the review a little, because on their website, a small cheese is listed as $11.99, but they charged me $16.99 for my small cheese in person. Maybe update your website, peeps... The spaghetti and meatballs have a mixed review. The spaghetti itself, along with the sauce, actuallly was quite good. The three tiny meatballs, however, tasted pre-made, pre-heated, frozen, something, just.....not fresh. Meatballs that small should not put up that much resistance to both the fork and my teeth. I would definitely recommend for your Tahoe pizza needs, whether visiting or local. Just maybe stick to pizza in your order (and double check the website pricing)

I was lucky they take apple pay as I left my wallet at home. Ordered a small tropical treat (Hawaiian) and it was ready when they said. Love the decor - dark woods, antiques, various size tables, all set up with napkins and silverware. Nice salad bar. I burnt my tongue trying to enjoy a slice too quick. But the flavors are good, ingredients fresh and fragrance is fantastic!

After driving around and sight-seeing, we were hungry and found Lake Tahoe Pizza Company. They parking can be challenging during peak times. They have been serving the community for 50+ years. Friendly and helpful service. The crust is uniquely theirs. Thin bottom crust almost like a cracker, and the crust was thicker and doughy. Jackpot (anchovies extra): Pepperoni, salami, tender beef, onions, bell peppers, sausage, olive, mushrooms. We ordered 6 anchovies. They were pretty good and not too salty. The jackpot was a good combination of meats and vegetables. Tahoe Delight: sausage, mushroom, beef, onions. We swapped out the tomato sauce and replaced it with pesto. This was a good pizza regardless. It was crowded for a Tuesday night.

This is my favorite pizza in South Lake Tahoe! I grew up eating the homemade dough and almost cracker crust. Service is always friendly and as fast as they can go given weekend crowds. I usually pick up but the inside is cozy and a nice relaxing historic vibe. You want to enjoy a tasty pie and support a longtime family business and supporter of community sports and local life! My go to is pepperoni and sausage with ranch for my crust.

Mediocre pizza at best. You're better off going to good fellas pizza down the road. The worst crust I've ever had in my life just about.

We came here on a Saturday to get out of the Tahoe thunderstorms! We had a party of 6 and got sat within 5 minutes. The restaurant is surprisingly so large and can accommodate a lot of people. We ordered the Fresh Garlic Chips, Jackpot, and the Tahoe Delight. All three were delicious! The only downside is the crust -- it lacks in flavor and felt a little one note. The value is fantastic! We got a starter, 2 x large pizzas, one pitcher, and it was all under $100!

We love pizza and had really high hopes to get some pizza after a long day hiking in Tahoe. Ambiance is very cozy and warm/inviting, servers are super friendly and helpful. A reasonable amount of parking in the adjacent lot. The pizzas are way smaller than we anticipated (even for a large), and the toppings were a bit disappointing and sounded way better on the menu. Prices are a lot higher and make the value a bit to be desired. Plenty of great beers and drinks to choose from and a great place to hang out and watch sports on TV while you're relaxing, but if you're looking to feed your family, you may need to order a lot and be prepared to spend a bit more as well.

Food is good here and the salad bar is awesome! Don't sit in the restaurant side because seating needs to be updated and is cramped together, along with dusty antiques. Best seating is in the bar, which has a fireplace and tvs. Service is good.

The garlic chips are why we come here! Must try!. The pizza is really good too. Definitely a different style pizza, floppy crust but it's still really good.

My family and I have been getting pizza here during our vacations at Lake Tahoe. This is one of the best pizza places in this area! Everything about this place is unique based off of food and atmosphere. The pizza crusts are twisted and both the Jackpot and Margherita pizzas taste flavorful and delicious. We also ordered spaghetti and it tastes sweet. Didn't even realize that it's not in my Photos sadly :( The atmosphere of this place really matches the theme of Lake Tahoe. It is meant to be a wooden area with old decorations and structures too. The service is nice since they were able to complete our phone orders before we get to the place. I definitely recommend people to come here especially when taking a trip down here!

The pizza was absolutely delicious. My husband had the traditional crust and I had the gluten-free crust. We were both very happy. We sat in the bar and the service was fantastic. We loved the old school, hometown, ambience, and local vibe. We will definitely be back.

The pizza was wonderful! A star lacking due to the service from Ethan. Almost condescending, not very welcoming. The pizza, however was really good!

It was actually my first visit to South Lake Tahoe coincidentally. My partner had suggested getting pizza here because she's been before and said it was her favorite. Pizza IS part of my love language, so I was on board.... I was a little disappointed that the crust, or at least mine, came out almost with a cracker consistency. It was cooked and had a braided effect as if it would be pillowy soft to bite into... but instead started to kinda flake and crunch just like a cracker. I wasn't expecting deep dish style, but crust does it for me with pizza. That was a disappointment. I'm still giving 5 stars because customer service was great; vegan cheese options were nice to see; tons of veggie add on items; decor was funky but cool, and there was a funny photo prop setup outside. If you look at the photos I posted, one is a typical selfie. .. and the other is a candid snap of me literally trying to jump out bc I didn't know if spiders or anything else might be living in this outdoor bench setup. All in all, this is worth a visit to try it for yourself. I would probably order pizza elsewhere, but again, my partner raved about hers!

It's the dough :( We had both a pizza and a calzone, apparently they only have thin crust/dough, (according to the waitress as we asked). It all came out crispy. Nothing was soft, it was even slightly burnt. It was nice that they had vegan cheese, which I did appreciate, and the service OK. If the dough was better I could see myself enjoying this place, but I just can't.

One trip to the salad bar is enough. Creative pizza topping combinations. Great service. Well priced. Celebrating 50 years of business.

With a child who is a picky eater, it was difficult to find something everyone would enjoy. Who doesn't like pizza?!? We found this restaurant on Yelp and there's absolutely not regret! Great service and fantastic pizza! We will drop every time we're near.

When you are looking for pizza, this place is a must. A local favorite with fast service and spot on wait times. I definitely recommend trying every pizza in every possible combination. I love the twisted pizza crust.

We got takeout from here while entertaining 13 adults and a baby prior to a family reunion the day after. Because of gluten free people, we opted for here as they are known for their different crusts. We ordered 3 large pizzas--Canadian bacon and pineapple, mushroom and pepperoni, and wheat crust with feta and artichoke hearts. Then a medium gluten free with just the spinach/garlic cooked in butter, and a small gluten free with olives and mushrooms. I can only speak for the medium gf one, but it was delicious and the crust was really excellent for gluten free. We ran out of the pepperoni mushroom. Next time I will definitely get gf garlic chips. Oh they also had free ranch dressing cup for each pizza, which was a really great deal.

Ordered to-go. There was enough for the two of us. The spaghetti and meatball dinner with "garlic chips" and salad. Thought their sauce was a bit watery, meatballs kind of hard in the middle (needed a knife to cut them) and the "garlic chips" are pizza dough with cheese and garlic, not quite cooked crispy. We did heat up the leftover "garlic chips" the next day in our oven on a pizza stone and they tasted so much better.

Wow, I've been coming to Lake Tahoe for over 30 years and cannot believe I never knew about this place since my last visit this past September. My bestie I was with is gluten free allergy and she suggested this place so I didn't know what to expect since she has not had the regular pizza. Yum, Yum yum, the crust is light and crispy yet just the right crust to hold the cheese and all the toppings. I wanted to scarf the whole pizza fast but I controlled myself, definitely will take my family the next time we visit Tahoe.

Every time we are in the area, we hear rave reviews about the spot. We ordered several pizzas and picked them up piping hot for a group of us. Everything was OK but far from spectacular or something. I would tell you not to miss. There was nothing wrong with it. It was just a little bit bland and not particularly to our liking, although I still continue to hear rave reviews about this spot. We tried 5 different pies so I think we got a pretty good sampling. We tried to order as soon as they opened so we could just come and pick it up an hour and a half later when we needed it, but they would not take a pre-order for a set time?? I'm sure everybody has a reason for their rules, but we had to call back two dozen times to get through to place an order to pick up. It would've been easier to just place the order when we called it first and picked it up when we said we would but??

We have been here a few times now and the pizza is fantastic - we tried the calzones this time which were a decent size for one person. The consistent problem we have seen here is staffing. The food for each of us came out at different times so by the time the last plate came out the first wasn't hot anymore. The staff is friendly enough but at times they seemed lost on which food went to what table and lost track of where people were just seated. We will be back just maybe not during the busy season.

This is a great place to eat , the inside was something out of a cozy movie .. the pizza was great you can choose your own or build your own.. staff was friendly and knowledgeable when asking questions about the food.. they also have a salad bar which looked inviting .. there is also a bar but they only served beer no hard liquor..yes I would recommend this place.

Back to loving our favorite Tahoe pizza place (and one of our favorites overall). My husband phoned in an order (had to redial numerous times as the line was busy). Very friendly and helpful order taker told him it would be ready in 20-25 minutes. Got there in less than 20. The parking lot was packed. Paid for our pizza, and it was ready within 5 more minutes. Pizza was customized exactly as requested, and it was every bit as delicious as a pizza can be. No wonder this place is going to celebrate their 50th year in '23 -- well deserved.

Absolutely terrible, we ordered a pizza for pickup and then decided to dine in the restaurant. It was at less than half capacity and wanted to get the salad bar with our food the rude hosts told us we were not allowed to done In due to there policy and points at a piece of paper that she claimed to be the policy after we walked out we decided to go back in and snap a picture of what she was referring to and it had Absolutely nothing to do with our current situation we felt harassed and discriminated ...there are far better options for pizza in this town..

Needs to be on triple D. Flavortown! This is outta bounds, off the hook, this is money, you could put that on a flip flop, shut the front door, holy pizza in Batman, holy moly cannoli, some people are just born to cook and talk, the real deal, serve it on a trash can lid, that's bananas and bananas are good, winner winner pizza dinner!!!

Ok here is the thing. We didn't have their pizza as we had a reservation across the street. But they were super friendly and allowed our children to have Shirley temples and sodas while we waited. I have to give them five stars on that. Bathrooms were also very clean.

It's more expensive than dominos but they have a flaky unique crust that our family enjoyed. Definitely worth trying. We'll be back!

Warning, this will be probably one of the very view negative reviews in the 46 years that Lake Tahoe Pizza Company has operated. I have been a regular customer since 1989, and in the last two years the quality of Lake Tahoe Pizza Company's product has dropped considerably. It is still good pizza because the bar was so high originally, but for decades I had considered it the best I had had anywhere in the world. Sadly, since the founder retired this is no longer the case. And not based on a few visits-this has been an issue for at least two years. I am now going to Base Camp Pizza at Heavenly Village, which as a local and a regular customer I can tell you is now the best quality pizza in town. It is my hope that the new operator can bring back the storied history of Lake Tahoe Pizza Company, as it has been an institution in Lake Tahoe since I was a kid.

Wow. Did not expect to find such good pizza out here. Loved the crust and pepperoni used here. Good speedy service. Salad bar here is also awesome. Will be back.

The pizza and service are decent. We ordered the Jackpot (a version of combo) and the meatball. Both were good. Their crust is slightly different than a chewy pizza crust but was good. Servers were friendly. I appreciated that they give you a free ranch for every pizza- bonus! We friend the garlic and pesto chips and both were good starts. The decor is quirky and it's nice to support a local business on vacation!

Came with a large group and we were seated so quickly! The food was amazing - ordered some garlic chips, salad bar, garlic pizza and pepperoni. Everything was so fresh. The ambiance was fun also. We have 5 kids in our group and there was plenty of space for them to move around. The service was phenomenal-everyone who helped us was kind and had a smile on their face! Also so helpful. Definitely making this place a staple whenever we come to Tahoe!

Hands down one of the best pizzas in Tahoe and for a great price. even with inflation high quality ingredients for a good price. they're definitely for the people!!! support small GOOD BUSINESSES! The crust is one of the most unique tasting doughs I've ever had. LTP is in my all time top 5 pizzas out there!

Great place! This was a great pick for our pizza night in Tahoe. Great service and the food was spot on. Two of our party had a standard sausage pizza. I had a gluten free meat thing (the name escapes me now), but it too was very nice. This was one our more memorable dining experiences in the area. Great job.

I ordered a create your own large pizza with two toppings: mushrooms and olives. I had to wait about 30 minutes because I ordered online (not bad). But when I got home and saw the pizza, I noticed they were missing my mushrooms, even though I paid for them. Each topping after one is $2.75. I'm also not sure why the pizza is cut so unevenly and jaggedly. I'm disappointed in my order outcome but the pizza still tastes decent.

Absolutely loved my personalized gluten free vegan pizza! Lean Garden small size with freshly roasted vegetables (sub mushrooms, no pineapple) and in-house pizza sauce with gluten free crust: Tasted amazing! Their gluten free crust is made of rice flour similar to the ones you purchase frozen as a dough on its own. I called in advance and they told me the ingredients which I really appreciated. Great customer service and when I went to pick up my pizza, was offered a drink while I waited. Highly recommend!

Me and my hubs went out to check this cute little pizza company. We were ecstatic with the menu options and ended up choosing the southwestern chicken. I personally would rate 3/5 just because the yellow cheese was a little overwhelming for my liking. Loved the originality of their homemade crust. Service was great! I ended up ordering a white wine and it was delicious!

This is my go-to pizza place in South Lake Tahoe. They have flavorful hand made crust and their pizzas are baked in a brick oven for great flavor. Our favorites are the Barnyard Massacre (All Meat) and the Mogul Masher. My kids also likes Base Camp Pizza near Stateline but they are very different. Lake Tahoe pizza crust is a hand made work of art with some toppings backed in a brick oven. Base Camp Pizza is machine made pizza crust smothered with toppings. If you appreciate pizza dough artistry, then you will love Lake Tahoe Pizza Company. If you don't care about the crust and want lots of toppings, then opt for Base Camp Pizza, both are delicious!

Loved the old pizza pub type vibes inside. The braided crust was unique and delicious. Definitely will be back next trip in town

Reddit said this was the best pizza place in Tahoe and they let me down. Ordered two small pizzas to-go and they forgot to add sausage to my sausage and pepperoni pizza. Their bottled 16oz sodas are $4. Pizza taste/flavor is mediocre and bland - not sure what all the hype is. We tried two slices and it wasn't worth eating. Additionally, there were customers inside eating that left their dog outside without a leash in the freezing cold. The dog kept trying to come inside and the owner kept kicking it out. Horrible. I'd recommend just going to Round Table or Domino's for pizza - you know what to expect and the quality/taste will be much better than here.

Had dinner in the bar watching Monday Night Football. Very good pizza (I like crispy crust), friendly staff and happy hour beer/wine. What's not to like?
