Lake Tempe

The main destination for tourism..i do love this place.sometimes i go there to be a guide for the tourist.the best time to go there in the early morning and in the afternoon.you can find the birds and see sunset or sunrise.there are many floating house.when you arrive, the owner of floating house will prepare banana fried and coffee or tea.when ask me how long does it take to go there?it takes about half hour from the river bank.

Another thing that makes Tempe Lake unique and interesting to visit is a village known as Salotangah Village, it is in the middle of the lake, and houses are floating! Generally, people who stay there are fishermen who catch fish in Tempe Lake as their main livelihood. To build a floating house they need about 15 days to finish the construction.

Defenately a beautiful place in Sengkang. A must visit place when you explore Sulawesi
