Lake Tyers Beach Tavern

Today we had the pleasure of stumbling upon this hotel. The view was spectacular looking out at the water very relaxing. The staff are all amazing, including Joe the manager and I have to say the food was the nicest food I have had for a very very long time. We had all the appetisers and starters and just couldn’t fault from the asparagus in a broad bean puree to the cured trout to the Flathead tails and the roasted beetroot on a bed of yoghurt with hazelnuts and the freshest oysters ever. I wish they were closer to where we lived. The chef is so talented and the presentation of food was awesome 100% recommend to all -you definitely have to go there 😍

What an awesome experience. Stayed at the free camping out the back of the tavern and honestly I can’t believe how generous they are with power water and amenities all for free, as well as kayak hire and fishing gear complimentary all for the cost of a drink or meal at the tavern, which is a must!! The hospitality is second to none, meals were amazing, atmosphere was great. Shout out to Jo and staff, who served us both meals snd entertainment! Loved this experience. The location is suburb but it’s the people that make it!

This place has 2 night free camping out the back with free drinking water, electricity, toilets and a hot shower. It's right on the lake and a short walk from the beach. I stayed there for one night and had a chicken parmi out on the deck looking over the water. The food was both quantity and quality, the staff were friendly, and the location is just perfect. I can't recommend the Tavern enough.

Very nice place with great scenery. Fish and chips good and wife's Fish with asparagus and mushroom type soup, which she was hesitant about, turned out to be a hit. Would recommend a visit.

We parked up out the back in their free camp and it was awesome. Free power and electricity for two days, and if we wanted to stay an extra days, it was $25 a day. There is a toilet, laundry and hot shower we could have used. We had an excellent meal in the tavern too. The publican is a genuinely nice bloke who made us feel welcome. Thank you Lake Tyers Beach Tavern for your wonderful hospitality and meal!

Sat inside by the large picture window near the bar, beautiful outlook and a roaring fire to keep warm. We were hear for two days, at the free camp behind the Tavern and the Tavern was the place to be. Magnificent food, 5 star restaurant quality and the staff were lovely. Recommend it, worth the visit, we'll be back.

Stunning beach view, incredible food, lovely staff. Will go back 100% when back down this way. Seafood was so fresh and cooked to perfection, cannot fault anything! Highly recommend the fried eggplant, the snapper and seafood pizza!

Food was excellent, fish,chips and salad. Staff happy and obliging. Beautiful outlook over the lake. Could sit and chat after or meal without being rushed. Love this place. Just to be clear this is a Tavern, no accommodation
