We parked up out the back in their free camp and it was awesome. Free power and electricity for two days, and if we wanted to stay an extra days, it was $25 a day. There is a toilet, laundry and hot shower we could have used. We had an excellent meal in the tavern too. The publican is a genuinely nice bloke who made us feel welcome. Thank you Lake Tyers Beach Tavern for your wonderful hospitality and meal!

What a sham! Our whole table had to wait over an hour for our good as did the rest of the tavern. Given the very expensive prices I was at least hoping for a decent feed - well that didn’t happen. Way overpriced for the portions and definitely not worth it. And to top it all off, we were slammed with a 10% surcharge <sigh> We’re not going back

Honestly extremely extremely pricey, I’m happy to spend big for fine dining but it’s just sad to be charging such a big amount for long waits and small portions. If you have kids I would feed them before hand. Flavour is lacking for the prices

I stayed two nights at the camp and I couldn’t recommend it enough. Kev was amazing and the staff at the pub were all fantastic too! The pub is full of friendly locals who you can tell treasure this place and for good reason! The outside area is beautiful too.

Food fabulous, initial service very good, but the most wonderful thing was the staff especially one waitress that came to check on us as my friend wasn't eating the meal. When he explained to her the reason she showed such care and empathy which at the time was so important and so valued. Unfortunately we didn't get her name but we hope that this is passed onto her. It was so wonderful and certainly a superb demonstration of caring service

For an average of $40 a meal a 1 hour wait with Sunday surcharge left our table shocked. I also received a different menu to the others on my table which had different pricing ( half price for a lobster roll) and menu items that didn’t exist anymore. When asked staff after 45 minutes of waiting for food they seemed to direct the blame on the kitchen however it should be informed when ordering that the wait time will be extreme. Everyone in the restaurant was waiting on food and we all exchanged looks and conversed commonly about how long we were waiting on our food. $36 for pasta and $38 for chicken breast AND Sunday surcharge is way out of anyone’s budget. Food wasn’t bad but taste diminishes when a whole restaurant hasn’t been served food in over 40 minutes. Honestly sad to see customers left to starve with such SMALL PORTIONS FOR OVER $30

We came to stay in our caravan for the two nights free (buy a beer to support the pub) and check out the area... we ended up paying to stay for 2 weeks. Fantastic location, great fishing, Friday pub raffles, friendly locals and travellers. Short drive to Lakes Entrance for supplies. The garlic pizza is a must try (and margarita too) 100% will stay again when next we come through.

A cool spot across from Lake Tyers Beach, nicely decorated, friendly staff and organise some great events . Free camp 🌟Sadly very limited menu with many options not available. The seafood linguini was spaghetti but fresh and tasty. The chef needs lessons on how to prepare Kilpatrick oyster - although fresh and small . Local wi r Lightfood was good. A busy place with potential
