Buffet was terrible. Prime rib overdone with a bad odor. Pretty much all the food was either overcooked or lacking flavor. Presentation was great, wish the flavor matched it. Pasta was watery and bland, which is unfortunate as I was really looking forward to it. The crepes were the only decent thing served today. Glass water bottle had food specks stuck inside. The ad I saw that brought me in advertised for fresh squeezed juice which was not available.

Beautiful seat overlooking the water. Waitress was great! Love the sparkling water! Prime Rib was a special on the menu. I was in my element!

I had the pleasure of dining at Lakehouse in NH for a Christmas Day lunch, and it was absolutely delightful! The meal was exceptional—everything from the perfectly prepared dishes to the heavenly dessert left me impressed. The festive ambiance made the experience even more memorable. The service was outstanding; the staff was warm, attentive, and ensured everything was just right. It’s clear they take pride in creating a wonderful dining experience. I’m already looking forward to returning in the future! Highly recommended for anyone looking for great food and impeccable service.

Lunch while driving through area. Arrived as soon as they opened so no wait for table. Servers were great, food was quick to our table. I had a lobster roll which was excellent, wife had a burger she said was good. Fries were awesome! Great experience, highly recommend!!!

I am posting in regards to my first time ever at the Lakehouse Grille. My sisters and I stopped there after a long day at a recital in Conway. Our waitress was Justina, a wonderful, charismatic, personable and knowledgeable waitress. We had many laughs. Bartender was in tune to what we were looking for in a mixed drink while waiting for food. We all ordered hamburgers and they came not quite the way we had asked but things happen. It was quickly taken care of. The manager Jon apologized profusely. When we received our tab we were surprised that he had taken off the burgers. We were not expecting that, we offered to pay. We ended up tipping generously and off we went. Very satisfied and will go back. We loved Justina!

Google
It was late and we were looking for some place new for dinner so we found Lakehouse Grill in the Church Landing Hotel. We found a seat at the bar which was very comfortable and the woman who waited on us was very nice. The interior has a great feel, you really get the impression this place has been there for 100 years. I was curious when I saw avocado toast with lobster on the menu which, if I wasn’t really hungry, I would have never ordered. But I did. When it came out I was shocked at how amazing it looked and even more amazed at the how delicious it was. My main dish was the vegetable risotto which also looked amazing and was very good, I should have added a few shrimp to go along with it. Overall great experience and we will definitely be back next Summer.

We came for Sunday Brunch on my birthday and were not disappointed! They have so many delicious options on the menu and on the buffet, which is ALL included in the $49 price! We had a beautiful view of the lake and added Mimosas for a little extra birthday fun! We will definitely be back again soon!

We went to the Lakehouse Grille for our anniversary dinner. I wish we had gone there during the daytime to enjoy the great views of Meredith Bay. The service is prompt and the food tasted great. The chicken was so juicy and the lobster roll was packed and so flavorful.

Yelp
Killer brunch!!!!!! Strikingly every single employee, we interacted with was helpful, professional, polite, and super friendly. Our waitress Justina was awesome. Can't wait to get back. !!!!!!!

Yelp
Dinner with Friends Saturday 8/10/2024 @ approximately 5:45-7:45pm Started off in the bar with a bottle Miller Lite (wasn't cold) then opted for a glass of Chardonnay which was good. Bartender was nice and appropriately attentive. My wife had 2 of their signature drinks (Blood Orange Martini and the Pomegranate Ginger Sparkler), which she really enjoyed. I would give the bar experience 4/5 stars. Our friends arrived and we were promptly seated in the dining room. Our waiter was a Matthew, overall he did a nice job. We did have a party of 12 next to us, with several kids, which were a bit loud but certainly not the restaurants fault. We shared the Short Rib Nachos, they were fine, nothing special. Meals: Prime Rib Sandwich with fries, very average Meredith Bay Burger with fries, very average Caesar Salad with shrimp, below average with overcooked shrimp Short Ribs, very average In conclusion nothing was bad, but nothing stood out or had any wow factor. Seemed like the food might have been waiting to come out too long. I would definitely go back and have a drink at the bar. Nicest enough facility (with pleasant lake views) to give a second try for dinner.

Yelp
An absolute must! Came for lunch with a group (including two antsy kiddos) and had a great experience! Love the homey feel of the decor, the vast windows overlooking the lake, and charm of the free cheese and crackers. We enjoyed a round of drinks - local IPAs, pomegranate ginger drink, a rum forward old fashioned, and the banana bread old fashioned. They didn't hold back on the chocolate for the little ones' chocolate milk. The French onion style soup fell short, but we all enjoyed our meals - chicken Milanese, quiche, prime rib sandwich, and burger. Kids chicken tenders was big enough the kiddos could have shared! Service was top notch, and we will be back!

Yelp
Overall this is a wonderful atmosphere with great food the we have found consistently over many years. We do avoid rush times. We came on an off night for our 46th Anniversary. Although they don't take reservations, they went all out for us, table for 2 next to a window, rose in a vase, wonderful cosmo's with a splash of peach schnapps, great beef and fish main courses. Perfect glass of wine. BTW, house salad is classiest I ever had and I've been a world traveler. It's our favorite restaurant in the western lakes region.

Yelp
My goodness would've been wonderful restaurant with great service. The views are breathtaking overlooking the lake and it is such a cool restaurant with its rustic beams etc. The staff was incredibly pleasant. The food was excellent and quite reasonably priced for such a beautiful place. Didn't realize it was part of several restaurants in New Hampshire associated with the common man. We've been to one of the other restaurants and their food was equally as good and service as well

Yelp
It's a nice restaurant with a beautiful view of Meredith Bay. The service we received from Karen was warm and very professional. I was blown away by the food and the prices. I got the lobster avocado toast appetizer. It was three 1/2 slices of bread with avocado, a generous amount of lobster and a garnish of onion and jalapeño. Well worth the $18 price. My partner ordered salmon and it was about a 6 oz portion. The salmon was fresh and cooked to perfection. We'd definitely return here.

Yelp
Staying at the hotel that houses the Lakehouse Grill so we have had a few meals there. Every meal was fantastic. For an app get the short rib nachos! They aren't like typical nachos, you just have to try them. All of their steaks were seared to perfection. The breakfast was great! The corned beef hash is mixed with some perfectly cooked vegetables that made it light and tasty and the home fries also had a delicious different twist. I can't say enough good things. The food is a little pricey but definitely less expensive than other restaurants of similar quality.

Yelp
I went to the Lakehouse Grille two days in a row.The curly/steak fries are the best French fries I've ever had. That is not hyperbole, I am 100% serious. The rest of the food was pretty good too and they are friendly. Good vibe and setting, definitely would recommend

Yelp
Had a wonderful meal last night with friends. Started off with hummus and shrimp as appetizer which was a delightful beginning. Then to lakehouse salad and a piece of salmon! Delicious! Seevice was attentive, ambiance was peaceful and not noisy. Cheese and Crackers in bar area also a nice treat.

Yelp
After our train ride, we were so hungry and the first restaurant that caught our eye that's within the vicinity is the Lakehouse. The restaurant was packed so we opted for the brunch menu and seated ourselves. The waitstaff behind the bar was not that friendly but one wait staff was so nice. We had a nice conversation with him towards the end and gave us some places to check out. The food was just okay, not worth the $49 per person tab plus tip. The only really nice thing about this restaurant is the location. They have a killer view of the water and the building itself has some history to it. Will we come back? No.

Yelp
The short rib nachos were the best I've ever had, absolutely fantastic and I would order them again. The service was great, and location, both beautiful and easy to get to!

Yelp
This place is great for lunch or dinner! Awesome view of the lake. The food is always good, and it's really cute inside, like a cabin. We had Jake as our server recently, he was great! Very attentive, our drinks were always full (including waters) and he came back to check in on us just the right number of times. 10/10 we recommend anytime someone asks us where to go!

Yelp
We stopped in for lunch on a Wednesday and it must be the last day before they refresh the food because it was all old tasting unfortunately. The views and decor never get old Wish they would change it up a little , we love going there

Yelp
DELICIOUS dinner at The Lakehouse in Meredith last night. Goat cheese app, haddock in a buttery lobster sauce (omg it was insanely delicious!!) with fingerling potatoes and asparagus, finished with a lemon cake and green tea. Very flavorful and great food. One complaint was the noise level. We could barely have any sort of conversation as the room was SO loud and echoing with conversations. That is where my deductions come from for this experience. I could barely hear someone right across from me but the entire room was echoing so the other tables seemed amplified. Beautiful decor, great ambiance and definitely a cabin vibe is well portrayed. Our server was sweet, no complaints there - she was a helpful and kind girl, but she was very busy so no points deducted at all for that. menus stayed on the table the entire meal, slow to clear plates ... but like I said there was so much going on- this girl was busting her bum and I appreciated that. She was working hard and was still pleasant, that made a good impression and I was grateful for her positive attitude under pressure. She gets 5 stars from me, she has been here for five years and then came back... what a sweet girl. I definitely will be back and try some of the other options that struck my fancy!! :) great job and nice to have this gem close. It was night time so there was no view besides the dark lake with the lights of boats passing by and giving a twinkle. Being a local I know what's back there and bet it's gorgeous!!! They do a brunch/breakfast as well that was shown on the board as we left - opens for 7:30am so I bet that's good, that's on my list to try!!!

Yelp
I have been to the Lakehouse Grille many times and like it. However, tonight we were unable to have dinner there despite arriving at 8 pm (closing is 9). The hostess said that she was told not to seat any more diners (even with an hour to go) because they were a bit short staffed (note: there were no people waiting, many tables free, etc.) This happened tonight, Tuesday, July 2nd. This is considered the height of the summer season here in Meredith, NH. Really unfortunate. I think that their treatment of customers deserves more respect, and if they are short staffed, so be it.

Yelp
AVOID this place unless you have 1.5-2hrs to spare for lunch. I wish I would have read the reviews sooner. I'm not sure if it is ownership, poor management, staffing issues, or kitchen issues, but our experience was abysmal. My husband and I went for lunch. We were seated at 2:03pm and it took our waitress about 10 minutes to welcome herself and grab drink orders. That should have been our cue to go, but we gave it a shot. Terrible decision on our end. We put in orders for appetizers at 2:10. About 20 minutes later, we put in our entree orders as we noticed that food was taking a long time to come out of the kitchen. Our appetizers arrived at 2:40. One of them was a cup of soup....30 minutes to serve a soup? C'mon. To make matters worse, after we ate our appetizers, our waitress came to retrieve the plates and asked us if we wanted to look at a dessert menu, my husband and I stared at her confused. I explained that those plates were our appetizer plates, and that we were waiting on entrées. it was clear that she completely forgot to put in our entrée orders Our entrees didn't arrive until 3:35 and at that point we were one of three tables left for lunch service. I've never had such a horrendous dining experience before, especially at a place of this caliber. My husband and I couldn't figure out why it took so long.m, until we realized there were THREE different private events being hosted in the property, including two weddings. So is this an ownership issue or a management issue??7 it was clear that they were not prepared for the volume of customers + events they were hosting. I recommend that ownership really consider: - limiting the restaurant capacity to half so that the quality of food and service is expedited OR -limit the amount of private events so that they can handle the volume of clients at the restaurant -increase staffing in the kitchen so that the line runs smoother and food is cooked quicker. We will not be returning.

Yelp
What a view and fantastic food!!! We loved the restaurant and highly recommend it. Be patient as they are short staffed but worth the wait. I forgot to snap pics of the desserts bc we ate them so quickly. We had the crab cakes, lobster rolls, chicken Milanese, side salad, avocado toast and lobster Mac and cheese. All were delicious. The crab cake could use more jump Crab bc it was a little dense with filling but still tasted great. The lobster roll snd avocado toast were perfect. The chicken Milanese was such a pleasant surprise and a very large portion. We loved the side salad wrapped in cucumber with candied pecans and Parmesan. Fantastic! We sat in the room with the windows. Such an amazing view. Make a reservation bc it gets crowded. We loved the complimentary cheese and crackers. The pub cheese (not sure what kind it was) was fantastic!!! We had the lemon cake, cheesecake, and crème brûlée for dessert. The cheesecake with raspberry sauce was to die for! It was light and whipped with a graham cracker crust. Soooo good! Pros: Really great services Nice staff Delicious food Great view Cons: Long wait so make a reservation Food took a little longer than expected but again worth the wait.

Yelp
We took our Norway nephew there as he had heard about the New England lobster roll and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. The restaurant is pleasant enough and our waiter quick and attentive. However, the lobster roll was a disappointment... the meat had bits of shell in it, there was little to no dressing in the lobster salad and I would say, the lobster pieces had just come out of the freezer. My wife ordered the lobster chowder... what arrived was a lumpy white sauce with a table spoon's worth of lobster meat in a dollop on top. Tasteless and insulting. To top it off, an employee called the police because we had left our dog in the car. When the policeman arrived, he was quite upset with the complainant as the dog was fine... in the shade with windows open. A fine cap to a very mediocre lunch. We will not be back.

Yelp
My experience at Lakehouse Grille, with my party of 15, was really wonderful! Our server was next level good! When my son ordered something off the adult menu, she came over to our adult table and let us know he may not like the dish. She was right. He chose something else. I was impressed with that. They have a make your own spiked seltzer. I had Tito's and soda, strawberry puree, and blueberries. It was SO refreshing and delicious. The apps we ordered were great- my person favorite were the deviled eggs and the baked goat cheese (be ready for a little spice). I ordered the tuxedo tuna minus the tuxedo (black and white sesame seeds). It was wonderful. The seaweed salad took it to the next level. We did not order dessert. The atmosphere is quaint. The view from our table was lovely. The manager came by to check on us, which was a nice touch. We told him too, that our server was so impressive. (One thing, we are from CT and we have lobster rolls here. The lobster roll on the menu is not hot, but a cold lobster salad. My friend did not love it but I think it's because we are not used to it. It was clear from the menu description, but she thought she would try anyway.) My daughter had the lobster avocado toast for her meal and it was a fan favorite! Instagram @datenightcraves

Yelp
The indoor location was very beautiful and had a nice view of the lake. The decor was well thought out and very cozy. The food however took ages to come and when it did, it was rather mediocre. My friends and I were hungry so it served its purpose for satiating our hunger, but I wouldn't go back for lack of flavor. I got the special chicken pulled tacos which surprisingly came with no sauce or any kind and the tacos looked rather dried. My other friend got the avocado lobster toast and I had a bite of it... it was so fishy. My other friend got the quiche and while I didn't try it, she had stated it was rather heavy

Yelp
This is our go-to restaurant when guests come to visit in Meredith, consistently excellent. Try to get a spot by the windows overlooking the lake.

Yelp
I love the Lakehouse Grille. The bar is great location to look out over Lake Winni! Great wines by the glass list to accompany all food items. The Lobster roll at $29 is a steal, huge with unique French fries that are really good! They've definitely cut down on lobster in the chowder but still delicious. Ambiance is fun and so comforting!

Yelp
It was really good from the French onion soup to crème brûlée. We would definitely go again. Lovely service and attentiveness. Come and enjoy the food!

Yelp
This is a classic New England restaurant on a beautiful lake.We sat at the bar overlooking the lake.Completely enjoyed our food which highlighted the views. This is a place you should not pass.

Yelp
The 12oz burger is wayyyyyyy to much meat. Not even a tasty burger. I guess the Lake House grill is going for quantity v quality????? Rip off, not going back.

Yelp
Excellent! Service was extraordinary. Very friendly and accommodating wait staff. Great views of Lake Winnipesaukee. I had Caesar salad with steak tips. The dressing was applied lightly and the tips were delicious. My wife had Turkey and avocado sandwich on a warm croissant. She said she would definitely order it again. We were very happy that we stopped into the Lakehouse Grille on our way through Meredith.

Yelp
The Best lobster Avocado toast ever. The avocado is a very very flavorful mousse. Everything was very well made and it is a nice place to sit and enjoy the lake views. The Blood orange martini was excellent. The lobster corn chowder was a huge hit with my daughter.

Yelp
Delicious meal. Exceptional service. We loved the drinks, scallops, short ribs, roasted chicken, and flourless chocolate cake. Plenty of gluten-free options. Can't wait to come back!

Yelp
While visiting my daughter who was performing at the Lake Winnepesaukee Playhouse for Christmas, We went to dinner at the Lakehouse Grille both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Every single person there epitomized hospitality. Here they are working a holiday, with joy and generosity! The food was wonderful the selections varied and yummy and so beautifully presented . By feeding, nourishing us with such a welcoming spirit while we were far from home , the Lakehouse Grille staff, chefs, waiters all gave us a wonderful Christmas gift in spirit. Thank you!!!

Yelp
How this has four stars on here is mind-boggling... Firstly, we had to go up and ask for water from the bar as it hadn't been brought to us. Ordered a filet mignon steak "medium" and what came out was the worst steak I've ever had in my life. I don't think the cut was actually filet. I had to borrow ketchup from my husband's meal to add flavor. It was tough chewy and incinerated. We spent $100 on this meal and would have been better off with sandwiches from the Meredith Station Mobil Mart (no, actually, their sandwiches are quite good).

Yelp
The first thing to note about this restaurant is that the location is supreme overlooking Meredith Bay as a part of the Cathedral Landing building of the Mill Falls hotel group. Moreover, the rustic ambiance is very welcoming and warm. I appreciated the courtesy and professionalism as well. The host kindly explained that they were understaffed and that same day call-ahead seating would be difficult. Because we were resort guests, that helped us get on the list. I need to give our waitress, Danielle, a particular shout out. She was kind, professional and had a pleasant personality. The menu is small, but the food was delectable. With the understaffing, everything took a bit longer to come out, drinks and food, but we had a nice view at the window and were just happy to relax and wait. We ordered the Deviled Eggs with crispy pork belly and onion jam and the Baked Goat Cheese to be brought out as appetizers, and then decided to just share a Prime Rib Sandwich. The deviled eggs were good, and the onion jam added a nice sweet addition. The baked goat cheese was served with mini slices of a grilled baguette. The goat cheese itself was flavorful, but a bit overpowered by the amount of tomatoes in the pomodoro sauce. For the shared entree, the french fries were the most unique shape I have ever seen (see attached pics) and the prime rib was tender and was perfectly accompanied by the horseradish aioli. I would happily dine here again and look forward to our next trip to the Lakehouse Grille!

Yelp
Wow I was not expecting this! A menu with plenty of unique options as well as your usual suspects, and really good seafood. The tuna on scallion pancake appetizer was really amazing, highly recommend that. My tuna entree was also incredible. The lobster roll was also really good, my husband enjoyed that thoroughly. As for wine pours, they were certainly generous! Great service, we felt welcomed, and our one year old was plenty entertained with the crayons and coloring pages. If we're on vacation in the area again we'll be sure to stop by!

Yelp
Sat there for 20 minutes and no one acknowledged our presence, other tables were being served and a lady went table to asking if everything was fine with their experience and we totally got overlooked, so disappointed was looking forward to a nice anniversary dinner. Went to another restaurant in the area

Yelp
Great food , service and view ! Had a delicious burger and house made chips! Will definitely return!

Yelp
Absolutely our go-to place in Meredith for a mid-week drink or dinner. Most of the bar seats have a nice lake view. Like all Common Man locations, very well managed and staffed. The menu, while not huge, provides a number of options from salads to steaks. Speaking of...they recently upgraded to in-house butchering and the beef is top notch. Management and staff are awesome and most are long-term teammates, as in 10+ yrs. a rarity in food service. Huge shout out to the hardworking bartenders who always wear a smile and are ready to offer a suggestion. Fair warning that due to the number wedding parties, esp. May-Sept, the bar can get very busy as groups gather before heading downstairs or outside.

Yelp
Gorgeous atmosphere year round Delicious food - excellent service Beautiful lake views

Yelp
07/2019 Definitely a better visit even though my steak was over cooked but the manager made sure it was fixed. We started with the crab cake which was good but seemed slightly undercooked and the shrimp cocktail which was so fresh, large and delicious. Someone had the filet that they ordered rare but came out med rare. I had the club cut steak (think cut almost looked like a filet) which I ordered med rare but came out med ( unacceptable so I sent it back and they grilled another) Someone had the burger that was cooked well Two people had the salmon and it was ok but over cooked in my humble opinion. The manager was great through the whole process which is excellent to see 07/2018 Burgers were over cooked, tuna certainly didn't taste or look like ahi, duck was dry and flavorless, the cauliflower rice that accompanied a lot of the entree needs to be dis continued or traded for a better option. Best thing was the lobstah corn cho

Yelp
Boyfriend and I went here during a night away staying at one of the Mill Falls Inns. After we checked in to the inn at 3pm, we walked over to the restaurant and asked if they took reservations for which they said they did not. We were told by the Inn staff though that we would get priority seating because we were inn guests though so we thought that was cool, and we were told to call the restaurant to get said priority seating when we wanted to eat. Fast forward a few hours later and when we called the restaurant we were told it was "all booked up" for the whole night so wouldn't be able to dine there after all. We talked with Jason at the restaurant and explained what we had been told at Inn checkout and there was some sort mixup in the communication since we were told "no reservations" but then also told we could get priority seating which did not happen. So, still not sure if this place takes reservations or not, that is the only thing we are still confused about. However, Jason was extremely helpful and told us to call back in an hour to see if he could get us in, and sure enough we were able to get in! So despite the little mixup no loss of stars there for what Jason did for us. When we did get into the restaurant, we also seemed to get the best seat in the entire place, overlooking the lake. The decor was rustic and cozy and it was a perfect date night spot. Our waiter Dan was friendly and we enjoyed chatting with him. We ordered a ribeye and a filet, and I also got a drink. The cheese and crackers served beforehand was delicious. The steaks were very good, not the absolute best we have ever had compared to some fancy steakhouses, but tasty nonetheless. At dessert time, we had already had ice cream sundaes from Kellerhaus earlier in the day, so weren't in a sweets mood, so Dan brought us another plate of cheese and crackers to finish our night. When the final check came, Dan brought us some chocolate bark to take home which I'm not sure if that is common here or not (didn't see any other reviews mentioning it), but we enjoyed some later and it was really good! After almost thinking our date night here wouldn't happen at all, it turned out to be an awesome night with the best view, friendly service and staff, and really good food. Would definitely go back, although now we feel spoiled and would always want to get the table we had again! A great place to visit when up in the Meredith area for sure!

Yelp
Seriously good American pub food. We had lunch here on an early season trip to Meredith. We sat in the bar overlooking the lake. We started with the lobster avocado toast. My only issue with this place really is this plate. I feel like all the Ingredients are there but the execution of the actual sandwich does not work. Needs more base avocado for starters, and cover the whole piece of bread. From there it only got better. We had good service let's just get that out of the way. I got the Prime Rib sandwich on an onion roll. It was very tender and cooked perfectly, it was a good sandwich and stuffed with beef and a light horseradish sauce, very light on the HR. The fries were part of the magic here, they are a different c shape fry. This has a lot of creamy potato per bite, they were hot when they came out, thats a big grading point for me. Only problem is my wife loved them more than I did and focused a lot of energy "sharing" with me. She got the shrimp salad which looks very good and she said was amazing. So good all around!

Yelp
Lakehouse Grille, in the words of Guy Fieri, is the bomb. Sparkling water wash perfectly refreshing, onion soup piping hot and delicious and the lobster roll was too big to eat with your hands. Can't wait to come back again.

Vincent H.

Yelp
Arrived at 5:30 pm. Ordered fairly quickly. No bread offered even when other tables were given bread. We then waited 1 hour and 10 minutes before the food arrived. By this time the place was filled with lots of diners and the noise level was quite high. The food was okay, but our mood was, by this point, very frustrated at the lack of food arriving. The manager came to our table when we expressed dissatisfaction with the delays. Admittedly, the meal check was comped. But I doubt we'll ever go there again despite being area residents.

Ann R.

Yelp
We had breakfast for Fathers Day this morning at the Lakehouse. It was a little disappointing and I have never before had any reason to gripe with any of the C'Man restaurants before. Maybe breakfast is not their specialty? Two out of our party requested the corned beef hash which was listed as a choice on the limited menu but the waitress said they were all out. My husband instead ordered the egg breakfast over easy and asked for strawberry jam for his toast. The eggs were over hard with one slice of toast and no jam was delivered. I ordered the lobster Benedict it was good but it wasn't fresh lobster it was more like lobster meat. I would recommend dinners for sure but not breakfast at the Lakehouse.
google avatar

Olivia N.

Yelp
Cute atmosphere, the food menu was a bit limited for lunch but my husband got the salmon and I got a Reuben sandwich with potato salad. The potato salad was not very good, but the sandwich was good and my husband liked the salmon a lot! The server was nice enough but didn't seem to have much interest in explaining the menu or answering questions we had. It was a nice view of the lake.

Brynn S.

Yelp
Wonderful, inviting atmosphere. I appreciated the open space and the large windows looking out over the water. The food was excellent - flavorful and playful. We also really appreciated our waitress, she was very kind and down to earth. It was a lovely place to get lunch and drinks after going to the spa!

Yelp
This was the first stop on my anniversary weekend to NH with my boyfriend. I planned that we would start here before walking around Mill Falls. We got here at about 1:30 for a later lunch on a Saturday and were seated right away. My boyfriend thought I called ahead because we were given the best table in the place - a 2-seater by the window with a beautiful view of the lake. He didn't believe me when I said it was just luck. The other tables around us were full, including a few large parties. We honestly were just lucky to get the best seat in the house! Since we were celebrating, we started off with a couple of martinis. I had the blood orange martini (Tito's, blood orange liqueur, sparkling wine) and the bf had the hot and dirty (Tito's, olive juice, tobasco w/ a celery salt rim and bleu cheese olive). We both really enjoyed our drinks. For lunch, I had the shrimp cobb and he had the reuben. He loves himself a reuben sandwich and was pleased with the Lakehouse version. My shrimp cobb was large in size and had plenty of shrimp, avocado and egg to make me happy. I just wish it had also had bacon like a typical cobb salad. That would have elevated it to superb. The restaurant also has all you can eat cheese and crackers in the lounge area, so that was a nice touch before we dug into our entrees. Between the view, the food and the drinks, this is somewhere I would come again if I'm in the area.

Yelp
Food Service and Ambiance were really excellent. Our table over looked the lake. The server was excellent.. knowledgeable and attentive without being intrusive. Food was very good.

Yelp
The view of Meredith Bay was lovely even on a cloudy evening. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the food good. I enjoyed the signature cucumber-ribbon- wrapped salad.
