Stayed here overnight before taking the ferry from Yarmouth to Portland, ME. First impression of the place is very favorable. The outside of the property is certainly well kept with fresh paint. The rooms, however, are standard motel rooms and the bathroom is microscopic. The presence of a microwave and small fridge in each room is a plus, but the lack of a coffee maker is a big minus. Unfortunately, I didn't research this well enough, so it's my fault, but the rooms are NOT air-conditioned so in the summer, it is quite warm, even in the evenings. With the overhead fan and another floor fan going full blast all night, it was still a restless night's sleep. At a price of $175 CAD (incl. taxes), that really bites.
A continental breakfast is included with the room rate and this is available at 630AM for those who need to catch the ferry by 730AM, or you can upgrade to a full, deluxe breakfast for $23 CAD more + tax.
