Lakeshore Hotel Hsinchu Metropolis

I stayed here for two weeks while visiting family and loved it. The staff speak wonderful English, they greet me with a friendly smile every time I leave or arrive and are very helpful. As a middle aged woman staying in a foreign country on my own, I felt extremely safe walking to and from my son's house, and welcomed at the hotel. Very clean, wonderful housekeeping service. Comfortable room, luxurious bed linens. I plan to stay here again next year when I return. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great stay overall! The hotel is a bit far from the train station, but it’s next to Big City mall which has a shuttle bus to and from the station, so it’s very convenient. Staff were super friendly and helpful — we checked in late around 10 p.m. and they even offered a late checkout. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable with USB and Type-C charging. Breakfast was delicious with lots of variety, though a bit crowded. Highly recommend!

Good location, short walk to Big City mall. Room was clean and big. Comfortable bed. Good breakfast spread. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely pick this hotel if I'm back to Hsinchu again.

Stayed for a night only. The bed was comfortable, had a very good sleep. Good location, walkable to Big City mall. Friiendly staff. Breakfast selection was ok, quite abit of variety.

Room was so so like 3.5 stars hotel. But the breakfast was good as it provided many options for Taiwanese cuisines.

The stay here was nice and quiet. The room fit our family well. The breakfast was good, but kind of expensive for what it was. The staff were very helpful. It cost 100ntd use a self service laundry downstairs. Personally I’d just use the laundromat on the corner down the road for the same price and they will do it for you. All in all, a solid place to stay.

After spending so much for the room, to find out that the isn't working well. Even with 2 fans still feeling humid. Requested to switch room unsuccessful. According to the staff, all the room is fully occupied. Trying to compensate us with mere sparkling water.

The room is very clean and quiet. The bathroom, however, is a bit dated and has limited space for "ladies' toiletries and makeup." The sink area is small, so you may need to place your items outside the bathroom. They use an old-fashioned shower curtain to prevent water from splashing around the bathroom, which I haven't seen in a while. Aside from the bathroom, I have no complaints about the overall experience.
