Lakeside Bar Beach & Restaurant

A friend brought me here on a Sunday evening, and so far, it’s my favorite spot on the Lake Kivu shoreline in Gisenyi. We tried some food, and one of the screens was showing live football. Great crowd, excellent music.

Ordered virgin Mojito and it was not mojito , I got only mint, lemon, sparkling water and unknown syrup. Tried to explain but got no answer at all. The price was equivalent to Long Island 😂😂

We came for the boat trip and then stayed for dinner as the boat guy was very nice and told us the food was good. I'd say the food was decent, and we had a nice waitress so we stayed a while. Very similar to Sagabay next door

We visited the restaurant because we had a boat pick up from here. The restaurant gives you a fantastic view of the lake kivu, an access to swimming on the lake. Their waiters were very polite, and the ambience was generally nice.

Lakeside a very wonderful place, with quick service and a very humble manager. The way the place is quiet 👌🏿👌🏿👌🏿. A nice lakeside but need more innovation and some lake sits. All I can say is the best sunset view you can get while you're in that place. And I am very sure that things missing, they will add them. ✅

Seems like a new-ish place that’s still not on the radar of blogs and travel books. Huge menu and some amazing lakeside seats & views.

Really liked this place, the food was good, the service was great & the lake front location is awesome. The ambiance was really nice & the owners Liban & Ilyas were just amazing. They went an extra mile to make us feel comfortable Highly recommend this place

Quality food, nice lake and sunset view, but service needs much improvement. Waiting for food for more than 2 hours is too much.
