Lakeside Chophouse & Wine Bar

Our lakeside table was ready and waiting when Addie, our amazing hostess, met and sat us down. We had an AMAZING dinner served to us fresh, hot and absolutely delicious. The Parmesan Crusted Chicken and Prime Rib was to die for. Sydney took great care of us, right down to the chocolate cake. (Sorry no picture as we ate it too fast) Thank you again for the 10/10 experience, and we look forward to spending next years anniversary there. Best food, service and view in Waterton. 👍🏼

Staff were so friendly and accommodating. We requested to be seated outside in the patio because the lake view was very beautiful. However the two tables we got didn’t have umbrella and it was 29degrees C, very sunny and hot. I requested our group to be moved inside without any problem. 3 staff helped us very quickly to move inside including our drinks, utensils, etc. When our order came, we were very surprised how big the servings were. The food was fantastic! Kudos to the staff! After eating we just went for a stroll on the lakeside behind the restaurant.

Very nice restaurant overlooking the lake. Friendly staff and very accommodating. I ordered the cauliflower steak and my husband the lobster and prawns linguini. The pasta was absolutely delicious and very spicy. (It was fine for us but for those that can't handle lots of spice be warned) The cauliflower steak was bland not spiced at all but the onions and mushrooms were tasty. The roasted potatoes listed on the menu were actually fried per the server. So be aware if you're trying to be healthy. That should actually be changed on the menu if they continue to serve fried potatoes. The salad with Parmesan cheese was really good.

Lakeside Chophouse & Wine Bar in Waterton is a true gem! From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking lakeside views set the tone for an exceptional dining experience. The ambiance is both elegant and inviting, perfect for a special night out. The service was amazing. Our server was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. We started with a few appetizers and absolutely loved the crab cake. For the main course, the braised short rib was cooked to perfection, and the seafood pasta was a standout with its rich, savory flavors. The wine list was impressive, featuring a well-curated selection that complemented our meal beautifully. Overall, this restaurant offers a top-notch dining experience with stunning views, exceptional food, and outstanding service. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Waterton!

On our last day in Waterton, we wanted to try a different restaurant - so we ended up in Chophouse. We were seated right away. However, if you want the patio, you will need a reservation. Note: We visited during Labor Day weekend. Our server was a really nice person. I believe his name is Taras. Kudos to him! Food serving was really generous. My sister-in-law's chicken teriyaki bowl can feed two people! The steak that I ordered was cooked perfectly. It was very tender. My brother ordered butter chicken, and that was tasty as well. I think they charged fairly for the taste and amount of food served. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful lakeside dinner . Great atmosphere. Fabulous service. Both our meals were delicious and full of flavour. The cheesecake was to good.

This is the place if you want to go for a fine dining experience in Waterton. Great view by the mountain ranges and lake. Our host-guy was fast and attentive to our needs. They have crayons and booklet for toddlers. The food we ordered were all okay, but nothing special about it. We got the Calamari, Cod fish and chips (the fish cooked a bit soggy), and Shrimp fettuccini tasted bland. Their back lawn is perfect for wedding venue. No parking spot outside, but very walkable from town hotels.

The Brie was very good. But it is a simple dish to cook anyways. Steak was overcooked to medium although I asked for medium rare. But other than that, the steak was good. The mashed potato had too much milk and not creamy enough. My friend had the poke bowl and that was bad, not worth $10, let alone $28 that they charged. Specifically, the rice was rock hard and too dry; and the mangoes were also rock hard, I think they might have used Mexican mangoes instead of Southeast Asian mangoes. But I mean what can we expect for ordering a seafood item in a region that is not known for seafood. Waitress stared at me as I tipped. Disrespectful. So many flies indoors, they could have done something about it such as closing the entrance to the outside seating area. I compared this restaurant against the standardized top-notch steak house in Asia.
