This is one of the best bed and breakfasts I have ever stayed at and I travel a lot. The house is fresh, clean and spotless and Sherie the owner goes out of her way to make you feel as though you are at home; except she does many other things that you may not get at home like a chocolate on your pillow at night. I stayed here for a week and it more than met my needs. My rate included a continental breakfast, there is very good wi-fi, laundry facilities are good, I was given a late check out and Sherie gave me some discount vouchers for various entertainment venues around Perth.
At hotels they usually rip you off for snacks in the room and the range is usually not that great at hotels either. Sherie provides a nice variety of in-room snacks and prices are very reasonable. There are grocery shops within walking distance if you need to do some shopping and it is close to the main travel routes to get around Perth.
I will definitely stay there again and highly recommend Lakeside Retreat.
