Lakeview Gimli Resort

Service: great. Location: great. Decor: welcome to 1990. The hotel needs a major overhaul. It’s so outdated that the bathrooms still have the old 50 litre/flush toilets, and the tiles in our bathroom needed regrouting. The only reason we continue to stay here is because there’s no better option.

Staff was very friendly and responsive. Rooms are a bit run down, but very clean and the beds were comfortable. The view from the restaurant is amazing!

Unable to control heat in room. Heating system continuously pumped heat regardless of temp and fan settings. Terribly uncomfortable pillows.||||On the positive, we enjoyed the food we ate in the Seagull bar. Having indoor access to Robin's is convenient... however, I don't like Robin's coffee as it is too weak for me.

Stayed at the Lakeview for three days two nights end of dec 2024 it was terrific! Clean rooms great amenities! So much to do within walking distance!!! Will go again for sure!

We stayed here as a family of 5, in the middle of winter for a hockey tournament. We loved it so much we are hoping to go back in the summer months. Great location, with great amenities.

Great location, nice pool and small hot tub. Stayed for 3 days and was able to walk to nearby pubs and restaurants. Midweek in winter it was a nice quiet get away.

Facility was nice. Staff was pleasant and very helpful. Room temperature was difficult to regulate properly without a proper thermostat but wasn’t too bad. I would stay here again

Our original plans were to stay December 11and 12th, but due to our school bus breaking down we weren't able to commute back-and-forth to Fisher River for a volleyball tournament. So we ended up leaving a day early. We had to cancel our six rooms and the staff at the Lakeview dealt with our concerns in a professional manner and didn't charge us any additional fees..
