Amazing little tapas bar, which is hard to find and difficult to forget. Located on a narrow street in the medieval Jewish quarter, the entrance is easy to miss, so look for the huge melted candle behind the dark window. The inside is as dark and narrow, but the reception is friendly and the regional dishes will make you want to come again. We took traditional fish tapas (interestingly, one resembled the famous Boston lobster roll) and were happy with the choice.

Such good margaritas with plenty of tapas options!
The food offer was so delicious, but portion sizes differ a lot. So for a hungry person, maybe go with 3-4 per person :) some were relatively small (peppers with goat cheese), whereas the hummus or tapas of the month are much larger.
The tapas of the month was perhaps the best one, it was mortadella with burrata and honey, drizzled with crushed pistachio on rustic bread.. hope they make this one a permanent.
Highly recommend the margaritas too, and the sangria was quite good!

Great food. Lots of options to include vegetarian. Everything is freshly made. We had the 1/2 meat board, toast with blue cheese walnuts and honey, along with the hummus and lamb. Everything was delicious. We will definitely be back.

We had such a lovely evening at La Alcoba Azur in the Gothic Quarter. It’s a small, cozy spot with a rustic, relaxed atmosphere. The food was absolutely amazing — the whipped feta was especially to die for! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. We would definitely come back again!

We stopped in for a few drinks and ended up staying because the vibe was incredible—moody, artsy, and cozy. Then I saw the cod carpaccio on the menu and had to try it. Absolutely to die for. Fresh, bright, perfectly balanced… so good we ordered a second one on the spot. Great cocktails, great atmosphere, and seriously unforgettable food. A must-stop.

La Alcoba Azul is now on my list of favorite restaurants in the world. Wowwwww. Wind your way through the labyrinth of Barcelona's ancient streets and enter another world with floors and stone walls that date back to the 12th century. Then come the mind-blowing tapas with subtle flavor layers that make each bite better than the last. The waiter recommended the pulpo, which was was so insanely good, i am returning today. From tapas to jazz music, service, ambience and understated style, this spot surely rates as one of the best in the world.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Pimientos Rellenos
Patata acordeón
Pulpo con salsa miso
Pollo satay con salsa cacahuetes
Presa ibérica sobre parmentier de boniato

The food and atmosphere are incredible and Serena is phenomenal at making you feel welcome. My favorite restaurant by far in Spain! Don't miss the Octopus and Chocolate Coulant for desert. It was so special I went twice and was my #1 dining experience for sure!!!
