During our recent trip to Mysore, visiting Lalitha Palace Mahal was initially optional. However, after noticing the crowds at other attractions and seeing one of my friends feeling disappointed about missing out on good photo opportunities, I decided to take them to this beautiful palace. It turned out to be one of the best decisions of our trip!
Upon arrival, we were greeted at the security gate, where they asked whether we were staying or just visiting. The entry fee for visitors is ₹100 per person, which I found to be very reasonable considering what we got in return. Not only did we gain access to this stunning palace, but we also received complimentary tea or coffee and biscuits that we could claim inside by showing our tickets.
The palace itself is a photographer's dream! With its magnificent architecture and beautiful surroundings, we were able to capture some truly stunning photos without the hassle of large crowds. In fact, it was quite peaceful compared to other tourist spots, allowing us to enjoy our time and take our time with the photography.
We had a fantastic time exploring the palace and indulging in the complimentary snacks. The combination of beautiful scenery, fewer visitors, and a relaxed atmosphere made our visit to Lalitha Palace Mahal truly enjoyable. If you're looking for a picturesque spot in Mysore where you can take great photos without the crowds, I highly recommend making a stop here!
