Staff behaves rudely if you ask for more clarification. We are expected to go to reception to get something because on call they do not give proper response. I do not recommend stay in this hotel. Better to buy Rs. 100 ticket and take pictures.

Location, building is best. Its a Grand beautiful palace. Deluxe Rooms are ok ok. Old Furniture and old rusty look. Breakfast was good. Housekeeping is not up to mark. Needs improvement. One can stay here to have a palace experience at reasonable cost

The traditional ambience of the hotel is great. We will feel like living in the past. The property is great for people loving silence and nature. We could see rabbits hopping around at night from the balcony. Considering amenities and breakfast, there is scope for much improvement. Overall it's a great experience to stay, especially at night.

The property is royal and historical, our stay was very good. Some points of improvement - it needs better maintenance. Bathroom fittings need repairs. Breakfast does not have any live counter and they provide pre-decided menu. We requested for bed accessories for the baby, they said they will comeback but we did not hear back from them. Swimming pool also needs better maintenance

A perfect getaway to unwind in a serene environment, surrounded by nature’s soothing sounds. Staff were extremely polite and welcoming. Mysore-style dishes served were authentic and full of flavour. The peaceful atmosphere, royal architecture, and timeless charm make it a truly memorable experience..!!!

We visited Lalitha Mahal Palace on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised to find it not too crowded — which made for a calm, unhurried experience. The entry fee was ₹100 per person, and it included a complimentary welcome drink, which was a nice gesture. The palace itself is breathtaking — a beautiful blend of regal architecture and historic elegance. The interiors, with their grand halls, chandeliers, and antique furniture, truly transport you back to the royal era. It’s easy to see why many movies have been filmed here, including the famous Tamil movie Muthu starring Rajinikanth. The cinematic atmosphere adds another layer of charm to the visit. Whether you’re a history lover, architecture enthusiast, or someone just looking for a quiet cultural escape in Mysore, Lalitha Mahal Palace is definitely worth a visit.

Palace turned hotel managed by JLR ( Jungle Lodges and Resorts ) group. I recently had the pleasure of staying at The Lalit Palace Mysore, and it truly exceeded my expectations! The hotel's majestic architecture and stunning gardens transported me to a bygone era of royal grandeur. The rooms were lavishly appointed with elegant furnishings, and the service was impeccable. The staff were warm and attentive, catering to every need with a smile. The highlight was the delicious breakfast spread, featuring local specialties. Not many international cuisines or variety available on the breakfast spread. The scenic views of the palace gardens from the dining area added to the flavours.Obviously you can also sit and enjoy in the garden area. They have seating arrangements there as well. If you're looking for a luxurious and regal experience in Mysore, Hotel Lalit Palace can be truly considered. Overall it was good experience however reduced one star, as I felt there are many areas of negligence and they can do better.

I am extremely disappointed with the stay here .. I wish I had booked some where else .. wonderful property but lacks care absolutely.. honestly a heritage property with premium room charges doesn’t have to stink like pee due to mildew . The staffs confirmed that because of poor ventilation the room stinks. We got our room changed from Room number 22 to 24 eventually the second room started stinking as well. Not sure if anyone ever reported this earlier to the management . the family staying in the next room approached us and confirmed if we were having the same issue . Service and staff I had no issues at all but oh my God the maintenance of the property and the stench unfortunately is extremely poor ! The television didn’t connect to wifi The curtains were extremely dirty No issues with bed linens though The main grand staircase had bird poop which hadn’t been cleaned Overall not at all worth the price
