My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner while hanging out in the Montmartre neighborhood of Paris. Full of locals and a perfect departure from the brasserie cuisine that we had been enjoying the previous days. We speak English and only a handful of French and never once felt uncomfortable. The service was polished, warm and inviting.
Our bottle of 2021 Pomerol perfectly complimented every dish and at €55 it was a solid value.
The menu is compact and seasonal. The zucchini flowers were phenomenal and not fried and heavy, as we are accustomed to seeing. Beautifully plated as well
My teriyaki tuna with roasted eggplant, garlic chips and crispy rice was perfect and my wife's duck breast was the best that we had during our short time in Paris
We also had the chocolate mousse on olive oil and see salt for dessert. No picture, but it was a top 5 all time dessert for me
I would not hesitate to book a table at this charming, off the beaten path Gem. Much looking forward to next year!
