"Spend the entire day on the beach. Little rocky beaches dot the coastline, and the most memorable one to me was Lama Monachile. You set your towel down on a rock, and dive into water that’s shades of blue and green I don’t even know how to describe."

❄️ A winter sea so quiet, it felt like time had stopped. I visited this beach in winter I thought it would be a small, charming beach — but in person, it felt much deeper, quieter especially with hardly anyone around. The only sound was the gentle rhythm of waves. I stood there for a long while, just watching the sea spray hit the rocks, feeling completely at peace. Such a special place — simple, quiet, and utterly calming.

A beautiful beach to admire. It was crowded but it’s really worth it to see it and walk there. I haven’t had the time to sit and swim there, but there we’re a lot of people enjoying to do it. Also, bring special shoes because you cannot walk properly both on the beach and water. All in all, it’s a magical place.

An amazing place with breathtaking views! Turquoise water, steep cliffs, and a picturesque beach create an unforgettable atmosphere. Perfect for photos and relaxing moments. It can get crowded during the high season, but it’s definitely worth it! 🏖️📸

Busy, rough and exciting, at the same time. Spent a few days, so we saw from smooth to really rough sea. Doesn't matter, the beach is beautiful to look at from the top. That said, if you want to venture going in instead, try to arrive really early. Arriving late can also work, but at least in July, the sun is gone by then

A stunning rocky cove just 15 minutes on foot from the train station. In the middle of summer, with 35°C heat, it’s no surprise the beach gets super busy. Personal space is basically nonexistent, so if that doesn’t bother you—and you’re not too worried about leaving your belongings unattended—you’ll enjoy a refreshing swim in this beautiful spot. And if you’re brave like my husband, climb the cliff and take the plunge into the crystal-clear waters for a thrilling, unforgettable experience. Definitely a must on your to-do list in Italy

Very beautiful place. Still springy-ish with a chance of some rain, so swimming was not an option. Wind did not help at this time as it was strong wind. But beautiful town and coast

Beautiful beach, however it requires you to park and walk about 10mins to get there. Once on the beach there is very limited space for laying down a towel, was extremely crowded. Cigarette butts everywhere unfortunately. Rocks are hard to walk on entering the ocean - recommend water shoes! It is gorgeous though.

I would say this is the main attraction of the town. Had the potential to be a complete tourist trap but fortunately it still has an authentic vibe to it. Bring shoes, a comfortable blanket and a cooler

Yelp
Sometimes, the best surprises come when you're expecting the least. I was prepared for a rainy, less-than-ideal visit, but the experience turned out to be anything but disappointing. Despite the weather, Lama Monachile's beauty shone through. In fact, the rain worked in our favor, keeping the crowds away and letting us soak in the stunning views in peaceful solitude. It was a lovely and unexpectedly serene moment that made the trip all the more memorable. Saluti

Yelp
Awesome little cove especially at night where you can still see crowds until at least midnight. We saw a live concert the night we were there.

Yelp
Ciao! Two american girls here on vacation. This beach has pebbles so bring a blanket if you plan to tan and lay out. And water-shoes! Simply gorgeous though. We had a wonderful time and the water is super clear. We visited a few months ago in June 2018 and the weather was perfecto!
