My favorite place to buy prayer flags and similar items in Bhutan

If you're looking for any (non-touristy) Bhutanese Buddhist items, this is where you probably want to shop. The proprietor is very helpful and honest. The prices are very reasonable. If you want to bring home blessed prayer flags, you can get them here, and Lama Tshering Dorji will give you his contact information so you can reach him in order to determine an "auspicious" date to hang them. NOTE: You may arrive at the storefront to find that it's closed. Don't despair: Just call the phone number on the door and he will promptly appear to open the shop for you!

Wonderful place for prayer flags and other religious items. The owner was very patient with us as we explained our prayer flag needs & goals, even as we didn't know the birthdate of a friend we wanted to gift prayer flags to. He looked up the next auspicious days, and reminded us to get in touch if we are not able to hang the prayer flags on the designated day. Very thorough, helpful, and patient.

The best place to buy religious items in paro at a very reasonable price, and has very good customer service. Highly recommend this shop!
