We had a late lunch at Lamb Streetfood and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We ordered the “Lamb in the Paddock” (3290 ISK) and shared it between the two of us. The wrap was freshly made, with a perfectly crispy exterior while the inside remained incredibly soft and juicy. The flavor of the lamb was rich, tender, and well-seasoned, balancing beautifully with the spices and sauce. It exceeded our expectations and turned out to be far more delicious than we imagined.
The wrap itself was packed with flavor, and the freshness of the vegetables added a nice contrast, making it satisfying without feeling too heavy. Sharing one portion was just the right amount and made for a very fulfilling lunch.
Although the shop is located a bit away from downtown and may be slightly harder to find, it offers a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere compared to the busy tourist areas. Considering the quality of the food, it’s definitely worth the short trip.
Overall, it was a highly satisfying street-food experience. Whether you love lamb or don’t usually eat it, this place is absolutely worth trying.
