We had a late lunch at Lamb Streetfood and were pleasantly surprised by how good it was. We ordered the “Lamb in the Paddock” (3290 ISK) and shared it between the two of us. The wrap was freshly made, with a perfectly crispy exterior while the inside remained incredibly soft and juicy. The flavor of the lamb was rich, tender, and well-seasoned, balancing beautifully with the spices and sauce. It exceeded our expectations and turned out to be far more delicious than we imagined. The wrap itself was packed with flavor, and the freshness of the vegetables added a nice contrast, making it satisfying without feeling too heavy. Sharing one portion was just the right amount and made for a very fulfilling lunch. Although the shop is located a bit away from downtown and may be slightly harder to find, it offers a quieter and more relaxed atmosphere compared to the busy tourist areas. Considering the quality of the food, it’s definitely worth the short trip. Overall, it was a highly satisfying street-food experience. Whether you love lamb or don’t usually eat it, this place is absolutely worth trying.

Nice cute place, however the food I got was poor quality, especially for the price. Paid about $33 usd for meatballs that tasted like frozen meatballs you could get at a grocery store. The rolled grilled flatbread tasted like a cheese quesadilla with no flavor or substance. Dipping sauces were the best part. Would not recommend either of those dishes. (Pictured - Grilled Moroccan lamb meatballs or the delicious snack, rolled grilled flatbread).

Terrible food and service. By far the worst meal we had in Iceland. We got the Kofta, Svadi special, waffle fries, lamb meatballs, and falafel. Waffle fries were soggy like it was cooked in a microwave. Meatballs and falafel were cold (lukewarm at best). The Kofta sausages were also lukewarm and still raw inside, but the staff assured us that this was normal and fully cooked. We also found a hair in it. The Svadi special was the only thing that was ok. Some of the cutlery was dirty. When we asked for sharing plates, the staff rolled her eyes and audibly sighed. Avoid!

Lovely little street food place. Very laidback and casual. The food was really flavoursome, not too hot or over spiced, everything worked well together. Iceland has great lamb, and they do it justice.

Reasonably priced. Definitely a hidden gem. Food was delicious and very good portion size. Great value for money.

Food, service, and especially atmosphere is excellent. The music is great here too. The lamb and pepperoni is prominent in main entrees, and the waffle fries are very good. Great place to eat for a casual meal in Reykjavik!
