Lambhus Glacier View Cabins by Vatnajökull National Park

These cabins are a fantastic, the bunk beds are double which is so comfortable. The cooking facilities are excellent. The bathroom size is great. We stayed during a Yellow Weather warning and felt very safe. The view is BEAUTIFUL!

It’s our favorite place to have stayed in Iceland during our 11 day trip. The cabin is warm and cozy with plenty of space. There are cute horses around that you can pet if they walk over. Also it’s in kind of a secluded area so perfect for spotting northern lights at night! The sled check in process is easy and there is also a small kitchenette to cook breakfast. Wonderful place!

We got such a warm welcome at this family run location. The cabins are clean and cosy, carefully furnitured and with tastefull kitchen and bathroom utensils. We had the best sleep here during our weeks holiday..! The view is fantastic and the horses nearby were very friendly, even showing off with their foals. We'll be back..!

Beautiful spot in SE Iceland. I only stayed one night, but the cabins are clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, I stayed on a very windy night and didn’t get much sleep, but the cabin withstood the wind nicely. I would recommend staying here.

The overall stay was pleasant. The cabins are just off the route no 1 and very conveniently located. The communication by the host regarding the check in was very clear and had all the required information. The cabins have all the required amenities. We stayed for a night and it was good.

These were much nicer and larger than I was expecting. We were in cabin 3 that had great views oof two glaciers from two different windows. The cabins are new. The bed is comfortable. The lower bunk was double sized and roomy enough for both of us. There is a refrigerator, two burner stove, kettle, mugs, coffee, and tea. There was even a small sofa in the room. Amazing location and views. Quiet and peaceful with the sounds of sheep and birds

Amazing small cabins that have a superb view. The cabins are very well designed and furnished for 4 people with all essentials in place. Despite the fact that there is a warning that hot water only lasts for 30 mins we didn't face any challenges as we did keep showering to minimum time. We didn't meet the host but the information provided was adequate and all emails were responded to immediately.

This place is EPIC. Our absolute favorite place that we stayed in our 18 days of traveling Iceland. The views were insane. You could see the glacier in the mountains from your cabin. Icelandic horses ran in the field behind the cabins. The location was perfectly placed to visit the glacier and beaches. Self check in and out, so you could arrive at any time. We stayed 3 nights, and it was a highlight of our trip. I highly recommend!
