Food is excellent, we came twice during our trip. Local vibe, service is quick and good and price is cheap if you compare to other places. I would definitely recommend and come back a third time!

The food is delicious. The atmosphere fabulous. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The pricing is excellent. This was my first time in Madrid, and I ended up going both nights, as it was so good. Can't wait to go back next time I visit.

The place has a good vibe. The food is amazing I recommend the Burgo’s BLACK PUDDING, and the Cream cheese Flan.

We had the carrillera de ternera and the txangurro a la donostiarra. Both were tasty. Will go back to try out the other pintxos.

Two different experiences when I went with my Spanish friend VS going alone. The only thing that was constant was the food. Was happy with their service when i went with my Spanish friend (felt more welcoming and the staff being very attentive and offering to help us take a picture when we were trying to take wefies). And so I had the same expectations when I went alone 2 days later. However, was disappointed with the difference in treatment, especially the indifference from the lady manning the bar. Was at least thankful that a guy took over the ordering portion and made it less daunting ordering in English. Overall, I felt this distant atmosphere as a foreigner, from the moment I stepped in to get seated till payment. Was hoping I could rate a 5 based on my frist experience with my Spanish friend but I need to take everything into consideration.

Good place to eat Got the grilled squid and chicken tacos, also got the croquettes. Service was good and fairly quick. Good place to stop and eat, would go again

Certainly one of the most interesting menus you’ll find in Spain. Plates are somewhere between a tapa and a racion. But the creativity and flavor combinations are incredible. I’ve been going here since 2017 and have never been disappointed. This time I tried duck filled cannelloni in a wild mushroom sauce. Also had moussaka. Just incredible flavors. And the is fun, cozy and has jazz themed decor.

This probably will always be one of my favorite restaurants in the world. Food that melted in my mouth, flavor combinations that brought pleasant surprises. This was our favorite spot throughout the whole trip.

Yelp
Great recommendation from our host. Great wine, tasty tapas. At first I thought we were getting ignored, while at the bar, but to be honest this place was busy. As soon as they could the bartender introduced himself, took our drink orders, and let us know the kitchen would be open shortly. We were pretty hungry after a long day and an Atletico win. This place was within walking distance of the Puerta del Sol area, in the Cava Baja district. This place gives great evening hangout vibes. The folks around us were talking, sipping on their sangrias, and enjoying being there. They were their own entertainment. We enjoyed olives, steamed and sauced cheek chops, artichoke hearts, and sipped on some awesome vermouth and tinto de verano. It was a great start to our night of tapas hopping.

Yelp
A very busy place. No reservations. You just have to wait for an empty spot. O'Carallo Albariño. Quite good. Jamon Iberico ración - a large portion. Tapas (€4.10 each) * chicken wings - good, but the spice levels on the 3 wings were all different ranging from 0 to 7. Yet, they all looked alike. * Lomo de Bacalau - delicious fresh cod in a beautiful presentation * Oxtail - power flavor * Chicken taco * Guacamole - pretty good Dessert - Todo Chocolate. The darkest ice cream + well lit with 2700K lamps + service + lively atmosphere - a hopping place - cheap paper napkins - cheap flatware €unknown as our daughter paid

Yelp
Great tapas bar on Cava Baja, I can't believe I didn't know about it until this past trip, but my sister and I ended up going twice in 3 nights. The hot tapas were delicious, the wines were good and very well-priced. It was busy but we were able to find seats pretty quickly both nights. My favorite tapa was the carrillera (cheek), my sister liked the cod. The staff is super friendly too. I'll definitely be back on my next trip to Madrid.

Yelp
So happy to have dinner at this great tapas bar as my last meal in Madrid. There were so many good sounding things to order, the server had to stop us . But we preserved and ordered 2 more. And desert.... Some memorable items: Croquettes Arugula & melon salad with jamon Beef stew Octopus Brandada of cod Goat cheese with caramelized onion Prices are very reasonable. Service was excellent. Go!

Yelp
Very small space so get in to avoid the crowd. This venue is not a good spot for large groups. A group of four a hard to seat together. They gave a complimentary appetizer of hummus. We ordered tapas which included octopus, crunchy chicken taco, guacamole, and a duck pastry. They all were delicious. I asked for sangria but they offered 'something like' it, which was good.

Yelp
My bf and I loved this location. Great for tapas although if you go too late, they only have a small selection, but still amazing!! We kept ordering more and more while sitting there. Wine is pretty affordable too, and great service. All the tapas we tried were amazing, and the pintox were great, they're small snacks usually on a bread, and you pay per toothpick, but here you order it and pay. Loved the ambiance here. I would definitely recommend this location!! Lot's of locals that come here along with others that are visiting or studying abroad. Super fun!

Yelp
I was introduced to this place via a guy I met at the Hostel I was staying at who noted that there was a place in the La Latina district with 3EUR tapas. Well lo and behold I wound up at this place where the tapas started at 3EUR!!! I order two tapas given I knew that the size of these would be pretty large. Atmosphere: I would give this place 4-5 stars for the atmosphere alone. When I arrived for lunch, there were quite a few people and the place had a nice vibe to it. Food: The first one I ordered was the Pineapple chicken one. This tasted pretty good, but wasn't filled to the brim with chicken like I had expected. I also ordered a Chicken/Cheese tapa which was also tasted average to above average. Overall: If this was the only tapa place I tried in Spain I would have given them a 4 star stand alone rating, but honestly I ended up finding an EVEN BETTER PLACE WITH 3EUR TAPAS. To be fair, I am still on my quest to find the best tapas in the world.

Yelp
Another fantastic place for tapas, it was recommended by that someone we met in Madrid. Unfortunately, my friend did all the ordering so I don't know the name of the tapas. But they are all fantastic!

Yelp
Lamiak is a non-negotiable stop for all of my friends on a jaunt through La Latina. Friends who've visited me from home still ask me "which was that cool place with the art and the goat cheese bread thing?" Though at times it is unbelievably crowded, it's worth the wait to find a spot at the bar or, if you're lucky, a table to enjoy any of the many pintxos or drinks available. My personal favorite on the food side is the pintxo with goat cheese and caramelized onions-- a perfect size if you need just a little more than a bar tapa, but not a full meal. And at around 2,50€ (I think the price has gone up maybe 10-20 cents), the price is perfect, too. As a Txacolina wine lover, having that on the menu is even more of a draw. On occasion, service has been super slow and orders have gotten lost or forgotten in the kitchen, but the staff are always happy to check on it. It's a spot my friends and I will continue coming to as long as we live in Madrid!

Yelp
Lamiak had some of the best best food and tapas we had in madrid! We almost didnt stay long though due to what we thought was uncaring overall service, felt like we were being left hanging cause we were tourists. I think it was just one employee that didnt care much about anyone, because after we got a seat the gentleman that took care of, us we noticed was busting his ass all night to pick up the slack! Food was impeccable! Only got knocked a star for the one employee. Definelty gotta be aggressive to grab a table though, as they don't have a seating protocol, gotta be quick!

Yelp
Lamiak is pretty rad I must say. Even though it is in the heart of the touristie area, the prices are still great and it looks as though it's a local eatery as well. They're open for food at 8pm, like most establishments in Spain, and they offer pintxos which are small snacks.. small bites.. appetizers types of food- you get the idea.. and they're good! They're cheap and yummy! I like this place because the locals go here and it's a young crowd.. hip and all that jazz lol. I would have loved to give this establishment a perfect 5 stars BUT they were out of some of the ingredients that were on the menu which was disappointing. But overall if you're in Madrid and you're looking for a local cheap eatery- Lamiak is the place.

Yelp
We ordered food at the bar and they reserved food that had been sitting in for bar for at least 29 minutes. Service was poor and the gentleman working was unpleasant and surly.

Yelp
I wanted to enjoy pintxos at a reasonable price on the Cava Baja and Lamiak delivered. This cute little bar offered glasses of wine for under 3 euros as well as a dizzying selection of pintxos, which are little pieces of bread topped with different meats, cheeses, and condiments. I opted for the barbecue chicken and the brie and caramelized onion on the bartender's recommendation. Both were quite tasty. The brie pintxo would have been better with slightly less brie, actually, although cheese-lovers are welcome to disagree. All said, this was a wonderful way to spend under 10 euros and have a really interesting, filling snack and some wine.

Yelp
Lamiak is a great occasion to have a little snack while meeting up with some friends. Prices are ok and the Pintxos served fresh all day long. I choosed one Pintxo with tomato, goat cheese and caramelized onion and the other with mushrooms, iberian ham and bacon. Both were crispy, fresh and excellent in taste. The bar was well-stocked both times I was there, atmosphere is great and staff is busy but very friendly.

Yelp
One of the better meals we had on our trip! We happened to stumble in to Lamiak as we got to Cava Baja around the time when places were setting up for business but Lamiak had already been opened for a while. It was quite packed but we managed to squeeze our way in for some bar counter space. We had planned to just get a couple of drinks and then move on to dinner elsewhere but ended up hanging around once we saw some of the plates being served and so glad that we did! Unlike a few other places we've been to, the food was delightfully plated and looked delicious so we were sold on trying some out. We ordered the moussaka, smoked salmon, and a couple of variation of the bacalao. They were all wonderful. The drinks options were excellent as well and I loved how they were keeping tabs on all their patrons' orders on a huge sheet of paper behind the counter! Overall, prices were affordable and I would come back again if ever in Madrid.

Yelp
An excellent bar in the centre of Madrid I was fond of. I lived just up the street for about 1 year (ca. 2005). They served lunch during the day which was always quite good. For that area of Madrid, the prices were also okay. They also served Txacoli (which I adore) and pintxos at night. Of course they've got a full bar as well.

Yelp
popped in to Lamiak today for a swift beer and pintxos. we got a cosy table in the corner. the service was friendly and the pintxos are great value at €1.90 each. my GF and I both enjoyed the smoked cod and spicy tomato option the best. so tasty! will definitely return.
