Lamoille Valley Bike Tours

We had a great experience with Lamoille Valley Bike Tours. Rented performance e-bikes for visiting family members. The bikes were in excellent condition and handled beautifully. The owner was friendly, prompt, and very knowledgable about the trail and towns. I’d rent from them again without hesitation! I’ve rented bikes several times in different places and this was hands down my best experience for the condition of the bikes and the reliability of the outfitter.

Lamoille valley bike rental was great. The bikes were in terrific condition - rented an E- bike for that extra boost. The owners are great to talk to and helped with information about the area. We biked right after the recent flooding and the trail was a bit rough in some places but it’s beautiful to ride along the corn fields with the surrounding mountains in view. I highly recommend Lamoille Valley Bike Rentals in Johnson, Vermont.

We met one of the owners, Jim, when he shuttled us from Saint Johnsbury to Swanton to begin our three day gravel ride on the Lamoille Valley rail trail. It was just the two of us and Jim, and he pointed out all these interesting sites and places to visit along the way before dropping us in Swanton. He was very thorough in sharing all that he knew about the trail, it’s history, and important places to stop when we were riding. It was such a pleasurable shuttle ride, and then we met his wife Eva in Johnson, Vermont as we biked through that area on the second day. This is a wonderful business and truly makes riding the rail trail possible and pleasurable.

Wow, now this is how a business is suppose to be ran!! We decided to do some biking on a whim on our yearly trek back to Vermont. Online reservations were a breeze. Once we arrived, we were greeted by the owners, Eva and Jim, who were taking care of equipment and getting things ready. The rental shop is very clean, orderly, and parking was available. Eva couldn't have been more helpful and pleasant!! Same with her husband. The bikes were Cannondale electric bikes and Eva went over all the information we needed, first timers and all. Bikes worked perfectly on the beautiful trails and enjoyed a great lunch at a coffee shop in Morristown. I can't say enough good things about Eva and Jim's operation. If you are thinking about it, just go do it. They make it SO easy!! We'll be back next year and hopefully we'll have some family in tow so they can experience how beautiful VT can be from these trails!! Thanks Eva and Jim for a great day and experience!! Can't wait to do one of the "guided tours", they look like a blast.

SUCH FUN!! We booked a large group of 17 of us for a family reunion, with ages from 11 to 81 on a guided E-bike backroads tour. The owner Jim was our tour guide, and he curated an excellent day for us showing the beauty of rural Vermont. We all had a great time, and would highly recommend this experience!!

These are some pictures of our amazing bike trip. What a way to celebrate my 50th state! This could not have happened without Jim and his kindness, creative problem solving, and his really helpful shuttle service that allowed for us to go from one end of the trail to the other and go on our way into NH.

Stopped on our way back home to NH. Was a fantastic way to get out in nature and stretch our legs. Owners were very friendly and accommodating to make our adventure be most enjoyable by giving us great direction and insight of the area. Would highly recommend Lamoille Valley Bike Tours

Bike tour was great. We are very inexperienced bikers having never ridden more then 20 miles at once. We rented e bikes and used the shuttle service. Jim was great and helped us out every step of the way.
