This small business went above and beyond for our family to provide one our favorite memories to date. On a visit to Vermont with three adults, one child and two dogs, this team did everything possible to find solutions to accommodate us all during a very busy weekend. We cannot say enough good things about this experience. The trail is exceptionally well maintained, winds through beautiful vistas and leads to some pretty great local beer spots. We’ll be sending everyone we know here! Special thank you to Sterling and Jim for their positivity and dedication to providing the best experience!

Lamoille Valley Bike Tours owners were super friendly and knowledgeable! My husband and I rented a couple of performance e-bikes, (our first experience riding an e- bike) and we were shown how to use them. They are very good with customer service and keep their bikes tuned and well taken care of! The best part is you can park for free in their parking lot and pick up the trail right at the lot (mile #56). I would definitely recommend them for anyone visiting the area and wants to rent a bicycle!

Lamoille valley bike rental was great. The bikes were in terrific condition - rented an E- bike for that extra boost. The owners are great to talk to and helped with information about the area. We biked right after the recent flooding and the trail was a bit rough in some places but it’s beautiful to ride along the corn fields with the surrounding mountains in view. I highly recommend Lamoille Valley Bike Rentals in Johnson, Vermont.

These are some pictures of our amazing bike trip. What a way to celebrate my 50th state! This could not have happened without Jim and his kindness, creative problem solving, and his really helpful shuttle service that allowed for us to go from one end of the trail to the other and go on our way into NH.

Bikes are Electric assist , which is all you need with mainly flat areas. Great scenery . Great people who work there, very friendly

We had a great experience with Lamoille Valley Bike Tours. Rented performance e-bikes for visiting family members. The bikes were in excellent condition and handled beautifully. The owner was friendly, prompt, and very knowledgable about the trail and towns. I’d rent from them again without hesitation! I’ve rented bikes several times in different places and this was hands down my best experience for the condition of the bikes and the reliability of the outfitter.

Bike tour was great. We are very inexperienced bikers having never ridden more then 20 miles at once. We rented e bikes and used the shuttle service. Jim was great and helped us out every step of the way.

One word... SPECTACULAR! 02/22/2023. 6 of us. 2@68 years & 4 @ 40 years old. The owner took the time to explain everything about the bike the trail the sights and the places to eat and drink on the trail. We rented for 4 hours. 11:30am to 2:30 pm. Road east to Morrisville and the Lost Nation brewery. Drinks and lunch there, then back. Nice surprise when we returned. He came out with a round hot chocolate with cheese and crackers. Bikes were terrific. More power than we needed. This adventure far exceeded our expectations. We also had a beautiful day. Sunny 25 degrees.

Excellent service, both email and pre-ride suggestions. Highly recommended. Ideal, scenic trail right off the lot. Bikes are great- the basic e-bike has wider, cruiser style seats but apparently a little less range than the performance bike. We did a full day ride on the basic e-bikes, over 20 miles each way to Hardwick and back, with a stop at 10 Railroad St on the way back. The next day, we took a half day ride to Jeffersonville and back. Recommend the Burger Barn and Smuggler's Notch Distillery there. Cabot Creamery was mid. It's just a store in a barn shaped building with no facilities. There is no dairy or cheese making, like Shelburne Farms. Good cheese, but hard to pack on a warm day. We went the extra mile to the Village Restaurant in downtown Hardwick for a very good brunch at a reasonable price.

These guys run such a great small business! It was my first experience biking on the LVRT and the first time using an ebike. They were able to walk me through the terrain, must hit places and provide a tutorial on how to use the bike. I found it to be very affordable in comparison to other places. They also were centrally located right on the trail and provided parking while I was out. This really made my trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Vermont.

We had an awesome ride on the Vermont rail trail with LVBT! Jim was flexible and knowledgeable! He runs an organized business with beautiful bike rentals! The trail was beautiful, even in the rain! We will definitely return for more adventures!

Conveniently located right next to the bike trail. Nice selection of gravel bikes and e-bikes.

What a fun way to spend a day in the Stowe area. We did the four hour rental. This enabled us to ride the entire length of the trail, have time to stop for lots of photos, antiquing, and lunch. E bikes are really cool, I really appreciated it towards the end of the ride when my legs were beginning to get tired! Jim was such a great help giving us tips on the area and on the bikes. You ride along the Rail to Trail, which mostly follows a local river, and winds you through local fields with beautiful rolling hills and small mountains in the background. We aren't beer drinkers, but there are a lot of local breweries along the way as well. You can also do a combo ride and raft. Jim can help you get it all set up! If you are in the area, I'd highly recommend riding the rail to trail with Jim!

Fantastic Ebikes, beautiful riding trail, and excellent service by Jim. Highly recommend this adventure. A wonderful four hours of fun!

Thanks, Jim, for a great autumn Saturday. Loved the e-bikes! Hadn't ridden a bike in many years and it was easy and so fun! The views out to Cambridge Junction were gorgeous and lunch at Lost Nation in Morrisville was great. We will be back!

WHAT A WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE! My wife and I came up for my birthday weekend to relax, hike with our pups, and explore Vermont. We are so thrilled that we found this place and their Bike & Brew tour for our Saturday excursion. Jim and Eva are such friendly and warm people that genuinely love what they do and work hard to make sure their customers have a great experience. The bikes are really cool, we'd never ridden an electric bike before, so it was neat to try it out and they provided us with such a smooth and enjoyable ride. We went to three breweries on the tour too and they all had delicious wide varieties of beer and the folks that worked there were super welcoming. I really can't say enough great things about this company, so all I'll say is that you need to just come up to VT and try them out for yourself!!

Did the the Bike and Brewery tour - Jim was our guide and we had an awesome time! Great bikes, great weather - simple and relaxing ride. Highly recommend if you are coming to Vermont to see beautiful colors. We had a group of four and were lucky enough to have our guide all to ourselves. Eva took our reservations and just talking to her on the phone got us excited about the tour.

This was our first experience using e-bikes, and the owners took time to explain how they worked and helped us get use to the bikes. They also had great suggestions for our ride down the Lamoille River Trail- places to eat, drink, shop and sights to see- complete with detailed maps! We had a wonderful time- thanks, guys!
