Our original plan was to stop off on Rødberg but the accommodation informed us that they had a large private function and that it may be a bit noisy. We therefore decided to change and book the Lampeland hotel instead.||We did not know that there was a village festival on until we arrived. The festival was nice and had local produce and makers. On check in we were told that it may go on until the early hours and that, whilst we have a room to the front, where the action was, if needed we could be moved. We were ok with the noise level until 10pm but we’re not made aware that there would be (loud) live music until past 1.30am. At this point we felt it was too late to move. We had the added dilemma of whether to open the window, as the temperature control in the room did not work and the room was very hot, and have the music at full blast or be enormously hot.||Apart from the noise, and the thought at 10pm that we should have moved earlier, the hotel is very nicely decorated. Rooms are a good size and staff are very friendly. ||Breakfast was nice just possibly lacking some warm option. The scrambled egg was fridge cold. But that’s just an aside and good choice and even option for a take away lunch package, at a reasonable extra cost.||Dogs allowed in the bedroom. We were given a room near the side exit as an easy convenience. Unfortunately our dog doesn’t like stepping on the metal grids. For others it may be perfect.||Good location for stop off along the way from A to B.
