AVOID! AVOID! AVOID! One if not the worst experience in my life.The service is horrible the person /chubby woman/ behind the register was terribly rude.She start calling me b..ch because I realized she want me charge more for lipstick.I am still in shock.This place should be avoided while the ignorant disgusting “person” is working there.

Great store with a huge selection of merchandise. Staff are helpful, knowledgeable and nice, unlike many other beauty supply stores! I was even given a sample. And they offer a discount to (licensed) professionals.

They have a large selection of sprays and conditioning products. Nice selection for the kids as well!

My fave for the area. I’m still not sure how they get such a great variety of hair in such a cost space. Cool staff , knowledgeable , non stressful (aka they let you decide without staring you down) I like em.

I called to see if they have a specific gel product. The person who picked up said they carried it but couldn’t share the pricing over the phone. What kinda madness is that? They try to bait you to come into the store to see the price in hopes that even if you chose not to buy that particular item, you’ll resolve to buy something! Ridiculous. I just called the place across the street and went to them

I come here to buy hair for my protective styles, they're pretty big with a large supply of domestics, hair, hair products, etc. I also appreciate that they are reasonable in terms of price point. I would definitely recommend checking out Lana's, it's a neighborhood store and the staff is friendly,

They are decent. They have alot of beauty items on their premise (different kind of oils, etc) and I also find the prices to be reasonable. If I can't find a particular item elsewhere, I usually come here and always leave as a happy customer but also with a big bag of other random hair products. The staff is very nice and helpful. The only con is that the line gets really long in there during later hours. The hair/wig section needs a bit of an upgrade but overall, they usually have the stuff that I'm looking for.

Lady at the front was very helpful and we had a nice conversation. The prices are great. I'm happy that I spent my money there. Definitely going back

THANK YOU other reviewer who pointed out this place sells NYX Cosmetics. I've lived in the neighborhood for years without ever going in here. I went in specifically for NYX (and they have a really big selection of it, possibly even more than Target) but the place is pretty huge. I'll def. be back again.

I like this beauty supply store. There are a few others on the same block but this one always draws me in. They have a large supply of the less expensive makeup & nail polish brands (NYX, Laugh out Loud, Brucci) as well as the more well known brands and ethnic favorites like Shea Moisture and Nubian Heritage soaps and lotions. Their prices are decent (less than Manhattan and Downtown Brooklyn) and the store isn't tiny. They also have a good selection of hair pieces in the back if that's your thing. Close to the A train Nostrand Avenue station and in an area where there are lots of shopping choices. Not designer shopping, but shopping nonetheless.

This store is packed to the gills with wigs. While there are several good stores on the block selling wigs Neo 6 has the most by far. I was able to find a unique wig that I was having trouble locating online. I was glad when I was able to purchase it in a neighborhood store. The staff were friendly and helpful. They sell other general beauty supply items as well.
