Everything was good but something felt off. Being from Oahu, I expected a better custom service experience. The best I can describe it, It felt a bit cold. On the positive side, the food both for dinner and breakfast was great and the pricing is reasonable. And there's live music on most evenings.

Came in on the 6:30am Ferry from Maui and this was our first stop for breakfast. It was sooo flipping good and filling. Great staff and great food! I got the Classic Breafast with the deer sausage which was amazing and the Guava jam was good as well. Our table split the ube pancakes and OMG I recommend to order those for any pancake lover!!! Please come here and try their food!!! I wish I could give them 10 stars.

Google
The *BEST* Breakfast on Lāna'i! The Pig Candy is best eaten with your fingers. Mochi Pancake is so delicious, no coconut syrup needed! French Toast is perfect. Loco Moco was decadent. Breakfast Burrito and array of salsas/sauces is very satisfying. Not pictured is the Breakfast Sandwich with venison sausage patty, which was inhaled before I could snap a pic! Don't skip out on the fresh juice blends -- the orange is bliss. Mahalo to Christian and the crew at LCBG for bringing bomb breakfast to the island! (Served Tuesday - Saturday @ 7-11am)

Wow, great food, atmosphere, and service. All our dishes were cooked and presented perfectly. Awesome happy hour specials also from 4-530pm. Even if you're not staying at the hotel, this has to be the #1 dinner spot in the city.

Dustin C.

Google
We went to "Taco Tuesday" and it was amazing! The happy hour drinks specials were great and the pupus menu was amazing! They also had live music that was perfect. When we go back to Lana'i we will definitely go here for dinner again!

Google
I had the fish sando with a side of potato spuds. The fish of the day was ahi, which was very delicious. The potato spuds were great but there were lots of small potato skin that were too crisp to eat. We then topped off the meal with pineapple upside down cake. It was so yummy. I really enjoyed the crème brûlée-like caramel on the top of the cake. I would come back again and would recommend for anyone who visits lanai.

I was there for dinner with my son on Wednesday. The quality of food positively surprised me. It is top notch, on par with Four Seasons restaurants. The menu is pretty extensive and the wine list have some amazing and rare choices. I got a Brut Zero Champagne for dinner. Also Hearts of Palms - is a must! Absolutely amazing (we ordered a 2nd portion). And be careful with desserts - the portions are pretty big. At 6-00pm they started live music outside. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays, and they have Taco Tuesdays- with Taco menu. The service is great - very friendly and welcoming. We definitely will be back! So if you are on Lanai, do not overthink it - just go there, and you won't be sorry.

We arrived after-hours to Hotel Lana'i on Christmas Day and had to self check-in as the front desk was already closed. Christian and team, who operate the onsite restaurant which was already closed for the day, noticed and kindly came out to check if we needed any help. When we sheepishly asked if the kitchen was still open (despite it being evidently closed), Christian offered to fire up some burgers upon thoughtfully noticing that my wife was pregnant - which just so coincidentally was what she had been craving all day. .. And what a meal it was! The thoughtfulness of Christian and team was expressed throughout the meal, in the homemade toasted bun and smashed ground beef patties. The thick patties were flavorful and had a satisfying chew in every bite. The salad was crisp, fresh and served with a heap of croutons. The shoestring fries were generously portioned and well-prepped, such that they were not too greasy or salted. We cannot thank Chef Christian and team enough for comforting two hungry travelers upon our arrival in Lana'i, even though they were well within reason to turn us away. What made everything even better is that they served up, on especially short notice, one of the best meals we have had on our trip in Hawai'i so far. Christmas truly came alive at Lanai City Bar & Grill tonight, as we turn in with our hearts and stomachs full.

Yelp
This place is my goto. I hang out with my friend here at Happy Hour or Taco Tuesday. Shirley Temples and Smash Burgers to end off a long work day is our go to but my favorite snack ons are the calamari, potato spuds, Parker Rolls, and my new top favorite Roasted beets!!! During these busy times it does get loud but it's such a friendly atmosphere! I have also come for brunch and gosh is the Avocado toast to die for. The staff is friendly and connective it's easy to get attached to this place!!

Yelp
I ordered the catch of the day (mahi mahi) meunière and the banana lumpia as a dessert, it was so delicious, the service was great too. There was live music during Saturday nights, which adds to the ambiance of the Lanai City Bar & Grill.

Yelp
We came here at least 3 times during our stay at Hotel Lanai and we were very impressed with basically everything that we ordered here. The food is made with much care, plus there is live music here every night (so long as the musician doesn't cancel). The first night we ordered the tofu, green beans and eggplant dish to start. We asked for it to come together with our other dishes but it still came out first and very quickly. We then also ordered the Rustichella pasta, the prawns special and two drinks. The star of the show was the tofu dish and my partner liked the prawns. However the pasta dish could have used a bit more varied flavors, even if it was still pretty good. We came again for dinner on taco Tuesday. There was a live band playing jazz and it was so nice to listen to music with dinner out in the patio. What a treat that they do it every night. The Taco Tuesday menu has some of the similar items to the normal menu but with the addition of tacos. My partner ordered the catch of the day and I ordered the potato taquitos (it was under tacos but it was fried). We also got a side of tortilla chips and guacamole. The fish was so fresh as were the taquitos and guac. We had breakfast from the hotel when the restaurant was closed on Sunday and Monday but the yogurt bowl and the açaí bowls were from the restaurant. Again, the fresh fruit was amazing. We then came for breakfast and got an oat milk latte, breakfast burrito with avocado and Ube mochi pancakes. I think the last breakfast was one of our favorite meals. We found out they just started opening for breakfast and lunch last December of 2024. Yet the food is off the charts. Everything here is so fresh and great, so I definitely recommend it for those visiting Lanai. They put a lot of thought and care into their dishes and know what they are doing. Would definitely come back the next time we visit Lana'i. Would be advisable to make a reservation especially for dinner when the restaurant gets super busy.

Yelp
By FARRRR the best meal on Lanaii, better than either of the two Nobus. A spot where there is live music, where all the locals go, and just a super positive atmosphere! We were lucky to be here on a Tuesday night for taco tuesday, and oh man it did not disappoint. The fish tacos were excellent, but the main attraction was definitely the parker rolls! You have to get there early to get in on those rolls. We got there at 530pm and they had almost sold out. Definitely worth the hype. Overall, the food was delicious. Everything was super delicious. You will not regret going there! Advice, make a reservation in advance!

Yelp
The food is great, especially considering the difficulty of sourcing food on the island. The wine was also something special. In addition, the service was over the top incredible. Seriously, I was full but kept eating because the staff was so nice!! On an island full of delicious menus, this is a must-go.
google avatar

Jason S.

Yelp
Ate here several times during our recent stay and it never disappointed. Great staff and a large and incredible mene- make this a must visit! Some other reasons to visit are that they have entertainment often and happy hour daily.

Yelp
Food is great and outdoor sea with live music under the Cook Pines is epic. Thank you Diamond for the great service!

Yelp
We ended up eating here three nights in a row because we thought we couldn't eat at the Four Seasons restaurants (except for Views at the golf course) without staying at the resort, based on what its website states. The shuttle driver who took us to the ferry at the end of our trip said that wasn't the case. Oh well. Our first night, we had the misfortune of a not very good musician playing inside. It was SO incredibly loud. Uncomfortably loud. Because of the music, everyone was shouting. It was difficult to hear the server. There wasn't even a PA, just a monitor. The decor is charming. Mixed wallpaper, mixed lighting features, mixed seating. There is an outdoor seating option, and typically the music is outside. But when it threatens rain, they move the music inside. We had lovely service from Maryann the first night and Eddie the two successive nights. Fortunately outdoor music on night two and no musician at all on night three. Made for a much more enjoyable experience. The only dish we didn't love was the ahi fish sando. Ahi was way overcooked (they had said medium) and the sandwich lacked flavor. Our favorite dishes were the pineapple Parker rolls with miso butter (great warmed up for breakfast); the venison sausage appetizer, the mushroom bucatini and the fried chicken sandwich. The pineapple upside down cake is phenomenal. Caramelized top makes it really special.

Yelp
LCBG is the bomb. Owner Christian is a food genius and our server Diamond is a Jewel!

Jill B.

Yelp
We love Lanai City Bar and Grill. Today all 9 of us were there for their New Year's Brunch, and Christian went above and beyond!! Our granddaughter has Celiac disease. Although there were several gluten free options on the buffet, she didn't find any that she liked or would try. Christian, in the middle of an overworked kitchen, created a cheeseburger on a hash brown potato bun...all from scratch!! Lana'i is a special place, made so much more exceptional by Christian and his Spirit of Aloha!
google avatar

Della Lee G.

Yelp
Spot on Service! Friendly Joyful hostess Server Eddie also Friendly Joyful and super helpful Ambiance of LCBG restaurant : soft lighting and local style soft LIVE dinner music Options to dine Inside or Outside Food tasty Presentation Great Drinks Awesome Dessert winner

Yelp
My husband and I went here and were very happy we did! We wanted a break from the resort food and were not disappointed. We sat outside and they had live music from a local artist which made the experience even more enjoyable. The service was excellent; very attentive. The cocktails were well made. The food was the true highlight of the evening. The beet salad was made with the freshest beets I've ever eaten. My husband's smashburger was delicious. I had the shrimp scampi and it had 7 good sized shrimp that were some of the tastiest shrimp I've had. Highly recommend you try this place when visiting Lanai.

Yelp
This place has such good reviews and I wish I had the same experience as all the others, but unfortunately I must have come on a rough night. The place was busy, loud and boisterous. I was told there is usually live music, but not on the night we visited. Our waitress was super nice and was the best part of our visit. I ordered the Big Kahuna burger with salad and a side of fries. I requested a medium well patty, but I was served a very rare burger, basically a fast sear on the outside and everything else was red. The grilled pineapple were the smallest slices, grilled to the point of dryness. The salad was lettuce leaves with a bit of oil, salt and vinegar. The fries were overdone and dry. And their recommended red wine had no flavor. Maybe they do a better job on the rest of their menu?
google avatar

Eiko T.

Yelp
Amazing!!! Great menus, friendly server Eddie and amazing live music!! I was lucky enough to be here when IDrive was playing. You must check this place out while you are on Lanai!!

Allison P.

Yelp
Happy hour menu is so fun. A nice reprieve from our hotel, we were told by every local that we must visit the bar and grill. The smash burger went down fast - and the cocktails were so tasty too (marg was fresh and the mai tai was giving). Ask for Justin - he's an expert on the menu and he's here to make sure you have a fabulous time. Do this - walk around town to make sure you are extra hungry - get the rolls, catch of the day and a burger for the table for everyone to try. Oh, come on Weekends for the live music. Starts at 6pm. Mahalo.

Jane D.

Yelp
Amazing food as always, and service from Justin! We frequent this place several times a week and it never disappoints. They also have live music and a wonderful patio.
google avatar

Andy D.

Yelp
What an amazing experience. The food & beverage is absolutely top notch. They have so many wonderfully creative curated themed meals that are a must try. Anything Chef Christian comes up with is a 11/10. The servers and kind, hard working, & personable. Highly recommend the new Rustichella Rigatoncini Pasta with the crispy chicken on top. WOW! Nothing beats a Friday or Saturday night out on the patio with live Hawaiian music playing. Couldn't recommend enough!
google avatar

Stephanie S.

Yelp
If you come to Lana'i and do not come here - you've made a huge mistake. Leave the Four Seasons :) the food and staff are AMAZING. The fresh pineapple Parker rolls with rock salt were actual heaven. We came on a Friday and there was live music from Kapua Entertainment... they were fantastic. Best night we spent on the island in multiple visits. We'll be back!

Yelp
Went to dinner here last Wednesday. We had a party of 5 adults and one toddler so we made reservations. I shared the Sensei Farms salad with macadamia nuts and the roasted beets with whipped feta and Italian salsa verde. Both were 'ono. I'm so glad I ordered the half portion grass fed lamb ribs because it was delicious! Dessert was the Kilauea cake which was a flourless chocolate cake, guava lava with basil oil. Our server cautioned us to try a little of the guava lava with basil oil in case we don't like the basil oil so we did that. The basil oil definitely has a strong flavor but if you mix it well with the guava lava, and poured it over the cake, it was unusual but good. Our server was attentive and friendly. Service was pretty quick. Prices were very reasonable and the restaurant and hotel surroundings were beautiful! I would dine here again!

Yelp
Happy Hour menu is worth the visit. Sit at the bar w bartender Jacob, he's a neighborhood gem. Get one of each food item, all are amazing. Also the hearts of palm salad on the dinner menu is NOT TO BE MISSED. Fresh hearts of palm w locally made Hawaiian Lilikoi (passionfruit) dressing. Pineapple upside down cake for dessert to seal the meal. Wine list by Chuck Furuya is also worth going in for. Best food, wine and cocktails in the city. Hands down! Go there on your first night! You'll be back, I'll guarantee it !

Kelly H.

Yelp
This place is so cool..great atmosphere, service and delicious local food! You have to come for happy hour and enjoy live local music
google avatar

Krissy B.

Yelp
Go for happy hour! Everything was amazing & the Potato Spuds are the best deal on the island!
google avatar

Michael I.

Yelp
Fabulous food, great ambiance definitely the place to be on Saturday date night!! Be sure to call ahead and make reservations.

Frances J.

Yelp
Last night I took three guests with me to this restaurant. The service was substandard. Three of our entrées were served the fourth was not. The Cook came out and said he didn't like the look of the sandwich and so was redoing it. Im sure that order was just forgotten... we three sat there... with our entrées, going cold in front of us... Waiting for the fourth person's food to arrive. When it did the cook said sorry about the wait. it was not a very sincere apology at all! We were not comped his entrée... Nothing! They acted as if the couldn't care less!Only one person at that table had a hot meal. And one of the waiters looks like he was just taken off the street! His hair looked dirty and oily, and all in his face. His pants were hanging down below his butt. I thought this was supposed to be a nice restaurant? I do not recommend this restaurant at all.

Robbie D.

Yelp
The smash burger and pineapple upside cake are both off the charts! Give yourself a break from the resorts and check this place out
google avatar

Christina M.

Yelp
Great service! Cute restaurant in an even cuter hotel on Lanai. We were celebrating our anniversary and we're given complimentary champagne, so sweet. The food was amazing! We ordered the hearts of palm salad - the lilikoi dressing is so tasty! We also got the lobster pasta, which was a special and not on the menu. For dessert, the Kilauea with guava lava. Highly recommend you visit especially if you're on lanai, or if you can come by ferry for dinner.
google avatar

Dan S.

Yelp
Great Mahi - Meunière style. Good friendly service. Ahi belly skewers was our friends's favorite. Nice wine list at reasonable prices. We don't usually order pork shank though on a prior visit theirs was great, a generous portion and tender throughout. We like their fries though appreciate being able to sub out to a side salad when we like.
google avatar

April L.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant! Great service and delicious food. We were twice asked if we had reservations, but getting a table was no issue. The band playing was great too! Definitely a must visit!
google avatar

Kevin M.

Yelp
Amazing service and food! Everything was delicious! We had the venison ragu, smash burgers, chicken sandwich, lamb ribs, and ahi steak! Was not disappointed in the least! They accommodated our situation and went above and beyond! If you are ever in Lanai City, you must eat here! Great atmosphere and ambiance!
google avatar

Dalia K.

Yelp
Food was phenomenal- the waiting staff is very kind and (I think) the singer that night was enjoying a meal with his family prior to the show. If so, that shows me this restaurant has a kind culture towards its employees and I love to see that energy when I go places.
google avatar

Ilana W.

Yelp
Overall good experience, however definitely depends on what you order. The burgers are amazing!! One night we did burgers and drinks and it was an awesome experience. The other night we ordered the fresh fish option, it was not good, very oily and not worth the price. Definitely recommend going for the burgers, cocktails and ambiance! Great live music on the patio and a beautiful dining room.
google avatar

Angela A.

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem in the city!!! It is definitely a MUST try when you visit Lāna'i! We had the homemade Parker rolls with miso sesame honey butter (WOW), the Sensei garden salad was so fresh and light. We both ordered the catch of the day and the fish is line caught locally. To top tit off we ended with a cup of coffee and pineapple upside down cake. Save room for dessert! We were also very fortunate to come on a night with live music and sat outside. The service was exceptional and we would recommend this place to all!
google avatar

Brett B.

Yelp
Great staff and service, really made us feel at home and had great live music I love this place !

Sam S.

Yelp
Great energy, relaxed restaurant. We came on a busy night, so service was a little slow and they were out of menu items, but we didn't mind because everything was delicious and we were enjoying the weather and live music. It was a happy place where locals gather to enjoy drinks and music. The host who escorted us in wound up playing the guitar and singing - he rocked! The fish sandwich was good, but the highlight were the Parker rolls. So simple yet delicious!

SasquatchJerky _.

Yelp
We stayed at the hotel and really enjoyed our meal but the beans in our cassoulet were barely cooked. The overall taste was spot on though. The deer sausage they use/make is beyond delicious I would've taken it home if I could have
google avatar

Katherine R.

Yelp
The people were outrageously friendly and we enjoyed the back patio with the gentleman playing guitar. The food selection was a bit limited but I think you go there for the experience and friendly service. I'd recommend as a break from the more formal Four Seasons Hotel restaurants.

Genie M.

Yelp
We have been coming to this restaurant under its previous iterations for years now, and were hesitant to try it after its Szechuan style restaurant closed (not a good fit for the area). We asked our local friends about the new Bar & Grill and heard mixed reviews, mostly critical of the service, i.e., the lack of it. We had a 5:45 reservation in the bar area because the patio and dining areas were all booked. (Reservations are currently through Open Table) The dining areas are spacious and comfortable. Did I see dining chairs with carved pineapplyemotif that once furnished the informal dining space at the Lodge at Koele? We found service to be quite attentive and friendly, and our dinner was tasty - we got Caesar salads (locally grown romaine from Sensei's hydroponic operation), and split a classic burger with fries. The burger was a bit salty but cooked as requested and plenty for the 2 of us after entree sized Caesar salads. By 6:00 pm this place was very busy, and the staff handled guests and some snafus very well. Mahalo to our server Cherokee for looking after us. We will be back soon! (Sorry, no photos, the food looked so good, we dove in and didn't bother).
google avatar

Elana R.

Yelp
Delicious - lots more options for vegetarians / vegans - Great live music on the patio - loved the cocktails, broccoli, beets and great service!!!!

Diane I.

Yelp
On line reservation convenient and simple. Modifications to existing reservations also easy to change. Their Caesar salad is one of the best I've ever had. The bread with miso honey butter is delish! Staff (Theresa) very efficient and personable. They have live entertainment. Parking is available and overflow parking is available.
google avatar

Brick S.

Yelp
Ok this place is FIRE. Everything we ordered exceeded expectations. Corn dogs went crazy. Burger was on point. Fried chicken sandwich had me on another planet. This is the spot. Word to my dudes shredding the ukuleles as well, I see y'all.
google avatar

Rahnia B.

Yelp
Good and atmosphere are great! Was able to get a reservation easily and listened to a fun, local band!
google avatar

Sylvana V.

Yelp
Yummy!!! so tasty love the Duck Confit and Paloma was amazing can't wait to come back.

Dave E.

Yelp
We were staying at the four seasons Lanai and wanted to try something different than the few restaurants in the resort. We had a great evening. Shuttle service was easy to set up and so were the reservations. Dinner was fun as we sat outside and listened to live music. Food was great - we shared the corn dogs, hearts of palm appetizer and the lamb bites. Also had the fish special and it was great. We will visit again the next time we are on Lania

c c.

Yelp
Had a wonderful time. The entire staff was accommodating and friendly. Food was very good and not outrageously priced like the resorts. One of the few places with live music!!!! Really liked the music! Mahalo!

L M.

Yelp
Totally awesome!! Everything was ono!! Comfortable and fun atmosphere. Can't wait to go again

Nicole S.

Yelp
We have been coming for years and this place is always amazing! They closed for a bit but we were SO happy to see them back open. Live music on the patio and the food is always great. This place is one of our favorites in Lanai'i!

Clyde A.

Yelp
we had a wonderful dinner here. excellent cocktails (the oaxacan was my favorite), burgers, and salads. the people are great and you'll feel the island hospitality
