I was lucky enough to stumble on this property as I was making last minute plans. I stayed in the Wieland suite (1 bedroom) last week. I wanted to give you a big THANK YOU! The suite is just lovely, the decor was fitting and it was the perfect getaway for me. The location cannot be beat - on the edge of the Quarter and a block from Frenchman Street! At first, I thought the noise would be an issue on the Chartres side but I barely heard anything. It was a super relaxing space and great to work in as well. I was pleasantly surprised to find breakfast items such as yogurts, breakfast bars, juices, etc. waiting for me. I'm not sure if you usually meet your guests, but I will definitely try to book with you again on my next trip home to New Orleans. Again, thank you so much!

Easily my favorite location in all of New Orleans. Walking distance to so many bars, restaurants, and convenient stores. I've been there several times and stayed in several rooms and loved all of them. Free fast Wi-Fi (streaming works great), kitchenettes, comfy beds, and I never heard a peep from anyone else in the other rooms, so the peace and quiet was nice too. Andrea helped me booked my rooms and was absolutely a delight. There's a level of service you get from family owned places like this one that you don't get from large chains. On one occasion I left and item and she worked with housekeeping to help me get it back, which was super nice. They held onto my item for me for over a week. Whenever I head back to New Orleans this is easily going to be my first choice.

We had reservations since June for a wedding in late December of 2021. Unfortunately due to increase in Covid variants and the wedding we were attending changed criteria for entry we were forced to cancel along with other wedding guests. The wedding party gave us two weeks notice to cancel. We were driving from Texas and missed the cancellation requirement of two weeks for this Airbnb. The host did not grant us full refund and stated they would have a hard time filling our cancellation. Which they filled immediately after we canceled. We were the only couple staying at this Bed and Breakfast who did not receive a full refund due to the Virus out of five other reservations in New Orleans area who had to cancel. You would thing they would be considerate, kind and understanding but they weren't. We will not make any reservations here in the future.

We booked the entire mansion and parlor rooms for our wedding weekend. We could not have picked a better place to spend the weekend with our loved ones!! The mansion is gorgeous and had plenty of room for our bridal party and guests. Beth was incredibly helpful and ensured that our day was perfect. I highly recommend!!!

I was incredibly fortunate to have discovered Lanaux a few months ago. I managed to stay in each room over the course of several trips and my heart is bewildered by how gorgeous and accessible it is. The neighborhood is a thousand percent where you want to be if you're visiting NOLA. The owner and caretakers (shout out to my Lady A and B!) are marvelous and communication is beyond phenomenal. It's a safe neighborhood where locals are happy to let you pet their pups, join you for a cup of coffee on the stoop, or guide your trip and direct you to the best local spots. Do You! and see Bourbon Street and the rest of lovely New Orleans as you like, but rest here away from most of the tourist noise next to some of the best Thai and Sushi I've enjoyed internationally. I'm sure other spots are great, but I had to sample everything on the menu at Royal Sushi and Zhang Bistro. Excellent cheap Banh mi at the corner store less than a minutes walk. Numerous music venues are minutes walking to meander by any day of the week without disappointment. I came here for work and have previously visited NOLA a number of times. After my experience at Lanaux, I want to live here in this very neighborhood and if it were possible, this very home. The neighborhood is incredible and walkable and the phenomenal excellence of the preservation and modernality of Lanaux is supreme. Holla at a salt soak in the elegant bathtubs and Alice in Wonderland entrance balcony experience in Ruthies and Lanaux balcony rooms. What I have said does not begin to present how elegant, cozy, and accommodating this location is. Dig it.

We travel to New Orleans quite often. This has been our most enjoyable stay yet! The Weiland Suite in The Lanaux Mansion was perfect for our romantic getaway! Beth was an attentive, courteous and gracious host. The location of the home is perfect, situated at the end of the French Quarter near the French Market and near Frenchmen Street, too (which during non Covid is a much better cultural music experience than Bourbon St!) we cannot wait for the renovation of rest of the mansion to be completed so that we will be able to stay in one of the balcony suites. I highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for an authentic visit to this historic city!!

Really nice location! Rooms are very nice. It's an Airbnb, so not sure how to rate service, but its very clean and well maintained!
