Lance Aux Epines Cottages

We had a very comfortable cottage in a superb location, a few steps from the beach; And a few steps, too, from the Sandbar restaurant and its fantastic lunch and evening menu. The staff were charming as were the people looking after the cottage and the grounds. Nothing was too much trouble. .

Sorry for late review. This is our third time here, it’s just what we look for in a relaxing holiday . No frills, but clean, comfortable cottages virtually on the beach . We have two for our group of 6 . Location is awesome, there’s a wonderful small bar/ restaurant on the beach , the grounds are lush and all the staff are charming . No pool , but who needs one when the ocean is steps away . The beach is beautiful, and unspoiled. There are a few more restaurants and a new small supermarket a few minutes walk away . We will be back !

Stayed here with 5 friends for Spice Mas in Aug 2024 and the stay was wonderful! We had the 2 bd/2 bath cottage. It was well maintained and very clean. The manager (can't remember her name) was so accommodating! Our flight landed at 5am and we got there around 6am and she was kind enough to let us check in early. She brought us mangos from the trees on the property a few times when she stopped in to check on us - she was so lovely. We ate at the restaurant a few times and the food was good. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a one bedroom cottage that was 15 metres from the sea. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean. A ceiling fan and stand up fan were provided in the living/kitchen area while the huge king size bedroom had wonderfully quiet air conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including kettle, toaster, coffee machine and blender. I appreciated the proper knives/chopping board as well as decent pans. Again everything spotless.||The bedroom had a new flat screen television (we weren’t expecting) and the en-suite shower room had a hairdryer, and high end shower gel/shampoo/conditioner (that we also weren’t expecting)! A 5 minute walk down the road takes you to Cauls supermarket where we found basic provisions - bread, butter, cheese, vegetables etc and beer/wine priced very reasonably. ||We ate most of our meals at the Sand Bar restaurant on site - the food was amazing especially the Rasta pasta. It’s a lovely laid back but busy place to be and the staff are wonderful. We’ve already booked to return next year.

Highly recommend staying here if you're thinking of visiting Grenada. Comfy self catering cottage with everything you need right by the water. Sand Bar restaurant on site serving delicious food. Husband took advantage of using the Hobie Cat a few times (available to guests free of charge). Tim and his staff friendly and helpful. Hope to visit them again.

We spent a very relaxing week in a delightful, spacious and well equipped apartment at the Lance aux Epines Cottages, which are situated by a small quiet beach on Prickly Bay with beautifully kept grounds.|There are a variety of shops and restaurants nearby. However, we ate most evenings at the onsite Sandbar, where the food was excellent.|Would definitely like to return!|Thanks to Tim and all the staff, who were extremly friendly and helpful and made out stay so comfortable.

Overall, we had an excellent stay here. The beds were a bit hard for my liking, but the cottage everything we needed for our stay. The layout worked well for our group of 4, which was 2 couples. We each had a bedroom with en-suite bath and shared the living space. The beach was my favorite part. Hardly any people on the beach and the water was calm and warm. The food and drinks at the beach bar were all great. I would stay here again for sure.

Absolutely loved our stay at this spacious beachside apartment! The bedroom had an AC, and between that and a fan in the living room, we were able to cool off after sunny beach days. The fully equipped kitchen and cozy living room made us feel right at home. ||We were greeted with a delicious welcome drink, which was a refreshing start to our vacation. The beach bar not only offered stunning views but also served some of the tastiest food we've had. The staff were friendly, always going the extra mile to ensure our comfort. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway by a serene, calm beach. Five stars all the way!
