Amazing fun stay here for our family group of 13! Perfect location right on the beach, the restaurant overlooks the water beautiful views. We had fun in the pool and cooked on the fancy BBQ. Top notch customer service from all staff too, they go above and beyond to accommodate from booking to in person. Rooms are well appointed with useful amenities such as microwave, cutleries etc. Will stay again happily!

An absolutely faultless team — honest, warm, and genuinely down-to-earth people who make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The staff remember you and truly go above and beyond, which makes all the difference. The food was exceptional (best lemon, lime and bitters we’ve had), and the atmosphere is relaxed, family-friendly, and welcoming. It genuinely feels like a home away from home. Rooms had everything we needed, the location couldn’t be better with everything right on your doorstep, and the area feels safe and well organised with clear signage throughout. Walkability is a solid 100 — you really couldn’t ask for a better spot. A beautiful place to stay with great views, a quiet and comfortable feel, and excellent value. We’ll absolutely be back.

We had a lovely 2 night stay here. The Hosts, Glenn and Alicia were warm and welcoming; the Staff were friendly, and professional. The room was clean and fresh, Room Attendants were friendly and accommodating. Food and beverages reasonably priced - the food delicious - we had 2 x dinners and breakfast on the property. The Property as a whole is vast - clean and tidy. Lovely outdoor Function area available. Well-mannered pooches are welcomed here. We’ll be back again

First, I’d like to thank this hotel for accommodating me after I encountered a problem and ended up lost and “stuck” alone in the small town of Lancelin. I was assisted by the police to find this hotel, whom I also wish to thank. However, I’d like to comment on the price I had to pay. I was placed in a room that had not been cleaned, with dirty sheets and dishes. This did not bother me at first, as there was a clean bed and I accepted the room after seeing it, since I had no other option. What surprised me, however, was having to pay $100 for this stay. I find it quite expensive for only 5/6hours (I arrived around 10/11 pm and left at 4 am), especially in a room that was not properly prepared. I also feel that in some way, this could be seen as taking advantage of someone else’s misfortune. But I appreciate the gesture of the manager who drove me to the bus stop.

Booked in for a table of 12 for a 30th birthday. Was told we had to sit out side to add an extra 4 people… Because they were “fully booked.” Not to mention the cockroaches running on the table and the storm rolling in. They wouldn’t take the cake to the fridge. We had to beg for the perfectly clear space the fridge we could see with our eyes. We received our food, the beef and seafood were cold. When finished, they wouldn't clean our table off because according to a waitress the table was “too awkward” to clear, and she couldn’t shut the blinds because they needed space for the wind to pass through. To top it off, they wouldn’t give us cutlery or plates for a birthday cake that we supplied, unless we paid an additional $4 per head. Keeping in mind we had already spend about $100 per person X16 They have officially lost about four families worth of customers.

Made a booking for my sons 30th Birthday with family and friends (even though I was told I did not need to) ..when we arrived we had an extra 2 adults and 2 children (that had arrived as a surprise) ..we were told they could not accommodate us in the restaurant..and sat us in the covered outdoor area .. we asked if the roller shutters could be lowered as it was very cold and windy and told no .. it was too windy ..and they had to leave one section open in case of wheelchair access??? .. our meals all came out separately.. some were cold .. and waitress asked us to clear our own plates to another table as it was 'too hard to access the table to clear the plates' and we had brought an iced birthday cake when we arrived and asked if this could be held by the kitchen until later .. after the starters and mains ..we asked if the cake could be brought out and was then told this would be at a charge of $4 per head .. this I would have been more than happy to pay IF WE HAD BEEN remotely served well for our paid meals .. the main restaurant was mostly empty for the whole time we were there ..and by 8.15pm only 1 group of guests remained .. we were forced to sit out in the covered area freezing with my family and 2 year old grandson..and removing at least 2 cockroaches from the dining tables during our meals .. very very poor service!!! we had planned to stay for the music artist but decided instead to relocate to the other pub in town..Endeavour .. very disappointed with the Sands Hotel .. ruined my sons 30th birthday dinner !

This place is horrible . Booked a table 3 weeks ago and they said we don’t need to booked either way and then got put outside in the rain and wind and wouldn’t close the blinds. All food came out cold Cockroaches crawling on the tables Charges $4 a cut to cut a cake for us after we spent over $2500 Waiters asked us to bring the plates in because “it’s a awkward table to clear” Didn’t want to put our cake in the fridge because it was too hard Cake plates that we paid for came out with old onion on them and the cake came out with a butter knife for us to cut the cake with. Obviously the owner of the pub was away for the weekend or something Thanks now the kids are crying
