Lancelin Sands Hotel

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at 3 Emu sands hotel was so dismal it warrants one.||First off, it took an absurd 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food to arrive. By the time it finally did, the meals were stone cold—not even warm enough to be passable. To make matters worse, several of the ingredients were missing from our dishes, making them feel incomplete and poorly prepared. I had ordered something with a side of fresh vegetables, and instead, what arrived was a sad, barren plate of food.||The service was equally dreadful. The waitstaff seemed completely disoriented, as though they had no idea what was going on. We had to flag them down multiple times for basic requests, and when we asked for water refills, they seemed utterly lost. It was honestly frustrating and a bit uncomfortable.||My steak sandwich was had utterly despicable and it almost made me gag, and the price wasn’t even reasonable either. Another poor mistake, they had ran out of stake knifes and made us use butter knifes to cut our steak sandwiches.||All in all, the entire experience was a disaster. The food was cold, incomplete, and poorly presented, and the service was chaotic and unprofessional. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place unless you're in the mood for a long wait and disappointment. There are plenty of other restaurants nearby that will treat you better and serve you food that's actually worth your time.

Been coming here for 7 years. Love this place. Th owner is very welcoming and accommodating. If you go to their restaurant, try the seafood chowder it’s really nice.

Nice upstairs room with a view but a bit surprised to find people camping pretty much right under our window! They had emailed me to tell me we could not have a 'normal' dinner as they were hosting a Mexican night which we did not fancy. But on arrival we found they were serving food in the bar that was almost the same as we would have had in their restaurant - so all good in the end! Nice viewpoint just outside (but extremely windy) and enjoyed the dunes a short drive away.

Dropped in for lunch today & ordered salt & pepper calamari & the pasta marinara Calamari was very nice & the marinara had a nice sauce but the prawns & scallops that we were told was in the meal did not appear & two of the three mussels were served unopened - calamari & white fish pieces was the only seafood present. A little disappointed- the charming waitress told us the chef was new Great views sadly let down by underwhelming meal

Fabulous service, food and entertainment. The staff go out of their way to help provide what you need. The atmosphere was fun and relaxed with an unbeatable view.

Had a quick afternoon snack at the hotel restaurant :) the staff are very warm and welcoming. Great views to see the sunset at the outside restaurant terrace. And the fries were delicious! They offered us extra fries free of charge! Really good service

I dont Know where the good reviews are coming from or if tonight was just a rough one but this place actually sucks I’m sorry. I waited 45 minutes for my food just for it to come out cold, burnt and tasting disgusting. $120 for a charcoal steak burger, 2 chicken burgers with pieces of grilled and deep fried chicken and 2 kids fish and chips that tasted like they were served directly from the ocean, are you kidding me. The staff there are nice and friendly but the food was sooooo bad I’m sorry please hire new chefs or like learn how to cook good food. You could try taking notes from the carrington bar and grill in Hamilton hill they do it best. My advice: 1. Don’t burn the steak no one asked for a charcoal burger 2. Cook the chips fresh as needed, don’t serve soggy cold chips 3. Invest in some good fish filets not whatever tf I received yuck 4. Fry some big chicken fillets don’t make a burger out of your scraps I never leave reviews on anywhere I go, not trying to be a sad sack but I wouldn’t want anyone else wasting their money on this.
