The staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed very happy to work there which is a great sign it's a good hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the overall ambience was lovely and unique too, with an arty feel. The location is amazing, close to trams, easy walk to many places and fantastic food right there. Amenities and cleaning were well done. Everything worked properly. Value for money was good and we will absolutely happily book again. Thank you for our lovely stay. The air-conditioning system in our room felt a bit old school and provided a good amount of white noise - this wasn't an issue for us but I can understand why some would find it difficult. I'm not sure the thermostat was really working as it never got to the temperature we thought we were setting, however this didn't cause us any problems. We liked far more than we disliked!!

What a fun and sexy hotel! We had the best night here! Great professional service; art work and thoughtful interior design, all in the best location. It's only a small hotel, but they make the most of the space they have. Everything had a fun, playful quality to it. So many great restaurants and bars nearby, with all the theaters in walking distance. Even the other guests were all fun and friendly. This is my new favorite spot when staying in the city! Didn't try the breakfast - but the coffee was fantastic! Thank you Crossley St

I had such a wonderful stay at Lancemore Crossley. From the moment I arrived, the team made me feel so welcome. The service was warm, attentive, and genuine – every interaction felt personal and thoughtful. A special thank you for the beautiful gifts left in my room – such a lovely surprise that made my stay extra special. The attention to detail throughout the hotel, from the stylish interiors to the little touches, really stood out. I can’t recommend Lancemore Crossley enough for anyone looking for comfort, quality, and exceptional hospitality in Melbourne. I’ll definitely be returning! Absolutely loved our stay at Lancemore Crossley St! The vibe is relaxed and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The staff are lovely — friendly, helpful, and always happy to assist. Our room was spotless, warm, and blissfully quiet. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the Hunter toiletries and the pillow menu (a personal favourite!). The hotel is perfectly located for fab coffee, dining, and the theatre — everything is right on your doorstep. The parking arrangement with First Parking at 55 Bourke Street was also excellent — just a short stroll away, safe, close, and super convenient. The hotel's Happy Hour from 5–6pm was exceptional — beautiful regional wines, free-flowing, and served in a cosy, buzzing space with lots of other guests joining in. It had such a great, social feel without being over the top...a rarity these days! Everything about our stay was easy and enjoyable.

Spent three nights at the Lancemore, the hotel has more of an intimate vibe as there are only 6 levels, Modern artsy feel. Rooms are spacious and fairly good soundproofing from other rooms. Even though the hotel was at full capacity, it sure didn’t feel it. Located at the edge of Chinatown and only a short stroll from a nearby tram station. Everything is walking distance! Staff were attentive and friendly. Oh also one of the better sleeps I’ve had at a hotel, I’m so particular about pillows or otherwise I get a sore neck although the pillows were perfect !! Would recommend staying here.

'The Crossley' is our automatic go-to for every trip to Melbourne and has been for years. You won't find a more strategic location in the CBD with 3 theatres, a host of cafes and restaurants, a Woolworths Metro, convenience stores, newsagent, bookstores, hairdresser, barber, and tram stops all within 5 minutes walk. The hotel has a distinctive arty touch of understated sophistication, the staff is warm and welcoming and the room rates are great value for money. The complimentary Happy Hour every night is a pleasant start to the evening or end of a busy day. You can comb the accommodation offerings in town, but you can save yourself the trouble and just make a reservation at Lancemore Crossley.

Such a sexy hotel in the best location! Staff were so helpful, professional and polite and the location is amazing!!! Coffee was so good. Housekeeping keep it immaculate. Even the other guests were all super friendly and fun. This will be my regular hotel in the city from now on.

Stayed here b4. Close to office main attraction. Plenty of restaurants around. Close to theatre. Happy hr 5-6 daily. Free wifi. Unfortunately last night other patrons with little regard for others were loud in the hall on my floor (6) at 11pm, 1am and again at 5am, noting no fault of hotel. City noise such a trucks emptying bins at 3amish, suspect this would be heard at many city hotels. |
