Lancemore on Crossley is a standout stay. From the moment you arrive, the staff are genuinely welcoming and attentive without being overbearing. The rooms are modern, clean, and well laid out — not oversized, but more than adequate and thoughtfully designed. A great touch is the complimentary drinks hour from 5–6pm, which adds real value and a relaxed, social vibe to the hotel. The location is a huge win: right in the heart of the action and within easy walking distance of bars, restaurants, and cafes. On top of all that, it’s incredibly well priced for what you get. Comfortable, well-located, and excellent value — I’d happily stay here again.

Fantastic place to stay. So cozy, quirky and comfortable. We have stayed here 4 times and every time its the little touches of care that put this hotel over the top and really make it a great boutique hotel. From the welcome text messages that ask if you have any questions and requests prior to your stay or the complimentary happy hour drinks in the bar of an evening. Location is excellent. I would highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay somewhere a little different that doesn't feel to commercial or busy.

What a delight! Such a great place to call home for a couple of nights! This hotel has the best location surrounded by restaurants, theatres and bars. A gorgeous haven from the busy city. The bed was so comfortable. The staff were great. They have really thought of everything - including the number of power points and amazing smelling body wash! Thank you. We will be back!

We stayed at Lansmore Crossley Street in Little Bourke Street, Melbourne, for six nights and absolutely loved it. Our king-size room on the sixth floor was spacious, spotless, and very comfortable — the bed was heavenly! The amenities were lovely, and the whole hotel had a stylish, welcoming feel.||The staff were truly outstanding — friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond throughout our stay. We especially loved the daily happy hour from 5–6 pm with complimentary beer and wine — such a great touch.||The rooftop terrace was fantastic, and the gym and swimming pool were excellent additions. The only issue we had was with the Wi-Fi, but the staff did everything possible to resolve it, even offering us complimentary breakfast and free movies when we couldn’t use our own Netflix. Their effort and kindness made a big impression on us.||The location couldn’t be better — right in the heart of the CBD, close to Chinatown, theatres, trams, and shopping malls, making it super easy to get around or go out for dinner.||Everything about our stay was wonderful. The room, the service, the facilities — all five-star. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Melbourne.

Hotel is nice and in a good location. Staff were pleasant. Although when returning to our room after midnight there was a loud noise coming from the ceiling that sounded like an exhaust fan. This was very loud and made it very difficult to sleep. When reception was notified they seemed aware of this issue and said there wasn’t much they could do. They did offer to move us to another room, but as it was late, and we were tired and unpacked it was not practical. We raised the issue again when checking out and staff said they would look into it. Overall I don’t believe the response was good enough. It was very frustrating to not get a good nights sleep when that is what you are paying for.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and seemed very happy to work there which is a great sign it's a good hotel. The rooms were very comfortable and the overall ambience was lovely and unique too, with an arty feel. The location is amazing, close to trams, easy walk to many places and fantastic food right there. Amenities and cleaning were well done. Everything worked properly. Value for money was good and we will absolutely happily book again. Thank you for our lovely stay. The air-conditioning system in our room felt a bit old school and provided a good amount of white noise - this wasn't an issue for us but I can understand why some would find it difficult. I'm not sure the thermostat was really working as it never got to the temperature we thought we were setting, however this didn't cause us any problems. We liked far more than we disliked!!

Our first impressions when out taxi stopped outside the tiny entrance here was not good. We entered the informal check-in desk situated in the bar area which was quirky to say the least. However it works. This hotel is fabulous and amazing value for money. Rooms are small but clean, extremy confortable and well designed. The location is perfect close to the theatres and restaurants and easy walking distance to most attractions. The staff are all great. Free drinks between 5.00 and 6.00 pm helps too.|A brilliantly designed space and a perfect hotel for a tourist.

I stayed at the Lancemore for five nights solo, in mid-December for a work trip.||I hadn't been to Melbourne in probably 25 years but I found the Lancemore so well located that I had no problem finding my way to the Victoria State Govt offices which were all within a 10-15 minutes walk. The trams and the metro tunnel are also all barely 5 minutes away, giving you quick access to much of Melbourne.||The hotel itself is small, and my room was also compact, but it was spotless, cleaned well everyday and decorated a spare but tasteful style. The bathroom was relatively spacious and had decent toiletries.||The hotel is kind of within Chinatown so no issues with East Asian food. But I found a big variety of other food nearby too. I ate Italian five minutes away and also at a a very authentic Indian restaurant called Chapati just next door.||The staff were helpful, and warm, helping me quickly resolve a double booking made by my company when I checked in. The continental breakfast included was decent but I would recommend also ordering the a la carte hot food options as it just adds $5 to your bill.|These were yummy and well worth that little bit more.||They have a kind of happy hour between 5-6 pm when the lobby/breakfast becomes nice and social :) ||Oh yes, the hotel is also smack in the theatre district and there are several good bookshops nearby, which I found gratifying.||My only issue was that there wasn't enough wardrobe space (hangers and drawers) for a five day stay, especially if you had a couple business suits to hang. I’m not sure if there would be enough for a couple staying in the room either.
