Booked a night stay with dinner package. Very disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. The bathroom floor had stains & fluff was around the skirting boards. No chairs to sit on in a superior room. Went down stairs for a drink found a table which also had stains & had not been wiped. The hotel part we stayed in looked very tired and run down. I would say not worth the money we paid for the package. On a positive note we enjoyed our meal at Joseph’s the staff were very excellent. We enjoyed walking around outside.

Just spent a full week at the Lancemore Mansion hotel holidaying in Melbourne from the UK. I would like to give a massive shout out to Jit and his amazing breakfast staff I was really happy with how warm and friendly they all were and nothing was too much trouble at any point throughout my stay here. The breakfast choice was amazing and if you wanted different options the chefs were happy to cook this for you. I really enjoyed my breakfast every morning and wow they even had my favourite lurpak butter. ||The cleaning ladies who cleaned my room each day did a super amazing job ( room 102) they made sure everything was spotlessly cleaned throughout and I didn’t want for anything. In any case if I requested additional supplies the members of staff went above and beyond. ||I got so use to being here that on my day of departure I really didn’t want to leave this place is steeped in history and is quite fascinating there is always something going off and I really enjoyed the nature around and even the beautiful hot sunshine. ||The spa was a haven you definitely come out of there feeling so relaxed and that’s why I chose this mansion hotel so that I felt so relaxed before my long flight back to the UK. ||The hotel exceeded in my expectations and the views and grounds are just phenomenal. Sooooo beautiful. The little cafeteria was so awesome the cakes were divine and the staff who run this day in and day out are the sweetest human beings. ||I have some incredible memories to take back home because of you all and your kind hospitality thank you so very very much. ||Lynda ❤️

Stayed recently and was really disappointed. The room was really small and poorly designed. The bathroom was extremely small and cold. There was nothing luxurious about it. It had not been cleaned properly. When showering you get sudden unexpected bursts of boiling water. Not in any way relaxing. Dinner was amazing. Separate review done for the restaurant. Breakfast was horrendous. Tea was in a thermos which had not been refilled which meant a help yourself tea bag and Luke warm water. Coffee came from a serve yourself machine. Staff were out the back chatting when there was no cutlery or serviettes. Eggs were rubbery and scrambled with all breakfast items in a weird buffet style that had no sense to it with breakfast items placed in 4 different areas. The pastries tasted like they’d been in the fridge too long. Honestly it was overwhelming bad. We checked out early and stayed elsewhere so as to not ruin our weekend. The mansion is incredible. The grounds are amazing. The restaurant is 5 star. The hotel is certainly no where near that.

Loved the friendliness and calm manner of the staff, nothing was too much for them. All questions answered with respect. The package we were on included a buffet breakfast and highly recommend it. The rose garden was exceptional and the overall gardens are well maintained. The mansion is huge and its a "must see" for everyone. The wine tasting at ShadowX winery was within walking distance and were given expert knowledge in winemaking. Our room was warm and cosy with queen bed and a modern bathroom and large shower. Spa and heated pool, also couples hammam made the stay special. Fine dining available in the restaurant with a bar makes it the perfect stay. Congratulations to all.

We did the massage, high tea package. The Weribee mansion is in a truly gorgeous setting and the outlook onto the gardens from high tea was beautiful. The high tea itself underwhelming and no where near the best I've experienced. The day spa , especially the change rooms and showers, were dated, worn and poorly stocked. My massage, for the most part, was like a hard oily rub, that felt rushed. I was actually pleased when it was over. It was lovely to see the mansion, but I won't be back.

A perfect two night stay, stepping back in time and exploring the grounds. Beautiful service spirometer all the staff making us feel very welcome. There is lots to do around the Manor on top of being so close to the safari zoo. ROOM - The send was very soft! You just sank into it! Same with the pillows however I would have preferred a tougher pillow as an option like in most hotels you get one of each. - It was a lovely room, spacious, but if we wanted to turn off all the lights with any light switch it would turn off all the lights and our chargers so we couldn’t charge our phones during the night. So we had to turn all lights off manually which we didn’t mind but it meant the main bathroom light was on all night and it was so horrible! - Got complementary wine with a lovely hand written note in the room and wine tasting at the Winery - Ordered room service: burger $35; looked and tasted like McDonald’s food same with the chips, got the steak finger $14 and was very small but wasn’t bad, within 30 minutes of ordering we had gotten it and eaten it, so very fast but over priced - Got the moose for $20 and definitely was worth it POOL/SPA - The pool is great but was a bit unsure about the robes and slippers but you just go to the spa reception ask for a key to the lockers to put your stuff in and you get a robe and slippers! Very warm! - Ordered cocktails to the pool and was amazing! Came very quickly! - We didn’t use the spa but the ladies at the deck were lovely when we were asking questions, even sent me through email all the things they have to offer FOOD - When had dinner, portions were very expensive but small, example: ordered chicken- just got chicken breast but was delicious and filling - Breakfast was amazing! - There was only soy milk for a lactose free option ACTIVITIES - Lovely library and sat with a wine and played monopoly - We did the gourmet picnic for $79 and it was so worth it! It says it feeds two but definitely could feed 3-4 people! We had leftovers! STAFF - Staff are always happy to help - Lovely gentleman even pulled out my seat for me at dinner PHOTOS I have added photos of the amazing wine left in our room for us. The food that we ordered to our room that was over priced. The wonderful picnic box! Cocktail by the pool. 3 Photos of dinner (Starters, mains WND dessert)

This is a belated review, but I couldn’t let it go without giving a special shoutout to the incredible team at Lancemore Mansion Hotel. We had our wedding there in April, and honestly, the experience from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we started exploring venue options, the team at Lancemore made everything so smooth and stress free. Daizy from the events team was an absolute gem—helpful, attentive, and always there to make sure every detail of our wedding was perfect. We had such a wonderful time at the menu tasting, thanks to the amazing kitchen staff. Talal in particular was so friendly and thoughtful—he even personally made me a coffee on our wedding morning! On the big day, everyone—from the reception staff to Emma who drove us around in the buggy—went above and beyond to make us feel special. Even when we had a small hiccup with the blind in our suite, the team handled it seamlessly. They offered us another room, and we returned to champagne waiting for us at the end of the night—such a thoughtful touch. The little details, the genuine care, and the support from the staff made everything so easy and enjoyable. We absolutely loved every bit of the mansion and our stay at Lancemore. It has always been our favorite place, and getting to celebrate our wedding there made it even more special now. Thank you so much to everyone at Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park for your hospitality, warmth, and dedication (special shoutout too for Jessica, Jarvis, Danica). You truly made our wedding day unforgettable. Keep up the amazing work! Cindy & Benedict

Yelp
I grew up in Geelong and moved to Melbourne 10 years ago, so have done many a commute up and down the highway to visit my parents. Every time I drove through Werribee, I would gaze out the window and think "One day, Jackie... One day you'll stay at the Mansion." Finally my time came. The Mansion itself is not really a hotel, but a destination - the grounds surrounding are similar to that of the Botanical Gardens in Melbourne - perfectly manicured greens, flowers and even a greenhouse. It's the perfect place to take you mum or grandma on a Sunday afternoon. Being a guest at the hotel is just as magical. While it does come off a bit like the hotel in The Shining (you know, really creepy in that old, antique-y way) it is honestly breathtaking. We stayed in a basic room, which while small was still stunning and included a gigantic shower and king size bed. The buffet breakfast the next day was A-OK but the bar was the real standout. It is open until 1am and the bartenders are well-skilled to whip you up whatever your heart desires. A highly recommended hotel when you're after a quick yet very fancy getaway from the hustle and bustle of the CBD.

Yelp
Beautiful hotel and surroundings that were ruined by inexpierianced staff an poor service. Rooms were clean and well appointed but not worth the amount that was asked. Would not recommend.

Yelp
Stayed in a comfy heritage room. The surroundings are tranquil, very close to Werribee Zoo, with beautiful gardens. The room was a touch small, but the fittings are modern - basically everything needed for a short, comfortable stay. TVs need to be updated in these rooms. The pool is brilliant, the staff friendly and I'd go there again in a heartbeat. I would have loved to have stayed longer.
