Lancemore Mansion Hotel Werribee Park

This is a belated review, but I couldn’t let it go without giving a special shoutout to the incredible team at Lancemore Mansion Hotel. We had our wedding there in April, and honestly, the experience from start to finish was nothing short of amazing. From the moment we started exploring venue options, the team at Lancemore made everything so smooth and stress free. Daizy from the events team was an absolute gem—helpful, attentive, and always there to make sure every detail of our wedding was perfect. We had such a wonderful time at the menu tasting, thanks to the amazing kitchen staff. Talal in particular was so friendly and thoughtful—he even personally made me a coffee on our wedding morning! On the big day, everyone—from the reception staff to Emma who drove us around in the buggy—went above and beyond to make us feel special. Even when we had a small hiccup with the blind in our suite, the team handled it seamlessly. They offered us another room, and we returned to champagne waiting for us at the end of the night—such a thoughtful touch. The little details, the genuine care, and the support from the staff made everything so easy and enjoyable. We absolutely loved every bit of the mansion and our stay at Lancemore. It has always been our favorite place, and getting to celebrate our wedding there made it even more special now. Free access for guest staying here. Roof top and dinning areas was our highlight. Cafe on ground level over 40 rooms to explore must see the laundry out back in a separate building loved the hologram imaging. Servants outfits amazing.

High Tea for three at Lancemore Mansion was an absolute delight. Delicious food, tea, coffee and free flowing Cavedon Prosecco. More savoury treats than sweet which suited us. Gluten free (x2) sandwiches, scones and pastries were excellent. Light-filled, elegant room and table setting with spacious seating and garden views. The service was a highlight. All were welcoming, professional and attentive - without the 'stuffiness' that can make a High Tea experience intimidating. Highly recommended. Thanks to all in the kitchen and on the floor.

The king bed was huge and so comfortable. The room was great and quiet. The slat window shades don't provide complete block out but that didn't bother me. Wonderful atmosphere and surrounds but the thing that really made my stay special was the service provided by Renee on the front desk. So considerate and friendly, she took my needs into consideration and was super helpful. She also remembered me the next day and showed gentle genuine interest and kindness in our conversation. I have always wanted to stay at the Mansion and will be coming back for sure - especially when there is a great last minute special like the one that I got.

WOW, WOW & WOW|Staff: They go out of their way to make sure you are the most important person in the world. |Hotel: Steeped in so much history it feels like your transported back to another time as soon as you hop out of the car.|Location: Initially; you'd think why go there? (By which I mean it's out of town & may not be your first choice) Between the gardens, original mansion, vineyard (Shadow Fox) and zoo not to mention the in house pool, spa, library (great for after dinner drinks) & billiard/ snooker room.

Wonderful Anniversary weekend, We stayed at Werribee Lancemore connected to the historic Werribee Mansion and Gardens, the room a standard double was perfect, fridge, large shower, everything you need. The lobbies were well appointed with fireplaces and comfy seating, billiards were available to guests as well as indoor heated pool, breakfast was included in our stay and was delicious, we were also admitted into the historical mansion for a self- guided tour, very interesting, huge gardens, the state rose garden is located here as well. Would definitely return.

This hotel is nestled away on a fairly large property and right next to an open zoo! The hotel is a transformed former monestry dating back over 100 with so much history. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by Melissa on the front desk and the rest of the wonderful team. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here, breakfast in the morning was delicious and the grounds around the hotel are great to walk around and explore. Room was clean and modern (perhaps slightly smaller than other hotels I’ve stayed at but it is an old heritage listed building) Will definitely be back.

A perfect romantic getaway for anyone! My partner and I stayed at Lancemore to celebrate my 30th birthday. The staff could not do more to go out of their way just to make me feel special! Especially Renee at the front desk who ensured every need was met and even organising a private cheese and wine platter for my partner and I to enjoy by the fire. Shout out to Veronica in the restaurant who even on the quietest of nights brought joy and character to our evening. Would 10/10 recommend Lancemore just based on the hospitality staff alone! Start your day with a glass of wine and end it at the spa, you won’t regret staying here.

I grew up in Geelong and moved to Melbourne 10 years ago, so have done many a commute up and down the highway to visit my parents. Every time I drove through Werribee, I would gaze out the window and think "One day, Jackie... One day you'll stay at the Mansion." Finally my time came. The Mansion itself is not really a hotel, but a destination - the grounds surrounding are similar to that of the Botanical Gardens in Melbourne - perfectly manicured greens, flowers and even a greenhouse. It's the perfect place to take you mum or grandma on a Sunday afternoon. Being a guest at the hotel is just as magical. While it does come off a bit like the hotel in The Shining (you know, really creepy in that old, antique-y way) it is honestly breathtaking. We stayed in a basic room, which while small was still stunning and included a gigantic shower and king size bed. The buffet breakfast the next day was A-OK but the bar was the real standout. It is open until 1am and the bartenders are well-skilled to whip you up whatever your heart desires. A highly recommended hotel when you're after a quick yet very fancy getaway from the hustle and bustle of the CBD.

Beautiful hotel and surroundings that were ruined by inexpierianced staff an poor service. Rooms were clean and well appointed but not worth the amount that was asked. Would not recommend.

Stayed in a comfy heritage room. The surroundings are tranquil, very close to Werribee Zoo, with beautiful gardens. The room was a touch small, but the fittings are modern - basically everything needed for a short, comfortable stay. TVs need to be updated in these rooms. The pool is brilliant, the staff friendly and I'd go there again in a heartbeat. I would have loved to have stayed longer.
