Humongous fan of the actual space of this little cozy house on a hill -- it's a wonderful place to post up and read on the crazy sunken couch or hang in the huge yard area. Always a fan favorite when entertaining guests / clients.
However, you simply can't overlook the constantly neglected bathroom -- barely any soap, sometimes NO soap, sometimes NO toilet paper, sometimes NO hand towels. Like with the door being three steps from the barista area it's just NOT serviced. Maybe customers are too scared to say when they're not washing their hands (gross) or using all the TP or towels (dumb), but the staff should be aware that this is a consistent issue.
Also, and this is a HUGE THING, they're routinely out of stuff! For like days and days out of stuff. Now, that's a huge issue for me -- to visit weeks in a row and discover that their pastry section is just empty OR that they don't have a syrup to make a drink OR that don't know how to stock oat milk -- guys, don't make your strange inventory issues our problem. And if there's a day when you mess up and forget to order something or there was a rush that ate all your items or the shipment got lost / delayed, fine. BUT after a single shift of that being an issue, you've got to find a solution. Just try to make us feel like our $7 coffee, plus $1 splash of oat milk and $6 pastry is actually paying for something!
As I mentioned, LOVE the space, but as others have mentioned -- it's inconsistent in service (happy sometimes, pretentious others), inconsistent in temperature (very often freezing on cold days -- maybe know that and then start the heater an hour before open?), inconsistent in inventory (I think they sell oat milk and bagels at Publix?), sometimes greedy (charging for a splash of creamer or sprinkle of Cayenne pepper is crazy), and always on point with the worst bathroom. I don't own the place, BUT MAN it could be SO MUCH BETTER. A little more effort and be proud of our neighborhood challenge to megacorp stardollars.
