⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautifully located park right by the lake, with a beach that is also open to locals. On sunny days it can get very busy, but luckily there are also quieter spots around the lake to enjoy. The park is dog-friendly, although it would be nice if everyone used the bags provided to clean up after their dogs. There is plenty to do in the area: a treetop adventure course with lots of ziplines, renting an electric scooter for a 17 km tour around the lake, the Neptune Caves, canoe rental and much more. In our opinion, the experience of the park depends strongly on the weather: on sunny days it is a fantastic place to stay, but with the swimming pool closed there was unfortunately little to do on the park itself during bad weather. Issues with our accommodation were promptly resolved by the reception, which was much appreciated. A downside was that all three washing machines were out of order. On the positive side, our house had a stunning view over the lake. A real recommendation nearby is Thai Smile Wellness in Froidchapelle (only 3.4 km from the park) for a wonderful traditional Thai massage.

Stayed here with friends for a weekend in a 6 person cabin. The cabin was decently equipped but really showed its age. A lot of plates and glasses were dirty, but I don't think that's on the cleaning crew but rather on the previous guests. The park is located beautifully on the lake, which is nice to swim in. There are also a lot of visitors outside the park who use the parking and beach of the park. Check in and check out was fast and the staff was friendly.

Don't be fooled by the pictures provided online! Immediately upon arriving, we could smell mould in the whole bungalow. We could see it has been poorly painted over, because there was paint on the door frames. The staff also didn't bother to remove the furniture while painting so that the mattresses had paint stains on them too. The whole bungalow was filthy and clearly hasn't been properly cleaned for a long time. The floor was dirty, there were dead bugs all over the place, huge spider webs direcly above the bed. The bedroom window, which was a floor level window fell into my face when I tried to opened it. It was not attached to the wall anymore, like at all. Anyone could have just walked into the bedroom by night because there was a man-high hole in the wall. We complained about the mould stench, then someone from the staff came ans sprayed chemicals in the kids room. My kid has asthma, so he was not able to sleep in the room. As a reaction to our complaint about spraying chemicals without a warning, two very loud air purifying machines were brought. They were so loud, we could't let them run over night. This is just a cutout of the absolute insolence that we have faced here. This has been the worst accomodation I have ever been to and I travelled a lot, also in non-western countries. The vacation we have been working for the whole year was ruined. I can't believe people are actually that shameless to charge money for this bungalow.

After reading a couple of negative reviews, we changed our stay here from 7 nights to 4 nights (choosing to go onto another area). However, wished we hadn't as we had the most wonderful bungalow, in a calm and peaceful location. A short walk to the lake. Lots of cycling locally both around the lakes and across to Chimay. I highly recommend this park. My only reservation would be that the swimming pool is closed permanently, but when the weather is nice, you can swim in the lake which offers a nice beach area.

None of the electric car chargers work. No hot water during our stay. The park looks promising at first, but is seriously deteriorated. Dog poo everywhere, including the beach and kids play areas, despite the frequent and free bag dispensers.

We stayed 4 nights in August 2024. Park is beautiful and quite, perfect place to relax in the nature. Nice forest, lake and beach (the water is freezing tho). The area has plenty of beautiful routes for hiking. The house we got was not what we expected. It was ‘clean’ but with an overall musty-moldy smell that intensified in the toilet, bathroom, bed blankets and mattress. When we arrived there were a lot of flies in the living room and a broken fly swatter. When we made the bed a lot of dust came out. The house we got didn’t have much natural light and we couldn’t open windows or doors to ventilate otherwise more flies would enter again. If you go with a dog, he would have to be on his leash all the time unless you go really early to the lake where not other people is, so he can walk and swim

We are on the second day of our 11 (!) day trip. We booked a luxury rated house with a nice, big sauna. We have been to this location six times now, always a wonderful experience, except this one.|Without communicating on the website the saunas were restricted in temperature to 80°. They removed the temperature gauge. There is no no chance of a Finnish sauna experience, which was no problem before.|We are very, very disappointed and would not have come here had we known in advance.|We expected a beautiful winter stay with beautiful sauna experiences, a relaxing time out around my birthday, only to find that the main reason we choose this park - the sauna - has been taken away from us.

Families by day, party's by night. Biggest downside being a family with young kids on vacation: untill now every night lake-side party's with sound carrying far and loud across the water till 4 or 5 AM. One night it was the boatingschool across the water, the other night a houserave in the park and then the lakeside bar. Waking up to loud party sounds in the AM does take out a significant part of the fun for me personally. Apart from that - a beautiful park near the lake with a small beach with lots to do and a nice beachbar; swimming, surfing, supping, boating, etc. The beach is relatively small but sufficient and not too busy. The park relatively well maintained (apart from the swimming pool (out of order), jump in (badly maintained & (dirty) laundry selfservice). The indoor playground is pretty nice though. A resumé; peculiar mix of a family park & ongoing beachparty summerfest location.
