We stayed 4 nights in August 2024. Park is beautiful and quite, perfect place to relax in the nature. Nice forest, lake and beach (the water is freezing tho). The area has plenty of beautiful routes for hiking. The house we got was not what we expected. It was ‘clean’ but with an overall musty-moldy smell that intensified in the toilet, bathroom, bed blankets and mattress. When we arrived there were a lot of flies in the living room and a broken fly swatter. When we made the bed a lot of dust came out. The house we got didn’t have much natural light and we couldn’t open windows or doors to ventilate otherwise more flies would enter again. If you go with a dog, he would have to be on his leash all the time unless you go really early to the lake where not other people is, so he can walk and swim

The ending was terrible! Edited 03.12.2024 "After one and Half month battle with concrete evidence. Now my conclusion is this never ever forget anything in the park. Because you will never ever get it again. " However, the beginning was good, still waiting for the answer. To be clear, guests take care of their belongings and if you forget something in the accommodation, you will never find it. The main reason for not recommending this park is because, If you forget something in it, it does not matter if it is expensive or cheap. You will never find it. Alternatively, you will get the useless part of it. Although you also have clear evidence and trackable facility. The receptionist or management will reply that, that is all they have. They hire another company for cleaning etc.et it.

Families by day, party's by night. Biggest downside being a family with young kids on vacation: untill now every night lake-side party's with sound carrying far and loud across the water till 4 or 5 AM. One night it was the boatingschool across the water, the other night a houserave in the park and then the lakeside bar. Waking up to loud party sounds in the AM does take out a significant part of the fun for me personally. Apart from that - a beautiful park near the lake with a small beach with lots to do and a nice beachbar; swimming, surfing, supping, boating, etc. The beach is relatively small but sufficient and not too busy. The park relatively well maintained (apart from the swimming pool (out of order), jump in (badly maintained & (dirty) laundry selfservice). The indoor playground is pretty nice though. A resumé; peculiar mix of a family park & ongoing beachparty summerfest location.

Good location for vacation homes. The house was good when we arrived there were a lot of flies around in the house. Would be nice to have possibility to charge a EV at the house and a extra fridge. Sadly the swimming pool is closed. This does give a bad first impression when arriving at the park.

We are on the second day of our 11 (!) day trip. We booked a luxury rated house with a nice, big sauna. We have been to this location six times now, always a wonderful experience, except this one.|Without communicating on the website the saunas were restricted in temperature to 80°. They removed the temperature gauge. There is no no chance of a Finnish sauna experience, which was no problem before.|We are very, very disappointed and would not have come here had we known in advance.|We expected a beautiful winter stay with beautiful sauna experiences, a relaxing time out around my birthday, only to find that the main reason we choose this park - the sauna - has been taken away from us.

The house we stayed in was poorly maintained. Vacumcleaner 100% clogged up which also used by cleaning crews hence house was poorly cleaned. In a couple of hrs you can bring it back up.to par but team does not appear to care. Central facilities samething try to have a morning coffee and the advice is to walk 45 min (one way) to the nearest bar....

The park itself is quite nice with a spacious set up of the vacation homes. Plenty of nature around and of course the lake. We had the 6 person home with sauna and even though it’s slightly outdated it’s clean and the beds are very comfortable. Having your own sauna is a nice addition of course (if that’s your thing). The staff speaks both French and Dutch (which is a welcome addition in a region where they only speak French). BUT this is where the positive points end because even though the staff is very friendly and helpful, this is only superficial. Heating in the homes is crappy with the thermostat going off after 10-15 minutes or so regardless of movement or not (there’s a motion sensor connected to it). And then there’s the WiFi. It’s TERRIBLE!!! Not only is it extremely slow and at times not even working it is also open without any form of security. This means any hacker can easily get into the network and get access to people’s data. Imagine a park with hundreds of people on it without any security. It’s extremely slow because it has to divide the speed with hundreds of users. In 2024 this is simply unacceptable. Staff knows about it but cannot do anything about it (and initially brush it off saying their mechanic can’t find any problem - so it’s us in other words). The region is quite remote but there are some nice places nearby like Walcourt and Dinant. All-in-all it’s a nice place to go to but don’t expect much luxury and if you want to work from this park (like I had to), bring your own WiFi access point.

we already have booked, paid all in full with a confirmation of it and suddenly I receive an email that Landal is changing the agreement and asks for more money as some part of the money has changed We can't have this, if suddenly costs in the agreement change after all is paid for will change at will at any moment. And do this at short notice before going to Landal. What is the value of an agreement if costs change after paying all ?! We want to cancel this booking if we can't be sure about Landal honouring the agreement For me, for this booking, ZERO stars but you can't give that so just 1 star. The booking for Christmas will not be done with Landal
