Landescape Furnas

My husband and I stayed here on a recent visit to Sao Miguel and we would highly recommend it! The rooms were comfortable and were well stocked with kitchen supplies and bathroom supplies. The robe and slippers were a plus too!! It's located right in Furnas and you can walk or drive to get into town. The staff was responsive anytime we reached out for anything as well.

This was the nicest hotel we’ve ever stayed at. It’s only 5 rooms, so it was always quiet and relaxing. We were able to enjoy the pool, hot tub and sauna to ourselves most days. And the best part was every morning they deliver warm breads to your door, to go with the fruit, jam, eggs and milk in the stocked fridge! It was about a 10 minute drive from Grena park and a few other attractions, or you could walk to the city.

Stayed here for almost a week and it was wonderful.||We looked forward to the steam room (Turkish bath), jacuzzi, sauna and pool every day. My favourite was the steam room. ||You just need to give the staff some notice about the steam room use so that they can turn it on.||For our lost luggage, staff were very good about receiving it while we were out sightseeing, and placing it in our room. ||There is a great trail behind the property. The beginning of the trail is easy to miss, and is by the pedestrian gate entrance/exit. The trail takes you down to a bride, which you cross, then takes you to a beautiful trail through the woods. ||They replenished our food everyday, which was appreciated. If you don't finish your bread, be sure to pack away what you intend to eat later. We left some bread in the sack intending to have it at lunch, but they took away the sack assuming we did not want the rest.

Absolutely perfect on every level. Gorgeous location overlooking the forest, everything is in pristine condition, if you need help staff is available but if you don`t want any human contact you`re left alone which is a dream come true for any introverts or people with anxiety! Comfiest bed I`ve ever slept on, this place alone is worth coming to the Azores

This has to be one of the most special and beautiful places in the world. As soon as we arrived, we were in awe of the beauty of this area. You will not find a more relaxing and beautiful place to get away. The photos on their website do not do justice to this extraordinary Location. You feel like you are in your own private hub as there are only five separate suites on the property. The rooms are spacious—there is a wonderful kitchen and bathroom that are top-notch. The fresh bread that they bring every morning is absolutely delicious. Also, they bring eggs, yogurt, as well as meats and cheeses that are replenished in the fridge. They also provide the coffee pods for the maker. teabags are also provided. The service here is stellar. Estevao came on our first full day to show us how to work some of these appliances. Also, when you are there, definitely booked the Turkish bath. It was our favourite thing to do each day. We also loved the Jacuzzi and the sauna. The pool is absolutely fantastic as well! I cannot thank the owners enough for such a beautiful stay. It was way beyond our expectations and we are so appreciative to have experienced this vacation. Housekeeping is also stellar! The two ladies are so incredibly friendly and helpful. You really feel like you are at home staying here. Thank you again for this wonderful experience.

Amazing spot to enjoy nature, with a calm and friendly environment. Amenities great to relax after a day exploring the island with the pool and outdoor heated Jacuzzi! Strongly recommended!

No complaints about this hotel. Great service and room. Big kingsize bed, towel warmer for the shower, little kitchenette with everything you might need. Kitchen is stocked with milk, cheese, yogurt, meat and eggs for breakfast. My favourite was the fresh warm bread and buns delivered every morning. ||The pool and hot tub were great. We never tried the sauna or steam room. ||The lodge is tucked away, but you can walk to restaurants - about 20 minutes.

We stayed at this hotel in August 2024, booking a room for 5 nights, and we were absolutely satisfied with our experience. The hotel is small and feels more like a complex of apartments than a traditional hotel, as during our entire stay, we only saw the cleaners a few times. We never met the manager or anyone from the hotel in person, as all matters were handled online, which was actually quite convenient. It really gave the impression of renting a small house with a pool, tucked away in a beautiful forest. If you enjoy being close to nature and far from city noise, this place is perfect for you. The windows face an internal garden, and there are only a few rooms on the property, so we never encountered crowds around the pool or any noise, which we really appreciated. The pool is quite large, and while swimming, you get a lovely view of the surrounding nature. There’s also a jacuzzi and sauna near the pool that you can book and enjoy. We also really appreciated the housekeeping service. The cleaner came every day and did an excellent job of tidying the room. It was very comfortable to return to a well-kept room after a day of exploring. I highly recommend this hotel for a peaceful family getaway.
