Fantastic experience in this histroic and gorgeous hotel with plenty of facilities and very good included breakfast and beautiful restaurant. Well located to city beside the river. Very friendly and helpful staff. We loved it and hopefully come back.

I absolutely recommend Albert & Frida! The hotel is beautifully situated near the river Aare just adjacent to the town center and thus within walking distance from all you may want to view while in Bern. The staff is amazingly friendly and the rooms are clean, cozy and have a unique ambience to them. You can tell that the people love what they are doing. Moreover, they really attune to your needs - even if they are special ones. For technical reasons, I accidentally booked my stay for an incorrect date. Even though it was my mistake and they could easily have just shrugged their shoulders, they not only waived one of the payments - they waived the more expensive one!! So I ended up spending less for a more luxurious room... A totally unexpected and exceptional courtesy!! Thank you, Albert and Frida! Will certainly be back!

Great small hotel. Cozy and clean with a nice breakfast. Staff were really friendly. The location was perfect for us - quiet area, but a short walk or tram to everything.

Anything other than a 5-star wouldn't suffice my appreciation for this hotel. Friendly personnel, beautiful room well maintained, anything you expect from a family run hotel you achieve here. Thanks for letting us stay there!

The room was comfortable and set up just as we needed. The breakfast was outstanding. They easily accommodated food sensitivities with surprising selection. Decor is fun, eclectic, and comfortable. To top it off was the amazing staff. From the person who checked us in and informed us how to float down the river to the person who made cafe au lait in the morning, everyone was friendly, helpful, and greeted with a genuine smile. It felt so welcoming.

Albert and Frida is a lovely casual dining bistro just across the bridge from the main tourist street in Bern. Fresh, homemade meals at a good price. The outdoor patio looks really nice though it was too cold when we were there.

Amazing hospitality by all of the staff. So welcoming and took great care of us all around, especially with our breakfast requests. Great recommendations on what to do, even on a rainy day. Comfortable beds, cozy clean room, nice view of the river and great location near the Rosengarten and Bears.

Beautiful hotel just across the river from all of the shops restaurants, near bears :( . Terrific staff, really welcoming, beautiful common rooms on each level, but the actual rooms are super tight with hardly room for your case and oddly the walls don't go all the way up so noise travels easily.
