It’s a comfortable facility with a hotel, restaurant and conference rooms (we had a company off-site there). The area is green and quiet, the hotel has an old fashioned spirit including open fire in the restaurant. The room was functional and cozy. The conference room was spacious, with very nice design, full of light and air. If you would like to have a dinner at the restaurant — make sure you book in advance, it’s a popular place with really good food. Parking is available. Breakfast is also very nice. The personnel are helpful and professional.

The restaurant - staff members were very very nice . Atmosphere and food flavour was very good and quality for both breakfast and dinner . I love the idea of homemade butter . The hotel - Dislike - The hotel offering way below expectations. Our room was downgraded without telling us . its quite unfair and unacceptable . Check out was nightmare , the receptionist was below par .

I tried to book with a larger group for two nights, one of which included dinner. We would be 13 couples, totaling 26 people. The persons I spoke to during a period of time to finalize the reservation showed complete lack of understanding in arranging dinner for 26 since they only accommodate up to 25 in a group in the restaurant if we didn’t pay 4000 euros for the whole group, i.e. 100% more than a normal dinner per person. They also refused to split us into two groups. I regret their decision, but most of all, I am very surprised and saddened by their unpleasant and arrogant attitude. I hope they are nicer to the guests they do accommodate.

Fantastic place! We stayed one night in a lovely room with a big balcony, very nice bed and bathroom. We had not reserved a table in the restaurant, since it was a weekday, thinking not so many guests would be around. We were so very wrong, this place is immensely popular so table reservations are a must. The atmosphere of the restaurant/bar/reception is incredibly nice and relaxed. Will definitely stay again if we have the chance!

The hotel is expertly decorated with a warm wooden feel. The reception assistant Kai was kind, caring, helpful, and super friendly. Large comfortable beds. Super delicious restaurant downstairs. Highly recommend staying here with a small infant.

Here you feel well taken care of by the staff, the room was large and modern design integrated with the old. Lovely bathroom, comfortable bed and bed linen, slightly worse was the spot lighting when darkness fell. The breakfast was completely to my liking, beautifully and cleverly presented. As I said, fewer articles and better. That's right. Struggled a bit with the German mouth protection policy, but everything was in good faith.

We stayed at this place due to the proximity to the Barclaycard Arena rather than staying in the city. The hotel is in a nice suburban area and is actually a rebuild farm house. The area is nice, quiet and safe. The hotel itself is very nice with cosy rooms that are certainly different from the usual city hotels.Breakfast was great and the restaurant is better than great. We had dinner in the garden and both service and food quality is second to none. The reception staff was friendly and efficient. So, not complaints and all and surely I´ll use this place again when in Hamburg.||One might argue that location is not the best since it is about 30 minutes from the city. However, the S-Bahn is just a 15-20 minutes nice walk away. The S-Bahn is a nice way to commute to/from and within Hamburg.||||All in all; highly recommended.

Warm welcome from Reception and baggage carried and placed in room||Room delightful, with welcome decanter. Room spotlessly clean and very comfortable.||Restaurant adorable... Fire Place directly in the centre of the room and comfortable, discreet round tables placed around the room made for excellent conversation.||||Waiting Staff charming and very professional with perfect English Language Skills.||Food and wine was excellent and creatively served. ||||Our guests were greeted so they felt really at home. ||||Breakfast available until 11 am which is great … we went for a nice long walk in a nearby park with views of the River Elbe leading out to sea.||||Wonderful to get away from the city into what once was a pretty village, which still has beautiful old thatched cottages and huge barns .. indeed Hygge Restaurant (the Hotel Restaurant) is simple a stunningly converted Barn which is trendy, comfortable and discreet. Well done. Hope to be back sometime soon. Thank you
