My first visit to the lovely town of Graz, Austria, was delightful. The city charmed me with its people, heritage, scenery, and food. There was so much energy as I arrived in town, eager to indulge in authentic Austrian cuisine.
The restaurant I visited is situated next to an old heritage house, and dining outdoors was especially enjoyable with the cool night breeze. The menu featured authentic Austrian dishes, and we started with a variety of appetizers: slow-cooked pork neck, lamb salad, beef broth, and beef tartare. Each dish was outstanding.
For the main course, I had the charred fillet with truffle spaghetti and sautéed zucchini and tomatoes. The fillet was perfectly cooked, with a charred exterior and moist interior. Most of my colleagues opted for beef dishes, which they also found excellent. Overall, it was a fantastic place to relax with a few glasses of wine.
