Landhuis Klein Santa Martha hotel

Did not stay here only went for dinner one night. With all the complimentary 5* reviews we had high expectations. First there was not system in place for how to get a table. One server, nobody at the front desk and finally someone at the bar simply waved to us. When we approached her not a single word spoken just pointed at the lone server who sat us. Yes great view, place looks great but perhaps they could keep the seven dogs off the patio. Now all things considered the service was okay with the one person dealing with eight tables. Now to the food. Surf and turf, cold at the most 4/10. Ribs 2/10 only because the fries were great. Left 3/4 of them on the plate. Told the server they were dry, tasteless and tough. Zero concern for customer satisfaction. I like to give fair feedback and not pretend everything is just so great. You are not doing a service to the restaurant or future customers by sugar coating a place that needs improvement.

I did not sleep in the hotel, just visited the restaurant, but it is situated in a lovingly renovated colonial villa on one of the most beautiful spots of the island. The view from the terrace is breathtaking and at night you sit under a million stars, as it is far away from the citylights. It has a lovely little pool and the service is so friendly. I am sure a stay at the hotel will be super romantic, if you appreciate the vintage "luxury country home" style. You are close to some "hidden" natural beaches. Asknfor directions, bring your own food and maybe even some bubblea and you will have an amazing experience, away from the crowds.

I really enjoyed my stay at Klein Santa Marta. I rented the cottage which also allowed me to cook a few meals and have a more homey experience in Curaçao. The location is great for exploring the western part of the island including local beaches and nature parks. The staff is wonderful, kind, and knowledgeable, and there are two adorable dogs who live at the hotel, who are eager to welcome you.

We just went for dinner. The view is amazing. The food the excellent. Toured the hotel and it is very quaint. This is on the quiet end of the island and requires transportation.

We ate at the restaurant here. The fish cakes with the mango salsa was outstanding!! The fondue for two people was too much for both of us. I think we could have shared one for one person. It was very good. The service was good, the views are amazing and the price was very reasonable. I would go back!

We had a lovely week long stay at Landhuis Santa Martha! Our room was lovely and the meals we had were all lovely. We loved the location…we were able to explore all of the island! We will be back to Curaçao and would absolutely be back to Landhuis Santa Martha!
