Switzerland LGBTQ+ Travel Guide: I've Visited 10 Times — and These Are the Best Spots for LGBTQ+ Travelers
"At Zurich’s lakeside Landiwiese park I watched flickering stage lights and a rainbow of colors light up the crowd during Pride, with tank tops, colorful wigs, stuffed “Finding Nemo” fish, drag queens, waving rainbow flags, and Nemo performing an extended version of “The Code” to thousand-strong cheers — a joyful, theatrical atmosphere that felt celebratory and inclusive." - Adam Groffman

Landiwiese is a great place for all sorts of occasions. There are so many different events happening throughout the year, it's hard not to find something that interests you. It's a great place for a day out with friends, the theater festival in summer is always great, and I can't say enough about the barbecues and picnics! The place is beautiful and spacious, so you always have plenty of room for everyone.

was in Zurich for a 7 hour transit and decided to take a walk over purely based off internet recommendations. I was there pretty early in the morning, at about 9am and the place was quiet and peaceful with a handful of children and joggers.
no events happening when I was there, just a wonderful view and lil duckies. a swan was hanging out in the area with a bunch of ravens too. I didn’t explore much beyond the immediate vicinity of the lake but the walk over was lovely and so was the park.
pictures of birds, views and a statue attached. also this adorable cat that was just outside the underpass. i don’t know who your mom/dad is but you made my day, thank you.

Beautiful outdoor park area with regular events and attractions. The yearly Theaterspektakel, starting from Mid-August, is a treat for food lovers, theater enthusiasts as well as friends of busker artists from around the world.

I'd been only in this place during the Zürcher Theaterspektakel, where is filled with stalls and wooden cabins that serve food and drinks.
Is a nice green area in the middle of Zürich with acces to the lake.
A nice place to relax and enjoy nature in a city enviroment.
During the Festival there are plenty of perdormances including comedy, theater, contemporary dance and other scenic installations.
Is worth a visit.
