Visiting Landmark 81 in Ho Chi Minh City was a memorable experience. The building itself is impressive, not only because of its height but also because of how well it blends modern design with a relaxed atmosphere. The views from the upper levels are beautiful and give a clear sense of the city’s size and energy. The area around Landmark 81 is clean, well organized, and pleasant to walk through, with good restaurants, cafés, and green spaces nearby. Everything felt well managed and welcoming, making the visit comfortable and enjoyable. It’s a place that shows the modern side of Ho Chi Minh City and is worth visiting, whether for the view, a walk by the river, or simply to experience a different perspective of the city.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A Sky-High Experience – One of the Most Impressive Landmarks in Asia I visited Landmark 81 on February 10, 2025, and the experience was nothing short of spectacular. This skyscraper is truly one of the architectural highlights of Ho Chi Minh City, and standing inside it feels like stepping into a vision of the future. The observation deck sits at roughly 370 meters, offering a breathtaking 360-degree view over the entire metropolis of Saigon. The sheer size of the city becomes visible from up here – endless streets, rivers, lights, and movement. The elevator launches you upward at incredible speed, and within seconds you step into a world far above the noise of the streets. The building itself follows the classic American model: a luxurious, multi-level shopping mall occupies the lower floors, complete with high-end boutiques, elegant cafés, and even an indoor ice-skating rink – something you usually associate with New York rather than Vietnam. It gives the entire place an international, cosmopolitan flair. What made the visit truly unique were the interactive elements. A 3D climbing simulation allows you to “scale” the exterior of the tower and then “glide” back down with a virtual paraglider. It’s playful, immersive, and surprisingly thrilling. Even more memorable was the moment on the open-air terrace, where parts of the floor are glass. Looking up from there at the huge antenna structures towering another 70–80 meters above made my stomach drop in the most exhilarating way. Accessing Landmark 81 through Blank Cafe was smooth and hassle-free. The cafe itself has a nice, relaxing vibe—perfect for a short break before heading up. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the whole process easy and pleasant. The experience felt well-organized and enjoyable from start to finish. Highly recommended if you want a comfortable and convenient way to visit Landmark 81!

Wellness & Leisure One of the highlights is the Horizon Spa & Wellness facilities located on the 47th floor, which offers peace and luxury with panoramic views and an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the city that offers the feeling of swimming above the city. The fitness center is well-equipped, with modern machines and an inspiring view while you work out. Food & Drink The Oriental Pearl Restaurant, located high up, is a culinary delight. From large windows, you can enjoy the view while you eat. The breakfast buffet has an international selection, Vietnamese food stations and fresh pastries from the hotel's own bakery. In the evening, you can enjoy the seafood buffets that are often offered - especially the shrimp dishes and sashimi are highly praised. Vinpearl Room service offers the same menu as the restaurant, with fast delivery and high quality. Vinpearl Bar “The Cloud” by the lobby adds to the sophisticated atmosphere, perfect for a quiet drink after a long day. Service and atmosphere Service is a definite plus with the warm, professional and unobtrusive service of the staff. Location The hotel is located in Binh Thanh district, not in the typical tourist areas but it is still well connected. There is an underground shopping mall, restaurants, a cinema, and even an ice rink. Grabtaxi makes it easy to get around. Experience and overall impression This hotel feels like an iconic symbol of modern Vietnam. The architecture, inspired by the bamboo theme, reflects both strength and elegance. When staying here, you experience a blend of local culture and international luxury, from the artisanal details to the restaurants, spa and service. The hotel is not only beautiful, it also has spacious, quiet and well-appointed rooms. Loved it. It's the 5'th talles building in the world so it is special. You buy a ticket to go up, 300000 VND / person, but it's worth it. On the 79 floor, there are some restaurants and some outside pods for drinking and eating, level 80 and 81 are observation decks. On the tallest floor there is an outside observation deck, tou get a harnes and spend about 3 minutes outside. Sometimes there is a line of people waiting to go. Also there is a very good spot in the 80'th floor for sunset if you are lucky to ve at the right time and no clouds ar smog.

The lower-level floors provide a good range of affordable shopping and F&B options, making it suitable not only for special occasions but also for everyday visits. This thoughtful mix of high-end experiences and practical retail creates a well-rounded destination for different audiences. Overall, Landmark 81 successfully integrates hospitality, lifestyle, and accessibility in one location. Based on my experience, it is well worth a visit,and I would recommend others to explore it for themselves, as they may discover even more to enjoy than I did.

It's worth a try. You may buy ticket online or at the counter which located at the B1 level. Ticket at weekend is more expensive than working day. The recommended visiting time is perfectly at sunset or night time. It takes about 1-1.5 hours to visit, depending on how long to queue to go the skydeck where you stay close to stars! Be well prepared, especially for kids due to the strong and chilled wind outside.

The view from Landmark 81 is truly impressive, offering a stunning perspective of modern Saigon from above. When we arrived, there was a technical issue with the ticketing system, so we had to wait about 40 minutes before we could buy tickets and go up. In the meantime, we explored the shopping mall, which is lively, modern, and quite impressive on its own. After entering, a photo is taken of visitors on the ground floor, which can later be purchased upstairs. Despite the initial delay, the experience was enjoyable, and the panoramic view is definitely worth the visit.
