Landmark Restaurant

For me this is the best restaurant to get a real breakfast for the $$ and I found out I can do a split order of hash browns and grits without paying dbl. It's filling for me eat some now save the rest for later unless I'm really hungry. The special in the picture is called the Hungry Man and I ask for crispy 🥓 🥓 and sausage well done

Heard some good things about 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 so decided to try breakfast early Friday morning. The food was SERIOUSLY great! My gf and I ordered 2 hungry man meals, with French toast 🍞 , bacon 🥓, eggs 🍳 , turkey sausage. We also ordered oj, white chocolate cappuccino ☕️ and cheese grits 🥣. The dining room was busy yet service was quick and flawless 👏🏾 highly recommend!

It was our first time here yesterday and everything was amazing! We sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks. Kobie and the other staff we interacted with while we visited were so fun and friendly. It made the experience unforgettable! We ordered the Bao Swirl Buns and BBQ Bruschetta to start and they were delectable! We ordered a variety of things to sample for a takeout order such as, brisket, pulled pork, pork belly, Mac & cheese, cucumber salad, cornbread, and the Mac & Cheese entree. Everything we sampled was delicious and makes for great leftovers!

It was my first time there, and I loved the vibe there. Workers were very polite, and I would love to come back.

I love this place! You feel right at home. It’s busy, and I can see why! The food was great and the prices cannot be beat. I really liked my monte cristo sandwich and the cappuccino was wonderful (sweet vanilla flavor). I appreciate the staff’s kindness.

My only complaint is that they close early. This place has great home style breakfast! I would definitely recommend giving yourself time rather you are calling in or dining in.

Hmmm... well, I feel set up for disappointment. Based my pick to come here on two menu photos here in Yelp. Was looking forward to ordering a bowl of some sort. Those menus do NOT go with this Landmark Restaurant! But I drove separate from my mom, so we just went with it. We were there for lunch, but their specialty is clearly breakfast. This is an inexpensive place, so kudos for that. The service was good. The bathroom was clean. And I enjoyed the chicken & rice soup. The tuna melt was edible, but not much more. But hey, it is, what it is. A quick, little inexpensive place to grab a bite.

This was my first time in the Midwest & my first experience at an authentic diner. My mom & I came in for breakfast on Halloween & all of the waitresses were wearing super cute, fun costumes. They were extremely kind to us! I got the two egg breakfast with turkey sausage, eggs scrambled with cheese, and French toast plus coffee. Our waitress was fantastic & kept the coffee flowing at all times. Our food took a long time even though it wasn't too busy, which our waitress apologized for multiple times & said she was keeping an eye out for our orders, so we totally understood. I also saw that others got their food relatively quickly, so I'm sure it was a fluke. The portions were huge & food delicious. The French toast & eggs were piping hot, while the turkey sausage was a bit lukewarm -- probably my fault for ordering turkey sausage at a diner. My mom got her meal with blueberry pancakes, which were amazing & chock full of fresh berries. The prices are unbelievable for the quality & size -- the two egg breakfast (which comes with French toast or pancakes!) is just $6.

The service was excellent but the food was terrible. I ordered a whiting dinner and I got two processed fish fillets like you get at McDonald's, processed mashed potatoes and stems for broccoli no florets. I will never go there again.

First time here at the suggestion of a Cousin. Its COVID time; therefore, masks are required while not eating and social distance measures are in affect. Well kept place on St. Clair seems to be a staple in the community and many members seem to come. I ordered the Double Vision which was 2 pancakes, 2 french toast, 2 orders of bacon, 2 sausage links and I added a 50/50 of grits and hashbrowns. Everything was good and I'll be back to try two more things.

Diamond in the rough! This is my favorite Cleveland diner. Service is friendly, food is delicious every time! The price is refreshing. My go breakfast/lunch spot.

This is a fantastic joint serving up simple, honest, and tasty breakfast all day. Grits, biscuits and gravy, and corn beef too - all there! Highly recommend when you are looking for that home cooked meal feel in a homey joint.

The customer service was really good. Our server Sierra/Ciera was awesome and so personable, she gave great recommendations too!

The food is good and they give you adequate potions. I usually get breakfast , however will be trying their lunch and dinner menu.

Made a date with a friend to dine at the Landmark because our previous visits were delightful. Good food and good staff. Only this time it was quite different. My friend came to the table visibly upset because they told her she had to stay outside on the sidewalk. It is clear that even though this establishment has been in business for decades they are ignorant of ADA laws. Management demanded paperwork and verification in the form of a tag to justify her service dog. This is not even a thing and against the ADA. Then, even after sharing the ADA law via an official gov doc with management staff was told to ignore us. How dare they treat a disabled person in such a way. People do not choose to be epileptic. Clean diner, kind of expensive and the lady that took my order on the phone was rushing me.

Ordered hash browns and wings and boiled eggs. Potatoes and wings had little seasoning or flavor. The restaurant was takeout only when we visited and they were very friendly and helpful and I felt safe coming in to order. We stopped here because many of the restaurants on the street were crowded or not answering the phone. They get two stars for the friendliness and set up for COVID protection and speed of having food ready.

Ate here today for the first time. I had the western omelet with hashbrowns, side of grits with cheese, and rye toast. My wife had a similar combo but with a veggie omlet. Very tasty and plentiful. Good food and great value. Very nice folks. We will return.

I LOVE landmark, it is my go to breakfast spot! If you end up there on a sunday be prepared for a huge church crowd but amazingly enough they are able to accomodate their guests without a long wait. Its your pretty typical quick meal diner and the staff is at the top of the list for hustlers of cleveland. They get food to and from tables with lightening speed. I ordered a bacon cheese omelet and although she messed up she corrected her mistake and i ended up with two omelets, one of which i gave to a gentleman i saw standing on a nearby corner ( i know i enabled him but he was hungry), and my bill was not over charged for a mistake. My kids loved their pancakes and sausage, french toast and hash browns. It was all perfect and flavorful and came out pipping hot! this is the way breakfast is supposed to be served and it seriously reminds me of jersey diners!

I called in my order for a Double Vision breakfast with bacon, sausage links, French toast and pancakes. Other than wanting to try their French toast, I normally would not have ordered all the sweet carbs. But my order was ready and all the plastic ware etc was there.

It's just simple breakfast l. Things a cave man can make. Restaurant is typically clean with good services but all the servers look like dope fiends. My eggs were good as well as my bacon. Coffee was bitter and warm.

Came here for the first time today . Great customer service and French toast was really good !! Do recommend and will be coming again .

This place is ok at best. There's no real love put into the food. It's pretty much food one can make at home. Whatever you do, Don't get the steak! It was tough and over cooked ‍.

Best breakfasts just like Red Chimney! I grew up eating at this place! They have turkey and beef sausage too!

Had a GREAT SATURDAY BREAKFAST with the family! Food was GREAT! Service was amazing!! Customers all joking with each other!! Felt like a BIG FAMILY, the team work between staff was AMAZING!!

I made a previous review granting praises but sadly, I have to recant. The place is clean at first glance but upon further inspection you'll find that it is quite the contrary. Fly traps adorn the walls poorly hidden by the dusty fake plants. The food is ok if you're hungry enough and it's pretty cheap. That's about the only good thing I can say about the place. Sherri was lovely, both times I've been she was a delight. Took care of me quickly and was always smiling and really nice. If your looking for a quick bite, I recommend dining out.

One of the top family restaurants in all of Cleveland. Friendly personable staff always ready to serve you and never treat you as if you're just money. I usually go there and get their BLT which is to die for. You can sit in or order out which is absolutely amazing when you're in a rush in the morning.

My ultimate favorite breakfast spot. If you come to Cleveland for a visit, you must eat here. The staff is welcoming and beyond amazing. The food is cooked to perfection. What more could you ask for?

I enjoyed my first visit. I ordered a serving of French toast and sausage and both were more than satisfying. I was waited on within minutes of taking my seat and the order was delivered within minutes of having it taken. The other customers made my experience worth my while. They were funny, welcoming, and clearly had a love for the restaurant, staff, and other passersby. I would highly recommend this eatery.

Our waitress TJ was so very cool. The pancakes were delicious and hot. I enjoyed the homey feel of the place. I will definitely be returning.

Live far from this restaurant, visiting a family member that lives close. Was very amazed how fresh the food is and cooked to perfection, paid for breakfast at many expensive restaurant but most do not come close to this little gem that was a surprised in the area. Thanks for great food, minus the expensive price with great friendly service.
