The hotel is waterfront , my room had a balcony facing the ocean with a hammock. They have a pool facing the ocean , it is nice. I believe you can get into the ocean right from the hotel and even snorkel there. The breakfast is ok. They have dinner and lunch (American prices).||They follow their policies to the dot. They will not move a finger to place a smile on the clients face. If I pay $50 for early check in , I could come in anytime in the morning . So, I decided to wait a bit for check in , but they would not check me in until 245 to 300 PM. The place was completely empty. I complained to the manager , she said there was a large group coming in , there were no large group, no large group arrived that day in the afternoon, evening , or following morning . The pool and dining area were empty the whole time . It is all about the money.||They could not check me in even at 2 PM without charging $50 , check in time is 300 PM, it is their policy. Then, Saturday morning the day after July 4th , they empty the pool to paint and clean it, so no one could wake up and use pool until late afternoon. The breakfast is from 730 AM to 830 AM . God forbid you wake up on vacation at 845 AM, you are out of luck. But, that is their rules. We did not have our room cleaned for the 3-4 days, we were there. They charge in American $, but their service is not what we get in a two or three star hotel in the USA.

Unbelievable experience! I have never received such wonderful customer service in my life! They made you feel like family. The amendities were awesome, food was great, and the rooms were very clean! You can even sit and relax at the reflection pool which sits right on the ocean or go snorkeling. All of the staff were amazing but Dania and Leslie went above and beyond in making us feel welcome! I recommend Lands End to everyone and plan on returning next time we are in Roatan!

Land’s End is a wonderful place to stay while in West End. It’s just enough out of the way of the busier main strip of town, but also very walkable to anywhere you want to go. The pool and deck are lovely, overlooking the ocean - the perfect place to watch the sunset. There is free breakfast and a bar. The manager Dania is so welcoming and helped me get a huge water container to the room, as well as do laundry while there. She is a sweetheart and helped me immensely! A bonus is her adorable kids who are eager to welcome you or play dolls (her 3 year old helped me practice my Spanish). You can tell the place is well-loved and cared for. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough nice things about this place. The location, the facilities and the people were wonderful. They were always intent on working on any issue. I really enjoyed the beautiful seaside property and pool and gorgeous view from my spacious balcony. It's only a five minute walk from the bars, restaurants and shops on the West End, but it feels like miles away from the hustle and bustle. I will absolutely be back. I am highly enthusiastically recommending Lands End! Also, I felt very safe and secure at the hotel and on the island.

Lands End is located in the northern tip of the West End and is a short 8 min walk into town that we did every single day while we were there for the week. The resort is unfortunately not well kept and it lacks the vibrancy and color that pictures online showed. The staff was extremely helpful and accommodating to all our requests and we were even upgraded to an ocean view room with a small upcharge ($10/night). We went in the offseason (mid-June) so Lands End was unfortunately a bit of a ghost town. We were the only ones there for the first 3 days. The rooms were basic. The bed was not comfortable at all unfortunately, but the air conditioning, shower and balcony made up for it. The TV did not show any channels clearly (all static fuzz). We didn’t spend that much time in the room any way so we didn’t feel like complaining about that at the time. Not sure if they’d be able to fix it though. The pool was beautiful - salt water and the perfect temperature. We didn’t get to see a sunset over the water because of the cloudy conditions during our times but you can tell that it would’ve been absolutely breathtaking if the weather had cooperated. Overall, Lands End’s biggest selling point is its location and price range. If you’re looking to stay at a fancier place I’d recommend somewhere else. If you’re looking for a spot to just stay and enjoy the view and the town without the fancy things, Lands End can definitely be for you.

Really nice manager and cleaning staff. Breakfasts were not huge portions but yummy. Nice salt water pool and a great location for West End. We used the Sea Grape Plantation dive shop since it's a 5 minute walk and $50 for dive and gear. Lands End AC was great, clean everywhere and felt really safe. I would stay again :) One thing, the power goes out across the island maybe once every 2 days and there is no back up generator so things could get warm. It takes 10 minutes to walk from here to the heart of half Moon Bay.

This is an amazing resort to stay if you are looking for a relax place to stay. The beautiful pool and the amazing view were not the highlights of our stay, but the people running this place and the staff. So friendly, helpful and honest. It is a paradise if you are traveling with little children. They have a lot of toys and a lot of safe place to play. We enjoyed every moment there.

I have known Lands End for decades, I have been there with my family, my friends, I have frequented it when I was managing a tourist newspaper, I have sent tourists there on several occasions because I collaborate with two local tour agencies. This afternoon, after about 3 years of not being able to go, I was happy to enter this place again. By chance, a person I have known for several years came to serve me, very kindly, I ordered a coffee, as it was taking a while to arrive, she told me that I could go sit down, she would bring it to the table. After waiting a few more minutes, I called some friends with whom we had dinner plans and suggested that I join them at Lands End, it wasn't long before sunset. The coffee hadn't arrived yet so I started walking towards a table to sit down when a woman, I don't know if she was the owner or the manager, asked me if I was staying in one of the rooms there. I told her no, I apologized for my English and pronunciation, after asking her if she could understand Spanish I saw her facial expressions and attitude worsen. She ended by telling me that this place doesn't only sell coffee, and she showed me to the exit of the place. I am never against any business policy, especially if it is an establishment that also works as a hotel, I understand that it may have stricter rules. But why did they accept my coffee order then? They made me wait just to treat me this way? I repeat that I am not against any policy but this lady did not take 10 seconds to understand me or listen to me and she kicked me out of the place with a classism that made me feel very bad. It hurts me a lot that she ruined my conception of the Lands End that I remembered and that I wanted to live again, but she will surely be very happy that she will never see me again. I hope that Google Translate was able to choose the right words to translate my feelings and intentions.
