"At the edge of the industrial area between prefab buildings and concrete is the landscape park Herzberge. The extensive area can be explored by bike best. Its just few years ago since the nature gets back its space, today the area is a model project for urban agriculture. Where formerly a stadium and a railway yard have been are now orchards, meadows and sheep. Just some greenhouses are indicators of the former usage of the areal. One of Berlin best hidden secrets. A perfect place to relax, keep in shape and buy some truly bio food thanks to the market that can be found inside (works on Saturdays). There are sheeps and there was before some cows (don't know where they go). Nothing fancy to see, but awesome to take a walk and make a picnic in the summer.

Big natural park with some unusual features to discover: sheep, shetland cows, farm equipment art, mosaic garden sculptures... Best seen by bike, running, or if you like long walks. The beautiful grounds around the hospital are also worth a stroll.
