Amazing customer service. Above and beyond. Amazing food. Like they say on their website they are quick. But delicious. Thank you guys so much. I had a large order and they took very good care of us

Lane's Quickie Tacos is the taco hero we all need. Visitors here from NY and we were at the Museum of the North and needed a lunch that satisfied. Quick search of what is nearby and I knew immediately how badly we needed a quickie...taco. We zoomed on over to the small and adorable hut which had seating outside and in, very limited though, and were welcomed with a fun and expressive energy. We ordered our tacos, took a seat and boom the tacos were ready in about 5 to 10 min. Incredible speed for everything being so delicious and fresh. We couldn't try everything and seeing as we fly back to NY tomorrow I can't tell you if everything is great, but with what we had I'd safely assume it is. They are able to accommodate dairy free which is great too, if you have that type of dietary restriction. And if you read this far that's wild because I don't know how you aren't already convinced. Tell your friends and your enemies that Lane's the best tacos anywhere....in the world!?!?! Enjoy!

I used to get these tacos back when he was at the farmers market and we moved before he got into his permanent place. I waited 8 years to have these things again! They are still absolute perfection! I’m from Texas and his sweet tea is 10 out of 10. Nailed it! Queso is fantastic!! Just hope they don’t get tired of me showing up every week!!! 😂

So glad I finally stopped by! Really enjoyed the elote/squash taco, the Alaskan, and the Po Boy. Got the limeade - today’s flavor was raspberry and very refreshing.

This place is a friendly place. It's warm inside. The owner himself is up front and personal. The food is fast. They also offer nachos. He moved here from San Antonio and wanted to create here the flavors he missed there. They offer beer, coke in bottles and they make their own tea and lemonade. It's probably the best rice and beans in all of Fairbanks and the tacos are memorable. Just wish I came in sooner.

Do not miss this amazing local taco spot! Lane and his crew are slinging amazing food and they are constantly doing things for the community too! Oh and they have beer from local breweries on tap ready to enjoy! Seriously, stop by and grab any of his taco creations, you won’t be disappointed.

It's going down at Lane's Quickie Tacos!! So much flavor in your face hole. Incredible tacos and ambiance. Star wars meets the walking dead meets Texas smoked meats in Fairbanks. Lanes a cool cat and his tacos are amazeballs!! Genuinely down to earth and homey vibe. Every taco is crazy tasty. Excellent bang for your buck in homemade tortillas with smoked meats and freshly grown toppings. All the tacos have fun names like the Merican and the Po Boy. Suggestion: taco name - express lane and maybe a fast lane taco. These tacos are under priced for all the flavor they deliver. The almost award winning soup was insanely tasty. If you're looking for the tastiest tacos in Fairbanks, you have arrived. Come have tacos or punch yourself in the face!

I love this place! awesome Tacos, Great sauce, they have Beer on tap there, love the Atmosphere, and they were really nice, amazing place.

Laine was personable and I loved that he made conversation with us when he could. We also geeked out about all things Star Trek which was fun..that aside the food was amazing. Had the Alaskan, the Texan, the Po Boy, The Sunday morning, sweet tea that was perfect not too sweet and still had tea taste as well as his version of tortilla soup. He usually has a total of 6 different tacos and a 7th that rotates out weekly. There is parking in the area. My only complaint is that it isn't open all the time every day because his food is so good that I kept wanting to come back! He definitely has regulars which tells you the food is definitely good. I've never had texmex before but my taste buds say the food was delicious. He also sells merch if you do choose! Has different payment options which was great. Definitely happy to come back next time I am in Fairbanks.

We were heading to the airport and decided to grab a quick bite first! My buddy suggested Taco Bell (um... no!). Super exited that fellow Yelpers referred us to Lane's. Their tacos were scrumptious!! The fellas there were so sweet and quick! With our bellies full and hunger satisfied, we headed home to California. Will definitely visit again when in Fairbanks.

I thought I had the best tacos ever at a hole in the wall in another state. I was wrong. Lane has made something incredibly special with his inventive flavor profiles. Add to that his incredible energy and charismatic personality, and you have a winning combination. We were visiting from Anchorage and Yelp led us to Lane's and it did not disappoint. The po boy taco was so good that my eyes rolled back in my head. The rice and beans, the homemade tortillas and fresh salsas only amped up the flavor bomb that was exploding in my mouth. Do not think of skipping Lane's if you're in the area. Worth the trip!!!!

Lane's Tacos has been a game changer for me since I moved to Fairbanks. So here's the go to play. When you eat there, get the Alaskan and 6th taco plus rice and beans and a drink. You'll be happy, full, and good to go. But when you get your food to go, get the Alaskan, 6th, and 1 other taco off the menu with rice and beans. I call that the nap taco. 3 tacos with rice and beans from Lanes and your belly will be filled with delicious tacos and you're ready for a nap. Treat yourself to the nap taco, you deserve it.

Good tacos but really expensive. Over $5 per taco and they are pretty small. Taco King and Miguel's are $3-4 and a bit bigger plus sauces are no extra charge

Those who live in Fairbanks are so lucky to have the option to eat at Lane's everyday. I tried during my 10 day vacation and thoroughly enjoyed planning each day around our lunch spot. I cannot recommend every taco or soup enough. just eat at Lane's!!!!

One of the best meals I ate in my two weeks in Alaska. Fresh handmade tortillas with delicious fillings. Lane is enthusiastic about his tacos and it shows! My husband and I had the Po Boy taco and a smoked chicken and slaw that was on special. Both were delicious.

Lane's was great! It isn't the largest place but the staff is super friendly. Menu is roughly the same with occasional changes for the special as well as with seasonal vegi's. Lane was originally from San Antonio from our conversations and brings a different twist. Worth a visit if in Fairbanks.

Awesome tacos! The owner was so cool. He took the time to explain the menu and the popular items. Even stopped to help an elderly regular get down the stairs safely. Truly an overall great experience. Thank you! And may the force be with you!

Holy smokes! Who knew I'd have to travel to Fairbanks, Alaska to have some of the best tacos I've ever eaten?! San Antonio ex-pat Lane has 6 menu staple tacos and one special of the day taco every day. Each one begins with a homemade flour tortilla that enrobes a super generous amount of some of the most succulent beef and pork I've ever had. The seasoning is imported from San Antonio and every bite is like a party on your tongue. Highly recommend one of the combo platters, chased down with a Mike's hard lemonade. The beans are seasoned so well and are topped with a sprinkle of cheese. Rice is tasty. But the avocado sauce? OMG that stuff needs to be bottled! It was the perfect topper for the Alaskan taco. Lane the owner was on scene overseeing all preparation. He's a great guy and is proud to share his story with you. Sidekick Jon is a hoot. Ask him who's the spooner and who's the hugger. You will LMAO! Very highly recommended.

Everybody Loves A Quickie! Just as the shirt says, if you like Quickies and Tacos then this place will not disappoint. His great tasting taco combinations will blow your mind. The great customer service from the owner who waits on you is a welcome treat as you enter. I tried several of the taco options and they were all great, with the Po Boy Taco being my favorite. Service was quick. Prices are on the higher end for tacos, especially $5 for adding a small portion of rice & beans. The quality, service and taste make this a must-go spot! The homemade flour tortillas make Lane's Quickie Tacos some of the tastiest tacos outside the bedroom.

My favorite place in Fairbanks for tacos! They have awesome tacos and many options. The service is fast and the staff is really friendly too! Will definitely come back to try out different taco combinations!

Absolutely delicious! I had the Veggie Delight Taco Platter for $12 - it came with re-fried beans, Spanish rice, a kale taco, and a bean and cheese taco. The whole meal was absolutely delicious and very filling. A kale taco may sound strange but it was actually my favorite part of the whole meal. The kale was tender and flavorful... next time I stop by I am ordering three of them! I highly recommend stopping by - anything you get is sure to be delicious.

Best tacos and service I've had in quite a while! I've lived in San Diego and visited Texas many times and always get tacos. I'd be hard pressed to remember tacos that good in those places. Two super guys working the place. There should be a line out the door

The only thing I don't like about this place, is that I can't eat more tacos in one sitting. Seriously love this place and the people are so friendly. Love it.

Ok where do I begin. First off im from Cali & I've been in Fairbanks (for work) for a week. Let me tell you I HAVE NOT found tacos as tasty & authentic as Lane's!!! As soon as you walk thru the door you are welcomed by Lane and Star, Suuuuuper friendly & hospitable. They make you feel right at home. Small place but they do have some seats. They explained their menu & gave me suggestions. I went with the carne guisada & the barbacoa tacos. Mmmmmm, so good. Very flavorful, authentic just like back home & with homemade flour tortillas. The meat just falls apart, so tender. I also had the "piggy tortilla soup" it was amazing!! Full of shredded pork meat with onions, tomatoes & lots of flavor. Perfect for this cold Alaska weather. So if you're in the area give them a try, you won't be disappointed!!

Great tacos. Especially pulled pork and brisket tacos. The place wasn't the cleanest and I would probably do take out next time, but the tacos were delicious.

Ok Boyz and Girls lend me your ear. This is not your local taco bell taco! This food Lane serves is from the heart, I'll say it again this is not an ordinary taco. The Alaskan, my wife's Favorite, Is a pulled pork with onions, fresh cilantro and with a lime, Delish! My favorite on the daily menu is the Texan, oh my! Then there is the specials you have to look out for. Number one in our heart is the Po Boy, its a seasoned brisket, oh so moist you could drink the juice lol with onions, pickles and a creamy bbq sauce. You get this on a Fresh made Flour or corn tortilla. Are you hungry yet? Go get you some taco love.

I have not one bad thing to say about Lane's! Despite being a Tex-mex spot, this is a true Fairbanks experience. Open door, slightly janky, dirt lot, funky decor. The owner Lane is quirky and incredibly hospitable. Introduces himself to every customer. These tacos are unreal-- and a true blend of Alaska and Lane's home state of Texas. We got the Alaskan Taco, and I don't know that I'd ever get something different... it was just so good! Be sure to slather up your taco with the homemade hot sauce. It's not too hot and it's packed with flavor. Also note that they're always trying out something fun and new. Recently, Lane experimented with jackfruit tacos, and he's getting ready to start making his own flour tortillas. This guy is always on the move to create the best customer experience. Price wise... $5 taco won't fill you up, but $9 will cure moderate hunger. Wish it was just a tad cheaper, but for this quality of food, I'll live with it.

A well put together street taco is an art form. One that Lane has perfected. All of the time and effort that he puts into creating these amazing tacos shows. Making sure that the flavors and the experience are excellent. His regular menu is always consistently delicious and I love all of the new tacos he comes up with to switch out day to day. You can tell he really cares about his end product and his customers. He takes special care to make sure every customer feels special; that alone makes you want to come back time after time. Quality food takes time and it's not fast food, so waiting a few minutes for the tacos of my dreams is hardly a bother. If you haven't tried Lane's tacos yet, you must! P.S. my favorites are the Alaskan, the Texan, and the Po Boy.

Some of the best tacos I have ever had the pleasure of enjoying. I would go a step further and say this is the best establishment in Alaska for tacos. Lane and Ms Star are incredibly welcoming and courteous and their food is always outstanding! Can't stress enough how good this place and the people are. One of my absolute favorites!!

I can't express it enough that Lane has the best vegetarian taco I've ever had! I now live in Los Angeles where there are vegetarian tacos galore but all it has done is make me miss Lane's tacos! Thanks Lane for all the good food. Your tacos are now on the bucket list of almost every vegetarian and vegan person I know! This is a great place for a quick and easy no fuss bite. Small menu means they can focus on making each item delicious - though I do wish there were just a few more options. Lane is very friendly and each taco is made fresh to order. Limited seating but you can take your tacos to go. Will be back!

AWESOME. Delicious veggie bean tacos. Loved both the Hippie and the Kiddo. Super speedy taco maker. Dole whip was perfect treat at the end. Friendly service, nice outdoor tables, plenty of parking. We were visiting from Manhattan and these tacos beat any we've had in New York!

My group of six came in before closing, the owner inside was glad to serve us, give us a taste of his fresh hand pressed tortilla before taking our order, and dishing out 12+ tacos in record time. The tacos are unique, filling and crafted with love. Taco love. I will coming back without a doubt. Thank you Lane!

These are the best tacos in Fairbanks! My husband and I ate here last week and were seriously impressed. We had the Alaskan, the American, and the Texan taco and they were all delicious. Lane is also extremely courteous and nice to talk to. We will definitely be back.

One of Fairbanks true gems!!!! I love Lane's Tex-Mex style! All of his offerings are absolutely delicious- even the Piggy Tortilla Soup (I'm not usually a soup person, but I assure you, this is something you must try!) Lane started off at the Farmer's Market, and now has an awesome place right above The Marlin bar. It's charming and warm. When you walk in you are greeted not only by the smell of delicious taco love, but a warm smile and hello. His entire staff is well versed in their offerings, so don't feel shy asking for recommendations or if something is sufficiently spiced/too spicy for you. They love making people happy! I have trouble with spicy things, but their tacos are just perfectly flavorful without bothering me. If you wish to kick it up into the Fire Zone- they have many different sauces you can add- just ask! Their regular tacos are all wonderful. My favorites are The Texan (this amazing stewed beef style) and The Alaskan (shredded pork). They also have The 'Merican (shredded beef), the Kiddo (hand made refried beans with cheese!!!!), The Hippy (kale and veggie- vegan friendly!), and they offer sides of Mexican rice and beans too! Soup is a semi regular offering (yummm). All of their specials are just wonderful too. I adore The Redheaded Stranger in particular. He's open in the evenings now too! I love being able to pop by for a yummy taco dinner. Oh, and Lane's Quickie Tacos live up to their name too- they are super fast. You can call ahead with your order too, if you are in a rush! This is a really fantastic small business. I hope they continue to grow through the years. It's one of my go to places, I love sharing with friends too.

Best tacos in town. Lane hits the spot with each ones of his tacos every time. The chicken tinga is exceptional.

SO GOOD. And sooooo unique. Their food is super fresh and the flavors are out of this world! The menu is relatively simple so you don't get overwhelmed and they usually have some good agua fresca on tap as well. Highly highly recommend this for a quick lunch on the university side of town.

Really yummy! I have the hippy bcs well.... I'm a hippy :p The flavors are great. Prices are reasonable and the food is fast and fresh! Healthy too! I really like the options provided. My kale pieces were a bit large. I wish they were cut smaller for easy chewing. Not sure if it was just my tacos or if the kale is always large. Nonetheless they were delicious and I managed to wolf them down! Can't wait to go back. We prefer to eat at places with the local feel and this definitely takes the cake... or taco! Yum!

Wow. Just wow. These tacos are so freaking good! Had a great conversation with the chef and you can tell he takes pride in his food in his delivery and the passionate way if describing his ingredients.

Best tacos in Fairbanks and one of my favorite places to eat. Homemade flour tortillas definitely make the taco- ingredients are full of flavor and always fresh. I love going in each week to try the taco of the week!

In town for a few days and always down to try local taco shops. Lane was super nice and his tacos were even better. Had the Mex and the brisket tacos and both were super good and cooked to perfection. If you're in town for a little while, definitely stop in and treat yourself.

Best taco spot in Fairbanks by far. I challenge the owner to come out with a pastore taco, I know he's got it in him and pastore is my personal favorite. I ordered the Alaskan, Po boy and the Texan and each one was amazing. The owner is an awesome dude too. Very friendly and communicative. One thing that's hard to find in Fairbanks is good service, not here. Even if he is by himself and has a line, he lets everyone know what's going on. You can't ask for anything better in this town. Excellent street tacos! We've been eating Lane's since he started summers at the Farmer's Market and winters at HooDoo. The guisada and pork are perfect every time, and the other tacos are also excellent - chicken, brisket, veggie, whatever! The tortilla soup is a must when available. Lane is a real character - funny and friendly and eager to please every customer. He's genuinely interested in getting to know each new face. His place on College is cozy but comfy, and well worth a visit!

Real good stuff. I'd say a touch on the expensive side for two tacos but the flour was made in house and the service was great.

Lane's is the place for Tex-Mex tacos! The Alaskan is a lovely shredded pork taco, get it with some of the green spicy sauce for an extra kick! The brisket is to die for, with its cream sauce and pickles. And the Sunday Mornin' is a perfect add on to their recent updates! Couple all this with two great guys, Lane and Brady, and you're set!

This place was one of the highlights of our Fairbanks trip! Delicious food, kind staff, and a cozy atmosphere. All of that along with great vegetarian/vegan options makes this a must see in Fairbanks!

Texas in Alaska! Lane is amazing and so is his food! We PCS'd here from TX and thank heaven we found this place! The tacos are amazing. The Texan Taco is like biting into happy TX memories. Plus the Big Red and conchas! So so good. If you have ever been to TX and long for the food while you're in Alaska then eat at Lanes

The guys who own this place are super friendly and speaking as a Texan the tacos are delicious! We got the Hippie and Kiddo tacos. It was nice to have vegetarian tacos with fresh veggies and a great vegetarian bean option for our kiddo!

Being a Texas transplant, I didn't think great tacos would be an option while here in Alaska. This place certainly fit the bill. If you love Torchy's, then you'll want to give Lane's Quickie Tacos a go. It was like a taste of home and warmed my heart.

For starters the tacos taste delicious the meat is nicely seasoned and has a good kick. The staff is also great. Things I would prefer (to make it even better) include; less moisture content in the finished products, more topping options (such as: lettuce, tomato, onions, peppers, cilantro, carrot, radish, sour cream, additional homemade salsa), burrito options, tortilla chips, and beer would be a bonus. The atmosphere could use some upgrading also and longer hours would be a bonus.
