Lang Books is a gem! Inside this tiny space, you’ll find a carefully curated selection only someone with a passion as strong and genuine as the owner’s could possibly put together. Whoever you are and whatever creative interests you may have, you’re bound to find something of quality and value here. My most-loved books, zines, stickers and stationary are from this place (all of which would have been more difficult to find elsewhere).
More than just a place that provides print media, you’ll often see Lang Books hosting events that highlight the work of many talented artists. Any and every pop-up is inviting and worthwhile (the one where ties were being sold was my personal favorite). I’ve met the kindest and coolest people by frequenting this bookstore on normal days but especially event days.
If the products or art showcases aren’t enough to hook you in, just talk to Lang and you’ll see the heart of the store. You’ll see just how knowledgeable he is and how much love he’s put into the small business—this alone will be enough to make you want to revisit time and time again!
