Lang Chai Authentic Vietnamese Cuisine

Was seriously craving pho today, so I dragged the family here and wow, totally worth it. The soup was so good, craving satisfied! Prices are solid, portions hit the spot, and the servers were friendly. The vibe was great too, and my favourite Adele album was playing, so that pretty much sealed the deal. We all left happy and full. This place is officially our go‑to for Vietnamese cuisine. ☺️

Lang chai in Scarborough is a fantastic spot! The service is friendly and attentive, and the ambience is modern, cozy, and inviting. The food is truly amazing—we loved the crispy, garlicky fish sauce chicken wings (Cánh Gà Chiên Nước Mắm) with sticky rice, pickled veggies, and cucumber. The Bún Thịt Nướng (grilled pork vermicelli) was perfectly charred, fresh, and flavorful with all the classic toppings and nước chấm. Authentic, generous portions, and spot-on flavors. If you’re craving great Vietnamese food in the GTA, this is the place! Can’t wait to return.

Overall my experience at Lang Chai was amazing. The food was very good, especially the grilled pork and chicken. The flavour was great and very memorable. The service was excellent! They had friendly staff, they sat us down quickly. The food also came out very quickly after we ordered. The atmosphere is great. It’s very comfy, cozy, and welcoming. Very bright and the decor really adds onto the experience of the place. I would definitely recommend and will be coming back as well!

Great quantity and taste for the price! The broth was really good and was so full by the end of it. The spring rolls were crispy (a little greasy but just pat it on paper) and service was quick. Would love to try the rice and vermicelli dishes next time! If you can't find parking, there's extra parking in the back.

I absolutely love the food here, especially the phở! The menu has so many delicious Vietnamese dishes to choose from. My family and I have been coming for over a year, almost every week. The staff are always warm and friendly, and the restaurant is spotless and inviting. The owners are incredibly kind as well. Highly, highly recommend!

The broth was incredibly aromatic, the toppings were fresh, and the bone marrow added a depth of flavor that made every spoonful unforgettable. The presentation was beautiful, the portions were generous, and everything tasted like it was made with real care. The service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere made the meal even better. If you love pho, or even if you’re trying it for the first time, this place is an absolute must. I can’t wait to come back!

First time visiting this place and I really liked the decor—it’s very eye-catching. We ordered hot egg coffee, Bun Bo Hue, and vermicelli with grilled pork, spring rolls, and sugarcane shrimp. The portions were very large. The coffee was rich and creamy but slightly sweet from the condensed milk. The food was okay overall.

Very fulfilled meal. Big portion. Good value for the price. I had grilled chicken and it is really grilled instead of pan fried in some other Vietnamese restaurants. However, the spring roll is more chewy than crispy. The pho is very tasteful. Definitely come back to try other dishes next time when I am nearby. Environment setting is very comfortable and doesn’t feel crowded. Just finding the parking is a bit of challenge though.
