Just checked out of this hotel and I’m already missing it! We had amazing 3 night’s stay with our family. Experiencing the first time fully natural wood surrounded by the hotel and was so admired with the decent aquarium with fountain. More over I got over decent sleep and spotless noice even though the busiest street. The room was comfy bed with the natural wood and the kids like it. Looking forward for another stay.

I loved my stay here- it's a fantastic location right in the heart of George Town, a short walk from everything you might want to do. It a a beautiful heritage building, well decorated and preserved. I had an attic room and it was huge but very homely, it contained lots of thoughtful details. You can also hear the fountain at night, which I personally really liked as it provided pleasant white noise. Everything works well, especially the shower and AC. The staff are lovely and so helpful, you are made to feel very welcome. The communal spaces are great, as is the roof terrace, and it is great to have use of a microwave, kettle, crockery and fridge as well as the free tea and coffee. It also felt very safe there, which is important as a solo female traveller. The only thing that wasn't for me was that I found the beds quite hard, but that is personal preference. Overall a great place to stay and fantastic value for money!

I really loved my stay here first of all would have to agree that the guest house here is very strategic as is so easy to move around due to it being at the heart of the heritage places in Penang and city. Staff were good they display excellent service to me and my friends most importantly very helpful and easily to get hold of. The place is very tidy, clean and welcoming. This place takes me back in time especially with the decorations which gives the old heritage vibes. We really enjoyed looking forward to coming back here again soon.

Lovely place. Free water, coffee, Tea. Very homey feel in a great location, fantastic price. Rooms were a great size, they even had a floor fan which was a surprise! AC, hot water etc all on par. Would stay again.

Excellent location! Walking distance to eateries and tourist spots! Great hotel option for solo traveler to get a single bed room. great price for you to get a nice cozy room to rest after a long day. essential facilities like water dispenser, hair dryers, iron, cold aircond, water heater - yes. Cons side no parking for guest as it’s located in very busy street, you require to park at least 10-15mins walking distance away. Cleanliness can be improved as truly can feel my feet stepping on some dust. Room sound proofing is odd if you stayed in single room as you can truly heard upstair foot print as all wood structures. Overall I’m enjoying. Thanks for the good stay.

Staffs are helpful and very kind, location is amazing, the building is very cute! The steep stairs didn't mind me as I am relatively flexible and fit. They have complimentary tea, coffee, water you can have anytime you want. Rooftop space is very nice to chill around too. Only thing you should be careful is the noise from neighbor. If your neighbor comes home after midnight and walks around like a dinosaur, won't shut up, or makes a lot of noise overall, then you will have hard time sleeping even if you have good quality of earplugs. It really depends on your neighbor.
