"Pick up some Kenyan crafts at Langata Link No trip to Kenya is complete without picking up some of the beautiful handicrafts available here. Once of the best places to find these is at Langata Link – a house in the leafy suburb of Karen where every room has been turned into a different shop. They have everything here from bags made out of colourful Kenyan kanga material to delicate jewellery, rustic khaki luggage and pretty pottery. In the centre of the shop there’s also a lovely café, great for a pit stop after all that tiring spending you’ll be doing."

A great place to visit and shop for a wide range of gifts and souvenirs. They have so many varieties from jewellery to clothing, shoes, utensils etc. The price is actually cheaper compared to most gift shops located within tourist sites. There are cafés here where you can relax and enjoy good meals

Nice little stroll through various shops from belts to candles to clothes and furniture. It’s a very relaxed shopping environment as the shop are build to give you privacy while you are roaming around.

It is a typical gift shop aimed solely at tourists. However, the prices are exorbitant. It's too expensive to even consider buying anything.

Found the Cinnabar Green range of natural products from body wash and shampoos here. The last time I encountered these at Mt Kenya Safari Club I thought they were only locally available until I bumped into them again in Karen. So I went online and found retail outlets. Loved the Langata Link Shops option as it is on my way. When I picked the complimentary magazine in-store, I realized that they have a recycling model where you refill containers instead of trashing them! How amazing is that!

The only non-tourist trap that I've been to. There is pricing tag on each item (surprising) and great selection of goods. Atmosphere is great with cafe in patio and some play area for kids.

Langata Link is a great place to visit. Love the recent advancements! I often advise our clients to visit the place whenever they mention "souvenirs." But what happened to the 30% driver/tour guide commission we used to get when we brought visitors? I was told to fill a form and was assured of the commission since my clients spent at the shop, but I never received anything at all! Is this just something that happens between the office staff or is it a new rule?
