Langham Place, Guangzhou

The hotel was conveniently located a short walk away from the metro and is easily identifiable due to its unique design. There are a few malls nearby that has sufficient eateries. Few street food available though within walking distance. We were given a room on the top floor and the room felt new, modern and sufficiently bright. Lounge canapes had variety, and breakfast was excellent with many local delicacies. Staff very friendly, helpful and responsive on wechat. An excellent stay and would certainly stay again if I go back to Guangzhou.

I thought the natural light coming into the hotel was very nice, as it gave a spacious and welcoming atmosphere. ||The room was also very spacious and comfortable, lounge food was very good, there was a wide selection of all-day snacks and tea/coffee available , but unfortunately no freshly-squeezed juices. ||The location is rather quiet when it is not during the canton festival, but it can be an advantage for people who want to stay and relax at a quieter part of town. ||Also, we encountered a few flies during breakfast.

Nice hotel to stay with good breakfast and gym. Customer service was great especially CITA from the lobby service , he was very helpful and nice. Thank you very much for the 7 nights of the services. We would come back again next year.

The location was absolutely incredible — walking distance to the Canton Fair Expo Centre and just steps away from a mall with Starbucks, Subway, and Hey Tea (which was amazing). I would *highly recommend* this hotel and would definitely stay here again. We had a suite room and it was next level: spacious layout, double basins, a huge shower, automatic curtains — truly a world-class setup. The overall experience felt premium. One standout was *Nikki* — what an incredible staff member! Friendly, helpful, smart, and attentive. She went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She is a true asset to the brand and deserves recognition and promotion. However, the rest of the staff unfortunately did not match the same level. Many lacked basic customer service skills, attentiveness, and effective communication — especially in English. Compared to previous stays at the Shangri-La in Guangzhou, where nearly all staff are fluent in English and service is consistently high, The Langham falls short in this regard. If The Langham aims to be the best or maintain a five-star standard, serious improvement is needed in: - Staff training - English communication - Customer attention & responsiveness - Problem-solving ability on the spot The hotel has everything going for it — modern rooms, great location, and excellent facilities — but service consistency must improve to truly compete at the top level.

All the staff were exceptionally kind and attentive. The front reception ladies noticed that we were from different countries and kindly reminded us to dress warmly in the early mornings and late evenings, such a thoughtful gesture!||||The team on Level 1 were also amazing. They helped me receive and unpack a parcel, neatly disposed of the packaging, and were always ready to assist with taxis, car services, and our luggage. Their professionalism and warmth made our stay even more enjoyable.||||We truly appreciate their hospitality and will definitely return on our next visit to Guangzhou!

I stayed for 3 nights almost at the end of my trip to China. If you're coming for Canton fair, the hotel is very close to the complex but if you intend to visit the shopping markets in Guangzhou best to stay closer to the market areas. Aside that, the hotel and it's staff are very friendly. The best part of my stay is the breakfast. Omg. Everyday there's something different. Please ensure to take the strawberry smoothie 😋 it's lovely. I must say Langham had the best breakfast during my visit after staying in 7 hotels in my 18 nights visit. I'm definitely staying again in my next visit.

Excellent hotel. The location was perfect for us. The front desk, concierge, staff at the Open Kitchen restaurant and housekeeping was outstanding. The breakfast buffet was impressive with lots of choices of Chinese and Western food. We enjoyed our 7-day stay at Langham and will surely stay again when we visit Guangzhou.

This hotel with a very beautiful and charming view. It was my last day in China and they upgraded my room to a suite, and prepared for me a fruit plate with a welcome card and a gift!!! The breakfast was varied and delicious. The steak in the restaurant wasn't the best, in their branch in Shenzhen it was better. Overall, the view, the experience and the professionalism of the staff was a very beautiful and unforgettable experience and for sure i will came back. Thank you
